I went to one of these when I was younger with my dad and loved it.
Too bad he limited me to just 6 cars, since the money was coming out of his pocket.

Well you bought one from hot wheels and one from maisto in a short time. Not to say I don't buy more examples of models *looks at BMW M5's and VW beetles*

Besides, there was just 1 left so better take one before somebody does. And it's quite hard to find it now.
Unfortunately, we have no restock in some stores here for Hot Wheels. So in the mean time, Matchbox is on the go👍

Think I'm going to purchase a Maisto car this weekend and "fix it up" a bit. 👍

It was about time I bought some more cars.
Hurray for bad pictures (nah I'll spare you and try and only send the good ones)
First up is a siku 5er (for those that count this one is nr. 3)
But this one is a police car or should I say polizei.
Next up is another polizei car. An Audi A4 avant.
Thats it for siku.
I got one matchbox.
An austin mini in green! It goes nice with my mini van.
And I also bought two majorettes.
A Peugeot 407 that came with a canoe trailer.
Its cool 👍
And a Toyota hilux
And that is it!
I really like the majorettes. They are nicely painted and so far there is nothing wrong with them.
The matchbox has some chipped chrome on the front
No need to tell you how awesome the sikus are though.

Shoud've gotten both, got crazy people that always find the spot you hid it. I tryed that hiding thing once, but some clever sod found it and it was gone when I came back for it
Or an employee found it and put it back on the pegs. I know collectors that look for people's hidden stashes of treasure hunts, etc. And they will take the car and replace it with something else. Kinda funny some times.
I made a few rounds last night and found a few cars. Also purchased another Lambo Gallardo in satin black because I wasn't sure if I had bought one on a regular sized card already. So since I have two of them now, I will gladly send it out to anyone on here. Just PM me your address.

Was it on a high or low shelf?
I would put it behind stacked boxes of sikus on the highest shelf
Nobody could find it!
I had it on the lowest shelf, also behind stacked boxes and even had it strategically placed flat where most of the package couldn't be seen unless one of them was moved.

Aha!! Naughty-naughty... I went to 7-Eleven after school today, and I found a Chevy Corvette ZR-1 in the snacks area. LOL who did that I did bought 2 cars today since they have a promotion. Both old cars... First is the 2008 First Edition Ford Focus HW and MBX Mercedes CLS500. Pics coming up soon maybe later tonight.
Also RACECAR, I hide the car on the lower part of the shelf and to the very back. They have got experience since all local collectors are aware of this tactics. Even the shopkeeper himself also a collector. Now that's cool!!! But not to us

I did bought 2 cars today since they have a promotion. Both old cars... First is the 2008 First Edition Ford Focus HW and MBX Mercedes CLS500. Pics coming up soon maybe later tonight.Also RACECAR, I hide the car on the lower part of the shelf and to the very back. They have got experience since all local collectors are aware of this tactics. Even the shopkeeper himself also a collector. Now that's cool!!! But not to us

Hi Guys, Haven't posted here for a while but I though a few of you customisers might be interested in this.
On the Hobbytalk Forums, there is a diecast customizing forum and each year a thing called the 'Hobbytalk Kustom Kontest'.
Here's the Link to the thread.
It's basically a competition where everybody starts off with the same casting and customizes it how ever they like, then at the end everyone sends in a few pics of their 'creation' and a poll is put up. There are prizes for 1st. 2nd, and 3rd aswell.
I'm going in it...I hope a few of you guys will register on Hobbytalk and go in it aswell.

I was reading a post on hotwheelscollectors.com last night. Some guy got a call from his dad who was shopping at wal-mart for end tables. Apparently they were looking one over and opened up one of the drawers. It had 10+ treasure hunts and rare variations all stuffed in there. May have been an employee with a stash, but he told his dad to purchase all of them and he did. 👍
I would have done the same thing and replaced them all with mystery cars.
