Are you talking about the "Infiniti" Skyline, or Hakosuka Skyline? We've yet to see Hakosuka in my area. Collector I know from Peru says that "Infiniti" was impossible to find in this area.... probably because we are drowning in it. lol

I remember why I came on here. I tweeted that Forza post by @VXR & it got retweeted by Hot Wheels:

P.S. Japan Booster Black Friday Sale

That's so cool. Thanks for posting it here, I don't use twitter much so wouldn't have known.

Had a not-so-pleasant experience at Daboxtoys today, and thought I should give some advices (or a rant, depending on your perspective) on buying stuff from them in person:

Today I went to their store to see if I could exchange my recently-bought 365 GTB4, which had a missing part, for something else, and to buy more Kyoshos. I went to the cashier and told them that I noticed a missing part on the body of the car, which I couldn't possibly have seen before buying it, considering that specific part of the body was covered by the bag of parts in the blister (all 1/64 Kyosho Ferraris come unassembled, as most of you know), and asked if I could exchange it for something else. I didn't do anything to the car and the bag of parts, apart from taking the car out of the blister for inspection and putting it back in, and I presented the receipt before them. They said that it was impossible, considering that they weren't responsible for that damage (which already sounds a bit odd - shouldn't they have had a closer and more careful look at the body when they took the blister out of the box?), and they said that I should ask the cashier to tear apart the adhesive tape that holds the blister and the box together, and allow me to take the car out of the blister and look at it more carefully the next time. 'Okay fine, you can say that it's my fault,' I thought to myself.

Then I continued to shop around the store, and decided to buy two 1/64 Kyosho Ferraris. Now this time, before I paid at the cashier, I asked if I can take one of the cars out of the blister for inspection. The person said okay, and tore apart the adhesive tape. After I took the car out of the blister, the cashier said that 'You took the car out of the blister, I'm afraid you must pay when the car is in such a state.' This means that I must pay for the car even after I've only took the car out of the blister, and they allow no further inspection beyond peeking into the blister, even if it's a damaged model! I found this to be a problem, which I will reflect through the Facebook rating (after all, what can I do?), and I advise you not to buy any unassembled models from them, just in case it is damaged, and they won't accept returns.

So here I am, asking you: should I keep the model with the missing part, or sell it on eBay or some other channels? After all, I already have 3 1/64 Ferrari 365 GTB4s, and I don't think I need the damaged one.

Edit: Also, I didn't buy the Kyosho Beads Mazda 787B, because I told myself that if I couldn't get the Ferrari exchanged, then I wouldn't get it, just in case you are interested.

@GT HP Nut I've ordered once from their eBay store + once from their online store.

From eBay was the Le Mans Champ 787B, and it came with blemished stand/base. Model's value was affected by it, but there was no disclosure of this damage, or defect in the listing.

From their online store was TLV Isuzu Bellett. Severely damaged box, which also affects its value. It's the industry standard to make note of something like this, and price it accordingly. Charging full price & surprising customers with badly damaged box/card is an move you sometimes see from beginner/idiot seller on eBay, but even then, it is rare.

I have outstanding preorder with them, but I'm not gonna lie, I'm fully expecting something to go wrong with Daboxtoys. I fully share your sentiments about their customer service. That's pretty poor. They either sold an incomplete kit, or lost a part when they opened it. Responsibility's with them, if you ask me.
ha'WHOOSH goes the weasel.
He's a goat, everybody knows this.

That was really neat work. 👍

Stopped at Big Lots for a chair, only left with this.

What's the preorder?
It was like four Civics by Tarmac? Not holding my breath after that customer service story. Can you imagine Japan Booster doing that to one of their customers? Somehow it's the customer's fault that they were sold an incomplete kit? Unreal. 👎

Figured something out today. You know those sewing thread storage boxes that you can store 1:64 cars in? You can get them at Michael's craft stores (if you have one near you) and although they usually sell for $20, Michael's almost always has a 50% off coupon for a single item. They had a coupon today so I used it and got one for $10, and then when I checked out and my receipt printed, it also printed another 50% of coupon that I can use next weekend.

So if anyone here is looking for those cases and don't want to wait for them in the mail or pay shipping if you buy less than the required amount to qualify for free shipping, Michael's is your place. ;)

I finally posted the cars I've been wanting to show you, @Cano I had the week from hell, had no time.:

If you can wait, I always get them from Walmart.com. It's free ship to stores(your local Walmart) & I think I usually pay $8.50 a piece, or something like that. One time, their price surged upward & I bought them from some online sewing supply store(maybe $12-ish or something?), but Walmart price has come down since then.

Oh, 1-2 dollars to satisfy gotta have it now syndrome is OK with me.
Don't forget the coupon cutting. Plus, I always feel weird going inside crafts stores.
Oh yeah. Those were the racing ones, right? I forgot all about them.
They were, but most of them have just plain color & black hood I think. Idemitsu livery is the one I'm really wanting.
The two convention rods are awesome. Great detailing. 👍
Thanks! 👍

Nngg... yes and no. Both have awesome paint jobs and that 100% era casting is sweet -the best HW era by far- but they both have details that would have made the 30+ dollar price a no-no for me. The wide whites on those wheels and with that type of hot rod are kinda weird, the brown suspension pieces on the black car irk me in an impossible way, and of course the convention tampos. They are cool, but damn.

I do recall other older versions of that casting that didn't have any of those, lol. Still, a good buy as they are trully colectible.

Would you feel more comfortable in a lingerie store? Craft stores have cool things, man!
Goes without saying, different level of awkwardness.

See, I liked all that stuff with the exception of convention tampos. I coud've done without them, but it is what it is!

Japan Booster had super rare stuff on auctions that closed today. I really wanted the Toyota Crown(that 50's one) patrol car, taxi & also Mazda/Nissan Coke route truck, but I struck out on those.

I'm okay with the losses, because I was able to bid what I thought I wanted to pay. It was tough to snipe, because they were all closing within seconds of one other.

Here's what I did win:

Hino Contessa here is the first one of this casting I actually really wanted. Never even seen it before, but I'm very excited about it now. Red Bimmer is something I've been shopping for for while now. $26(free ship) is a great deal on one these days. Also happy about the Porsche police car, because this is the one from Kanagawa Prefecture, where I'm originally from. You see another Porsche patrol car in the "loss" column, but that was another prefecture, and just my test bid to make sure my smartphone was up to the task during my lunchbreak. :D

I don't think I showed you guys what I picked up from Japan Booster Black Friday Sale:

Showed this to Jarrod, but what I found on Amazon:

So yeah. I've been busy throwing money at TLVs. I've been hemorrhaging money in real life too, so this should offset things? No? :dopey:

These are going to be pretty sweet.

Love vintage Ford trucks, so I love the look of this truck. As for the wheels, I'm really surprised we are finally getting wheels like this in 2016. I'm glad to see it, I just can't believe it took them this long.

Latest arrivals. TLV Nissan Skyline, TLV Isuzu Gemini (that one has been sitting on my watch list for ages) and Tomica Nissan Z patrol car.

Also happy about the Porsche police car,

Thirty two freakin dollars...

I also grabbed a couple tlvs off Japan Booster's black friday sale, a Mazda Luce and some kind of three wheeler. Freaking things do Bamby eyes to me and I can't help myself -_-

Found the new (lol) Matchbox Infiniti G37 the other day.
We are drowning in it around here. Blisters & those single boxes.
TLV Nissan Skyline
Why am I still convinced that you ordered red!!!! Box art is amazing by the way. Your pictures are awesome, too. When I post my red Skyline, can I borrow your gray Skyline pics? Awesome. Thanks. :P
Thirty two freakin dollars...
I know, right?(just checked eBay history: Japan Booster normally sell it $47.99! :embarrassed:) #1 Porsche on my list however was the black one, which wasn't featured in this batch of amazing stuff Japan Booster came up with. Second was probably the silver(I call it Dr. @Nessy Porsche), but as I figured, that thing went for too much money. $61.

My #1 choice, black Porsche normally go for $55+ if you know where to look. I'd do $45. :guilty: Someday!

Did you get the damaged box sale?(crazy discount), or the normal 5% off across the board thing?
