OMG, I just checked on eBay & I paid $38.99 for that(shipped). Don't tell Cano, he'll slap me. Thanks guys. I made it using just toaster & a bowling ball. It was very difficult.
Are you trying to tell me it's like a magic trick? Tied up pig, flying w/apple in its mouth. That's pretty amazing!

Little haul. Missed the international D/Hybrid case that dropped in ASDA on Saturday. Went in on Tuesday night and grabbed the dregs left. My night shift lady only works Tuesday-Thursday so missed opening 2 cases.

Not seen this Speed Graphics 5 pack before. It's mighty nice. Picked these back dated stuff this morning in Smyths and Halfords.

Not bought any 1/64 scale cars in a while, so rectified that with a couple recently.

Particularly pleased with the 510 which I bought in the US (basically impossible to find any of the rarer Hot Wheels in the UK). The Toyota Alphard was a spur-of-the-moment purchase - Tesco has started selling branded 1/64 diecasts by Realtoy. Not many manufacturers as yet (and most are German) but this one stood out. Quality doesn't seem bad either.

On the Desert Island list, it's a very gripping, SUPER tight race between @Cano & @Nessy

My money is on President Trump's finger beating both of them to the red button. j/k

You two know I'm just kidding.

On topic-topic: I always complain about how horrible GreenLight build quality are these days. I was going to buy the Blues Brothers hitch & tow set this evening, and while they had three in stock at my local Toys R Us, one had loose rear bumper, one had tilted gigantic bullhorn on the roof of the Monaco, last one had deformed tire on the flatbed trailer. I usually joke that 50% of GreenLight I come across are defective, or has poor detailing, but on this particular hitch & tow set, it was 3 out of 3! At least their consistency's up. :dopey:

It reminds me of VW Diorama set I wanted to buy back in November. They also had three of those..... Notice anything out of place?

Same Toys R Us, 3 for 3 again. Damn shame, as I really wanted to get this one.

I have exclusively reserved all rights to the apocalypse, upon completion of a certain TLV custom, or submission of a top 10 (desert island) selection of my favourite 1:64 diecast. :D

Holy hell, I totally forgot that you and @Cano never finished your top ten lists.👍

Just a pity that's it's the wrong type of consistency.

Dunno who these Tarmac guys are, so I can't really say, Canadian Andy-san. Although seeing the likes of the Spoon EG Civic rendered in a smaller scale serves as an interesting idea...

Tarmac Works. They do mostly 1/43s and Japanese cars.

Fair enough, thanks for clarifying that. But I still can't say I know many models which they made, so I suppose they are one of those under-the-radar 1/43 JDM-focused brands.

What I can see in the company website is that most of the 1/64 preorders have already sold out, leaving only a handful of Gr. A plain color models and a Castrol one that was apparently driven by James Thompson... Interesting.

Just realized that the Beetle from the diorama in the middle's also missing the surfboard. Jebus GreenLight.

I've had some on preorder for months.
You guys are WAY ahead of us for 2017 so far. Got a better pic of the black Charger top left?
It is back to the ice age in my neighborhood. I hope I can find that Falken Toyota truck. Even with those hideous wheels. Ford truck's nearly perfect.

Mine has a dump bin full of months old mainlines, Ghostbusters and Star Wars cars. Months old mainlines on the pegs, stuffed full.

I have one Walmart in my area & it's identical to what you are describing. As for premiums, they are just about "dead stock" Johnny Lightnings, M2s & some garbage hot wheels that no adults or kids want. Whoever is doing the ordering just has horrid taste in these cars & insists on keep ordering premium cars that nobody wants.

As for other stores, they just cooled on hot wheels. They all have old cars & I'm not even sure if any of the stores got the Yellow Submarine, which was a must-have for me. I check often, so I know I'm not paranoid suspecting store employees/scalpers. It's as though those things never even hit the pegs/bins.

That's how it goes here. Never saw the Trucks (still looking for the Datsun 620), never saw a single Japan Historics, etc, etc. I searched on eBay for Hot Wheels listed in my area and didn't really see anything new or worth having, so whoever is taking them is hoarding them all or selling them some other way.

I did go to a Target today to pick up an exclusive Funko POP figure and while I was there they were stocking the toys. The mainlines were overflowing but a case or two old, but they did put out a fresh box of the Redliners premium cars so I picked up a couple of the Cougars (one for me, one for my dad) and a Bel Air Gasser.

Speaking of Gassers, was curious how much that old Nova Gasser was going for and saw that it's around $130 on eBay. Yikes.

Yeah, I saw how much the RLC Nova Gasser's were going for few weeks ago. :embarrassed:

I keep checking the Datsun 620 from Trucks for you, but you know how it is. Even if I find couple of pegs stuffed with them, no Datsuns. I found two when I got mine(waaaay out of town, pure luck), but if I were to offer one of mine, it'd be the opened one & it's got couple of blemishes, so I'm sure you wouldn't want that.

Bel Air is a big win. It's all over TTP now & I'd imagine eBay as well. :grumpy: We've yet to see too many of those yet in my area, I think I saw them once & it was one or two left over crap.

That is indeed a cool looking Charger I wouldn't mind grabbing either.

Perhaps even swap out the wheels.
