Did you get the damaged box sale?(crazy discount), or the normal 5% off across the board thing?

Damaged box. They were real cheap and from having bought "japanese used" in the past -collecting stuff from a 20+ year old anime show aint easy- I'm expecting a few nicks in the box, a couple veins and that's it.

I already have it, so I wasn't paying attention to the only TLV Porsche I owned featured in this sale. See how much yellow went for. :embarrassed:

Edit: This is how much I paid.

Damaged box stuff I've bought from them in the past had very little damage. For the killer prices they were offering, we don't really care about the boxes. :D:tup:

The TLV's I'm having trouble with now are the Hino car transporters. Prices have gone beyond stupid in such a short amount of time, and I never bought any when they were new.

Found Ecto-1 in the wild for the first time. So excited.

So I made the decision to fit the 964 with a tea tray spoiler:
Looks SO good. 👍
Oh yeah, that too.
If U.S. had Japanese postage rates, I could ship you all sorts of cars dude.
My beef with GreenLight stuff like this, they are like the worst company at creating roof rails, poles, etc. They come out way too thick.

What price point are you looking for?

If we had the same rates down here. I'd be more than happy send a couple of Biante's your way. :indiff:
Japan's so expensive, I don't understand why their "privatized" postal system is cheaper than USPS(losing billions of tax $$$). Well, at least it helps us out with amiami & Japan Booster purchases.
Never been much interested in the stand alone trailer but a couple of those are speaking to making out with me. Interested what the final products look like.
What I see when I read this post. GreenLight camper fan #1 right here, Jarroji Goat.

I couldn't quite pull the trigger at 110-120 and now even the most recent release is 140 minimum, while the earlier ones are approaching 200.
Japan Booster just closed this yesterday.

I was the same way when the first one came out. When I saw the MSRP of over $100, I just laughed. Then 2, 3 years later, I actually got interested, but still disliked the green(first release), didn't care for second one either(blue/tan). Third one is "Honda Express", so definitely didn't want to go that route, though I actually thought the color/livery was okay.

By the time I came to the decision I no longer could wait for TLV to release another Transporter, the first green truck had grown on me. I actually paid $235 for mine(thought it was $225, PayPal exchange rates bumped it up to $235). Only problem, it arrived like this:

Store I bought it from opted to give me partial refund, rather than going through postal insurance for some reason. I didn't mind, because I could just super glue the bumper back on fairly easily(you know I love gluing parts to TLVs anyhow lol). They gave me back roughly $107, so with the exchange rates, I can't remember what it ended up finally being, but I think it was bit over $120.

These Transporter seems to be dropping quite a bit in value. An year or two ago, it was normal to see them close at over $200. Lately, they don't seem to come close to that in eBay auction listings. I've won one from Japan Booster too(mint this time), and that was only $115.

A broken bumper doesn't look too bad for a truck.

Also, is that other Bread Box for meeeee?

Lastly, finally decided to process the one group shot of the AUTOarts before I sold it:

What?

That's incredible how much value they have lost. Like you said. A year or so ago, you would have been paying close to double that for one. That's a big reason why I jumped on the Honda transporter when it came up for pre-order. Figured it would have been the best chance I'd have to own one.

I gave one away already. I'll check again next time.

I've always liked that casting, but...... headlight tampos. :(

I think it'll rebound? Japan Booster doesn't help itself, because they always do auctions & hotter the item, shorter the period. If they list it for $180 fixed price, I'm certain they'll sellout every single one they put up for sale.
We've already had this discussion in the past. Sorry sad crying Jamojicon. P.S. It is still arguably my favorite paint job.

If there's one thing I like, it's diecast cars. I used to collect them by the truckloads, and still have some of them today.

So, I've been looking to do a wheelswap for while now. What do you guys think?

No, I didn't cheat & just go buy one on eBay. It took me several tries to get it right, but I did it myself with tools I had laying around(stapler, vegetable peeler, etc.).
I know but you're still wrong. :P
If I couldn't read Japanese & was reading it upside down, I may be able to overlook it also. :P
It's even cheaper than what they were going for new on AmiAmi.
Exactly. Nuts.
