One of my two Siku purchases, the other being a large RV. I drive a Linde at work, but this one isn't as advanced as mine. Even so, it's a fantastic model, with working forklift.

I have done illegal activities on the forklift at work. No, I'm not licensed, but some of them were really funny.

*ahem*

My Walmart got the Redliners today. Gassers were all gone. Typical. I did pick these up at Toys R Us.

That's it. I couldn't even find the fantasy casting my nephew wanted. :(
Here's something:
Can you ask them where my Tarmac Civic preorders are? jk :P

Edit: Picked up some toys at the post office today, including Japanese Super NES Classic Edition(JDM name: Nintendo Family Computer) & more relevant to the thread, this:

Something funny happened when I revisited DaBoxtoys today.

I bought nothing since there's nothing new (besides, I still can't get over from the R8 LMS I bought yesterday). Then I found out that Tarmac Works is located at the same building, 6th floor to be precise.

And off I go to that floor.

It turns out, that it's just the office of Tarmac Works, not a shop at all. So embarassed to see those employees staring at me.

And so I exited the building quietly...

Actual CCTV of said event.

It's that easy to enter the office of a scale model company? You'd think they'd put some security around that floor to ensure that non-employees/employers don't get in there with duh greatest of eases...

Although if you managed to enter the office, you could've at least gotten some sweet insider info before exiting with great haste like Snagglepuss. Kakashi-san, I'm disappoint.

Paid a visit to DaBoxtoys.

Man, those black box Tomicas. Next time you're there and you're not poking your nose in strange offices, could you please share the average price of those over there?

Greenlight is including a decal sheet (water slide or sticker type unknown) with this police interceptor so you can customize the squad number. Will be interesting to see if they do more of this in the future.

When they put white numbers in the sheet, the car will be worth it just for the sheet alone. Let me know if they ever do please, you seem to keep up with all this stuff quite well.

Sounds pretty interesting, actually. I don't recall many scale model companies allowing that level of customization in their police cars, to the degree GL is implementing.

Hot Wheels did the same in the redline era, they put a decal sheet with numbers and different designs under the car in each blisterpack:

Tomica did more or less the same in the 70s and 80s, but instead of being random decals you could put on to your consideration, if you bought a racing car, several parts of the livery came in decalsheets you had to put on to complete the look of the car:

More recently, M2 did something similar but only in its Auto Build packages, which have numbers and racing stripes. Sadly, I could not find any pics of the actual decals, but trust me, they're there:

Initially, I thought @Cano got that Tomica 787B & I was ready to break into his house. :D

OMG, you actually had the perfect opportunity to ask about my preorder!! Well, perfect location at least. Manufacturer's upstairs, seller on the ground level.

Thanks a lot, Yabi. One of the suggested video was Bird vs Jordan & it cost me 15 minutes of my life. It was good though. Scottie Pippen is #33, but #1. :P

What a glorious era for NBA.

Walking into Walmart at the moment reminds me of how much I hate this time of year. They leave the shelves/pegs completely empty after the holidays for like 1-2 weeks while they prepare for a full toy area reset. Meanwhile, still waiting on C case stuff...

That's virtually what a lot of stores are like here in Australia. Sometimes up to a couple of months.

And this is talking about any time of the year hah.

I haven't been in my stores since we got the A case I don't want to look to see how low their stock is.

Very nice, thanks for clarifying. 👍

So I suppose Greenlight is picking up an old habit, just not a habit of theirs. Hot Wheels did it first, but did so randomly, Tomica did it as a compliment to actual liveries (and maybe to simplify manufacturing costs), and finally M2 added decals and even stripes to really allow for true customization options... Many different uses for the same idea, really.

May I add, I really like that Tomica 787B. Although from what Bonsai-jiisan is saying, it seems to be a rare and possibly expensively awesome 787B...

The Defender 90 is okay, as well as the Evoque, but other than that I don't think you're missing out on much. Good grabs.

Ha, joke's on you, I know where you live! You live in the United Kingdom, so prepare thyself! I'll find you...

...at some point. :P

Also, good job with the decals, it seems you didn't succumb to sheer anger and just thrash the entire set...

Thanks, I actually did them when I was a kid. I'm glad I didn't mess them up as much as my younger self could have done!
