Thanks, I actually did them when I was a kid. I'm glad I didn't mess them up as much as my younger self could have done!

Putting the stickers in as a kid? Impressive, nothing short of impressive. When we're kids, the last thing we usually have is the patience to do manual work as precise as putting stickers on a small scale model car...

Well I hope ya'll have been doing okay! I just came to say hello. :sly:

I have attached the images as thumbnails, just click/tap them if you want to look at them closer.

Hot Wheels Undersea Adeventure Action Pack. Wanted this one for years and now I finally have it! Always happy to get more of these action packs. :)

Submarine. Yes that is it's real name. All these years I thought it had 5SP's, but much to my surprise it has BW's instead. :dunce: (I never actually read up on it)

The rotor in the back also spins.
image.jpeg

The windshield opens up revealing it's interior. The navigation is it's own separate piece.
image.jpeg

Micro Submarine.
image.jpeg
The fan spins freely if you blow on it, much like the Mega Thrust/Night Burner does. Cool little sub.
image.jpeg

The diver figure. Not sure what the official name is for this one or if it even has one, but it's essentially a diver with all sorts of gear to move through the water. The diver itself is actually metal!

The submarine and the diver actually have screws on them like some of the other action packs I own.

Happy new year everybody and cheers to all the collectors in 2017! :)

Awesome. I did my forklift license on a Linde.

Funny thing about me and a forklift. I am licensed for all types by the way. Anyway, I once got fired from a warehouse job for driving a standup-forklift through a wall and right into my bosses office on the other side. Long story short, I just left it parked in his office till he came in the next morning. Even though it was an accident, oil on the floor which I didn't see, I came in the next morning ready to be fired. He really didn't have much to say except "your fired, get the 🤬 out. I laughed all the way to the bank as I collected my unemployment.

The Kyosho looks really good, lots of detail for such a small model. 👍
And Tomica has their typical charm.... and IMO, they have the best packaging of all mainstream cars at this scale. That box!

Are you new? Hello. :P
Nah. :P

P. S. I want to see the picture of this separate navigation piece!!!
I'll try getting a shot of it soon.

I am tempted to unscrew it since it has screws instead of rivits. Only thing is, I worry I could either strip screws, lose them or not be able to reassemble it properly. However, if I do manage to unscrew it, I'll do the others as well and post pictures of them disassembled. (It's just for show)

I'd like to add that the cars I posted about earlier were not of the typical "throw them in the dump bin, same price as the mainlines" variety, but actually $1.50 each and made in Thailand so the tampo and paint quality is noticeably better.

Me & Spacedog were just talking about you few weeks ago. Hadn't seen you in sometime!

Cool. 👍

I like shows a lot.

I was wondering about that. Some of these special cars can be like $2 in my area. I don't know if I'll pay $2, but I hope we still get them, so I can at least check them out.

Submarine.

Here is a better picture of the subs interior and it's navigation piece. That navigation piece would be great for integration's on other Hot Wheels. (I obviously am not doing that though)

Diver.

The Dixie Chopper lawnmower and the Sojourner Mars Rover from my other action packs I got years ago also have screws on the bottom. I'll post pictures of them up sometime.

Oh really. I haven't really kept up with this thread.

I used to post just about everything I got here. (Hot Wheels wise) Nowadays I only post when I have something interesting I find worth sharing, something you don't see every day. I am still around though. :)

Ah. "Navigation", I was thinking like computer deck. I guess it's sort of like control, but thank you for letting us see it. I was really curious, and after you hear so many times about the Mattel cost cutting by using as few parts as possible, it's cool to see something like this. 👍

You should consider posting everything. I don't know about others, but I'm always checking out what other collectors are finding, even if they are the mainline basics from the local grocery stores. Just my 2 cents. :embarrassed:

Yea, that's what I meant.

You're welcome! Just wait until you see the Sojourner Mars Rover....

I prefer to just to stick to the interesting stuff, especially since some of the newer stuff gets posted all the time.

^^ Left rear wheel looks jacked.

Also, was just going through some old pictures on facebook and found one of my JDM collection I sold. :( *sigh*

Hey Jason, that's pretty awesome. Can you tell me where to find those displays please....thanks. 👍

To be honest, I can't remember. I got mine cheaper because they were "imperfect" but you can hardly tell anything is wrong with them. I'll look around and see if I can figure out where I got them.

Edit: here we go.

Wow, thanks Jason, that's pretty awesome, they even make them for carded displays. Appreciate your time and effort in looking it up for me. I will definitely be making a purchase from there. 👍

Are the cars included?

I saw this at one store today:

Still didn't buy it. It wasn't all bad. They had those Ninja Turtles blind bag things for $1.50! That's 50% off!(de nephews are addicted to those)
I don't always buy 9 packs. But sometimes I have to.
Love the Gasser & Escort. Are they upcoming releases as a single @R1600Turbo ? I'm pretty sure the Escort is.

On a somewhat related note: That yellow R32 Skyline GT-R from the multipack, I saw it in the 3-pack today.

You're welcome! Just wait until you see the Sojourner Mars Rover....
👍
