These CSLs are just sweet castings. I've recently got the one above, makes me think of the Stuck car.

If they can do one vaguely reminiscent of the Calder art car, that would be amazing.

Kyosho Nismo Motul Autech GT-R (#1 Super GT 2016 Rd.1 Okayama Winner)

I really like this model. Much better than the Tomica version, but that is based on the mainline casting. It looks like this was a 2017 Tokyo Auto Salon exclusive. It's not for sale on their website.

The Ebbro 1/18 looks amazing, at YEN30000... I want to avoid going outside 1/64 but they're very tempting.

Only seen pictures of it, not that I could afford a toy like that! He had sold it right before we met, and he's switching cars all the time. He told me a funny story about the car one time: He was driving that car on a roadtrip outof state, in the rain, and it was kicking water everywhere. He probably should've been ticketed for that.

Try googling "cruise Oregon". He & his wife runs it, I took the picture from there.

If that was a five window, it would have been perfect in my book. Still damn awesome though. 👍

He says he should have kept it, but he seems to say that about half the things he flips.

I traded him some mainline car for it, he couldn't care less.

I asked the owner (apparently a Japanese, so I brushed up my Nihongo... ) how he got it. Waited for his response.

EDIT: Turns out to be a special Kyosho set:

And it needs assembly.

UPDATE: Apparently he got it from Yahoo Auctions.

The Supra finally looks a lot better, does not look like a blob anymore.

And the R33, now joins the R32 and R34 as new tools.

(Remember the Initial D R32 Dream Tomica? That R32 is a new cast, y'know?)

PLUS: Toyota C-HR Tomica

I couldn't care less about the C-HR(sorry ), but man, Tomica tracks pwns Hot Wheels. I wish they were still sold in the U.S., because I'd get some for my de nephews. I bought my older nephew a set before(Toys R Us) & it's motorized, works with the Tomy train set that's included in the set. It's the same type of train set I grew up with as a kid. So neat.

I made it myself. These corner type backdrops are popular in HK. There was a company that sold these and I had been trying to track them down, but seem to be long sold out. So, I decided to make one myself.

The textures I got from a website that allows its images to be used in commercial projects. I just put them all together in photoshop. The logos I just stripped the background to make them transparent to blend in with the doors.

The images are then printed and stuck to polystyrene card. I use masking tape to hold each side together.

Some of the assets are not to scale though. The garage doors look ok, but the single door and window look too big. Might have to resize them.

How about the pavement? Is that printed too? I am in the planning stage of new background as we speak(this will be little different), and while I won't be simulating pavement on the base, I want to do one in the near-future. Your background pavement looks very convincing.
