WARNING!!! LONG TEXT!!!
First of all, today's collectors meeting has brought me these good things:
"What's inside that white box, Lukanyon?"
This is a 1971 Datsun Bluebird 510 Wagon. But this isn't just a 1971 Datsun Bluebird 510 Wagon, and I'm gonna explain why.
This year, there was supposed to be the first "Salão Hot Wheels" (Hot Wheels Showroom) in Brazil, an event organized by Mattel itself. 3000 units of this casting were made, and it was going to be sold exclusively at the event. It's got all of the premium treatment: Real Riders, metal base, headlights and taillights details.
Unfortunately, due to some issues, the event was cancelled.
However, one of the most known collectors store in Brazil, Semaan Brinquedos (Semaan Toys) bought the castings, and they were being sold today at the monthly collectors meeting.
R$120 each (around US$36)!
But I think they're worth it.
And what's the best part? I GOT ONE FOR FREE! I took part in a contest where the prize was one unit of the casting, and I won the contest! I'm sooooooo happy!
