I've mentioned this before, but just Japanese stuff goes to L.A. Chinese stuff goes though San Francisco & they are FAST. Go figure.

Today's finds. First AW I've picked up in a long time.

That green is so cool looking. Casting's perfect for it, too.

I went to two Krogers, Target, Walmart & Toys R Us tonight. I was still looking for those Yokai Watch Medal things, but also Retro Entertainment R34 Skyline GT-R. Struck out on both. :(

I did pick these up(also the silver recolor Ford GT):

I didn't buy this, but I took this pic for Spacedawg:

If it was just the camper trailer for half price, I'd have bought it.

Saw a 2014 TLV Nissan GT-R Nismo 'N Attack version' at a store yesterday, and I bought it, even though I already had a normal GT-R. I bought the first TLV non-Nismo GT-R because I thought that the Nismo versions were sold out at that store, and the store would never restock them after I had asked the shopkeeper, and thus I would have to settle with it if I ever wanted a R35 GT-R made by TLV.

Now I don't know if I should feel grateful because I finally got the car I want, or furious because I was (kind of) fooled by the shopkeeper two months ago and spent 20 USD on something that I didn't want so badly in the first place. :ouch:

All I know is that I'll well be flipping a table if I ever see a TLV N-100 Nismo GT-R for sale at a store.

So my Oversteer Mazda MX-5 that I ordered arrived in Phoenix at 1pm on Thursday. So I figure, hey, looks like they have time to get it to the local post office and get it out for delivery on Friday, right? Wrong. It sat there, all day Friday and didn't move because the estimated delivery is Monday. The best part is that I checked the tracking this morning, and it's in Tucson now. WTF. It literally went right past me. Gotta love the USPS.

What's new? Sometimes it's staples even. Employees don't see these things from a collector's POV.
Staples I can understand but tape? That's just plain asinine to me. But I guess at least they made sure to pack in there good. :irked:

That camo'd N Attack GT-R's my favorite.

Checked my tracking just now, as the package left a post office nearby to my post office yesterday at 9am.

Yesterday at 9am.

I went there last night, they still didn't have it. Tracking still shows that it was headed my way at 9am yesterday. They also lost two of my packages at a parcel locker for my p.o.box. Tracking for both packages says it's ready for pickup, but when I asked them at the post office, they can't come up with the packages, and they don't have any explanation for the packages vanishing. :dopey:

Edit: I think they saw me tattling. Payback:

It got as close as few miles from me. Now it's in Nevada. Jesus christ USPS, what are you on?

Mine still says it left a post office in Tucson at 4am this morning and I guess it's out wandering the countryside as there hasn't been an update since then. I'll bet that it pops back up in Phoenix by morning. Maybe next time I'll sit on the side of the highway and flag the truck down.

That camo'd N Attack GT-R's my favorite.
I saw the camo'd one, the grey one and the black one at the store. The different colour didn't justify the extra money they're asking for the grey one to me, and they had 3 of the black ones, so I went with the black one. I don't like the camo'd one, because the camo'd one has chrome wheels, but I've never liked camouflaged model cars anyways.

I also love the attention to detail TLV has on its 1/64 models. One example is the fact that they decided to replicate the sawed rear spoiler which was present on the real car, which I find very admirable. 👍

A pic of the car. More pics to come in, I don't know, a decade?

I forgot that there were other TLV N-Attack GT-Rs. :dunce: According to my old blog post, it's the darker gray one.

And I'm glad you mentioned this model. While I was looking into which N-Attack GT-R I had, I ran into this:

I even saw the thread in the Ruble Strip about how Photobucket was taking away image linking from free/non-premium accounts. Much of my earlier blog posts were using images on Photobucket, so it looks like I have my work cut out.
Until you find yourself spending way too much of your time visiting local stores and walking out empty-handed.
Don't be a party pooper, with, like, real life. jk jk lol lol
Yep, 22 hours after leaving Tucson it's back in Phoenix. Oy. :ouch:
I better track mine, too: It left Reno, Nevada last night at 2am. I wish it told me which stop it was headed to..... :(
