Matchbox GT40 :D, just have to find the dark green version now.

Also is it me or does Matchbox has better details and proportions compared to HW ?

They were really, really good few years ago(IMO, so much better than they are today). Then they turned away from adult collectors & turned to kid's market. I'm not sure what prompted that, or what prompted them back, because they are starting to pay attention to adult collectors again.

Go all Pearl Harbour on the USPS head office. That is beyond fudged.
At least the actual cars themselves were safe. Porsche suffered a damage, but I ended up ordering it again last night from amiami. Also added couple more cars I passed last time around.

Now, if the reorder came in with damages, I would consider restoring a vintage Imperial Japanese Navy a6m zero, but I'd probably screw up on a takeoff & kamikaze into a tree or something like that...

I take back anything mean I've ever said about Greenlight, ever.

Everything? Even the R35s? I bet you a space Aussie dollar you won't. Heck, I'll bet two since I'm feeling so confident...! :P

But it is a cool combination, no doubt. Coke + Boss + matching Coke truck is a sweet (no pun intended) equation...
Hopefully Moffat won't mean Moqquality issues. :sly:

I don't care how. This needs to happen.
@a6m5 do it. Restore thehttp://minicarpics.blogspot.com/2016/12/greenlight-tarmac-works-yokohamaadvan.html?m=1 plane lol
I was looking at maisto diecast planes during lunch today, see if I could find a zero & do a post as a joke.

I didn't want another ramp truck, but I am a sucker for Coke livery....:lol:
My bet is the Mustang won't look that good. :P But we'll see...
Maybe just from the side.

Eww.

.....Well I guess, there's always exceptions.

It's a cool combo for sure. The car itself though, is iconic down here.

I can't find a pic of it with the Mustang, so here's a small pic of F-350 with Moffat's Falcon instead.

Moffat is an arsehole in person anyway. No way I'd be buying it.

Heard a lot of people say that. He was kind enough to sign my reproduction HDT cap a few years ago at Eastern Creek. He seemed nice enough. *shrug*

Well I hope you have a phone with you...

Why? Because I called it!

I'm a real gambler, you know. Only the highest bids when the bet is impossible to lose! :sly:

So the car is pretty much a legend V8 Supercar of sorts? It certainly has the story, what with all the success and Trans Am ties (which surprised me in a good way, didn't expect them to pop up in Aussieland).
Although I do have to question things like Moffat crashing into a dude during the warm-up lap... That's something not even the Jason Plato scale measures!  I guess that's the reason some aren't fans of the man, which is somewhat understandable.

And one more thing; the Brut livery is very interesting...

...I still prefer the Coke livery with the Boss stripes, though.

  • VW SP2 (Retro Style, 2016)

  • Porsche 934 RSR Turbo (Nightburnerz, 2017)
I know everyone's got their fill of the Race Day 935, but it's just too good to not have in one's collection.

Some other various cars I had lying around:

  • BTTF DeLorean (New Models, 2011)
  • Lamborghini Murcielago (Dream Garage, 2009)
  • Twin Mill II (Main-line, 1998) IMO, the Twin Mill II is the best looking of the Twin Mill series.
  • Nissan R34 GTR (New Models, 2010)

Nice grab on that R34. Keep that in good condition as that is still worth good moolah.

Come to think of it, I imagine one could take those Fast and Furious R34s, delete the blue tampos and market it as a 2010 First Editions. A newbie couldn't tell the difference. Jeez I am smart.

Take note, GTP lurkers. 👍 👍 👍 :sly:

What makes the 2010 R34 so desirable? Is there something special about them compared to other Hot Wheels R34s?

That's the best way to gamble.👍
Trans Am ties (which surprised me in a good way, didn't expect them to pop up in Aussieland).

Yeah, it would have been cool enough if someone had thrown that Mustang together in their backyard but it being a full Kar-Kaft built Trans Am car, makes it all that much better. Also, it's funny to think that one of the most famous Aussie racing cars is American and one of our most iconic drivers is Canadian.

I can't recall having ever seen that picture before. Madness.

Totally. 👍

It's one of those "oh yeah? cool.....- come 4 years later - omg it's an R34, I NEED TO HAVE THEM ALL" kind of deal. I will most likely say it's due to the Fast & Furious series, Zamac and the fact it showed up out of nowhere in 2013 when it hadn't been released in 2011, nor 2012. The reappearance may have just triggered enough hype from new crowds and cough Lamley cough bloggers and the like.

That same deal is kind of happening with the 2017 release of the McLaren F1 GTR, the previous release being dated back to 2011. Imagine what it's like for new collectors who think this 2017 one is the first of its kind and later found out there's like 6 other ones they didn't know about.

And now you know why I'm so unlucky in lotteries and scratchcards... Agressive gambling represent! :dunce:

Nah, it makes perfect sense. At first one might think it's strange that a legendary Australian touring car is in fact an American-built Ford Mustang driven by @AOS-'s grandpa a Canadian, but then you realize you're talking about Australia. Flip the logic upside down and it's suddenly sound logic! Naw wha I mean, mate? :sly:

Yes, "madness", that's a good way to describe it. I mean there's being an agressive driver and then there's wrecking your rival before the race even starts... That's a teeny bit overkill if you ask me.
