I even saw the thread in the Ruble Strip about how Photobucket was taking away image linking from free/non-premium accounts. Much of my earlier blog posts were using images on Photobucket, so it looks like I have my work cut out.

Early on, Andy. Early on. I wasn't even really thinking like a blogger, I was experimenting, fooling around. Then just when I started to get active on blogger, I decided to utilize the photos I already had on Photobucket to post on GTPlanet by just linking them to my blog posts. Seemed like a good idea at the time.

I counted & there are nearly 150 posts I have to re-attach the photos somehow. It'll be one big pain in the butt, but I'm not going to pay Photobucket. They weren't that good when they were free.

I know, and it was also the truth. Sooner than later, I'm going to have to really tightly focus my collection & regroup by selling off much of the collection. It'll be hard!

I got some fine grade gray mix rocks for my diorama. It looks much better than the previous medium grade. If I remember correctly someone here mentioned the gray mix but I cant remember who it could've been, so if it was you thank you.

TLV have released so many R35's now, it's just become one big blur.

Looking good. I actually like the stuff in the rear though. Is that the same stuff from the last time? Ideally, I might choose something between the finer gray & bigger one's in the back.

It is the same stuff which is medium grade. They only made fine, medium and coarse. Coarse is plain just too big for 1:64.

Just curious, but have you tried mixing the fine & medium?(fine's at the front of the car?) I wonder how it would look.

I almost added the orange GT-R to this months order but I decided to go with a couple of Sparks instead, before they sold out.

Thanks. Good news is even if I don't use all of the stuff or any of the other options I can still use them for other stuff. It was made for model railroad layouts and I have been wanting to build one for a long time.

Good news first. I think I received two packages my post office lost couple of weeks ago. Also, my amiami package that was shipped to wrong city in California, then wrong state(Nevada), arrived today also!

I go to the post office counter with the notice card that my package was in, lady at the counter goes back to look, comes back empty handed(this lady does this to me from time to time). I show her my phone where tracking says "ready for pickup". She goes back to check, same thing. I show her again, she writes down the tracking number, still can't find it. Few minutes later, voila! Package was mis-sorted, she wrote down wrong tracking number, blah, blah, but here's your package. Thank you!

That's just crap man, I mean who hell thrashes the boxes without a care? Absolutely disgraceful. I'd be livid if my items came like that.

I took a look at the box & I think it was smashed with something heavy, maybe ran over with pallet jack, or cart. Luckily, I just checked amiami & they had the yellow/black Porsche, also Nissans still available, so I took the Porsche, + #22 & 23 Nissans, if just for the display cases.

I was going to recommend somebody go after the yellow/black Porsche, too, but it looks like I took the last one.

Just looking at the crushed TLV box is tear inducing.

Have you had a chance to check if the Spark models have any damage? Really only concerned about the Porsche, with all the broken plastic around it.

Definitely seems lacking in detail. Kind of wish another brand got a hold of the FT-1 instead of Jada.

I checked them, and miraculously almost all of them escaped damage on the cars themselves. Unfortunately, that blue/white Porsche, that one did suffer a very small scratch. That took the hardest hit, then all the broken pieces of plastics were bouncing around on top of the car, so one small scratch, yeah, I'll take it. All three Spark cases were cracked or worse. Autech Skyline, that took all the damage on the bottom side of the car, so as bad as that Tomica box looked, thanks to TLV's generous(& high quality) blister, it survived. Those Skylines(R33) looks AMAZING by the way. I am in love with them, especially the police car.

So they're going to pay for that, right? I would be livid.

Last claim I did, amiami paid for it, so I wasn't going to have them go through the trouble? But come to think of it, that one was missing shift knob on the 1/18 AUTOart Ford GT. If I could make USPS make this right, yeah, I would pursue this.

That's what I was telling Jarrod. It's more handling, loading, transporting, getting thrown around, etc. They soaked my Classic Edition Nintendo last year in the rain, too. Enough to ruin the Nintendo box inside with water. Lost two of my packages last month, they just shrugged at me when I showed them tracking results. I'm not a fan of USPS right now.

I opened it at the lobby, then went back inside to the counter. If, just to make a point, showed them the contents, they gave me a number to call for claims. Since I don't want to give up any of the cars, I might not file a claim, but I'll look into it.
