Just got the newest Auto World 2017 Mustangs in the mail (these are the ones with the new headlight details - attn @a6m5 ) and I was supposed to get that new Le Mans inspired GT40 with them. However, even though I put it in my cart, requested a total from the seller that makes you commit to the purchase, he messages me 2 days later to tell me the GT40's are sold out. WTF dude.

That is so lame.

Are the new headlights any better? Pictures!!

Edit: This is hilarious.

Because of the price tag? It happens like that sometimes. Those are really sharp looking castings considering the price($3). Too bad they don't use resin/plastic lenses(I know, I know).

It looks good in the picture, but for me, they still remind me of Matchbox, or Maisto to be honest. Definitely looks to be an upgrade though. 👍

That Camaro has been discontinued though. Old Hot Wheels may have price tag of $1, but once they become hard to find, or no longer available in retail, I really don't read too much into what the original price tag said. *shrug*

Like I said, I do think it's an improvement over the last version. I just think this technique have limitations.

To me the scale looks off. Like, if there is enough room for a car to sit between the pumps and the building, that would make the store entrance door way too big.

First impression I got was how those pumps have just enough area to pump gas for bicycles. Those bay door proportions also seems off, at least to me.

For me, this is better design, but they screwed up with the doors. Better off leaving the door out, like with Tomicarama IMO. As I mentioned before, I think the removable walls are innovation over something like Tomicarama though.

Oh I feel you. It's like when a toddler continually does something just for the attention and succeeds, so they keep doing it over and over again. When I was in Toys R Us there were about 20 single car and Hitch and Tow sets total and well over half of them had the Gulf livery with only two different instances of repeats. Anymore and I'd be color blind to anything that wasn't the Gulf livery.

I hadn't hit up my local Asda in weeks because their stocks were poor, but I popped in tonight for shopping and was pretty bowled over to see the white GT LM and the MBX 6x6. I was actually in awe to see the Forza cars. Picked up the Focus RS, the AMC and the P1. Nice effort compared to the entertainment line ones.

Today, I found zero cars as usual. I come home, check amiami for couple or preorders I've been really wanting to set. I checked every #$** day, they came up for preorder today & are both already sold out. One of them was the Circuit Wolf Lotus Europa by Tomica.
