I like everything about this car except the tail lights.
I like you..... but you crazy.
If you wanna chip in to pay for that (it pretty much being commission...) I'd be down.
You definitely crazy.
If I get this though, would I let go of the 3 Seibus?
You know, compared to this Ignition, TLVs look like clay models shaped by monkeys. Maybe I just like lowered cars, I don't know.

I immediately put it back on the shelf.

If I'm going to spend around 20 USD for a detailed 1:64, an air intake as a STICKER is not acceptable in my book.

This is why I still don't trust Tarmac models.

If I give you my Seibu set if you get me this, would you do it?
I already have two!!

Actually, they don't look bad at all! Thanks for making me hunt for the pictures, too. Yet another post that had lost pics due to Photobuket sucking!

Which part got stickered?(sorry, ignorant on race cars &... in general)

Even HW/Matchbox can paint an air intake as black.
Ah, I thought that was the spot. It's little blurry in your shot Kakashi!

I totally agree with you on that one. For me, it's more the quality of the tampo/decal. I think it looks poorly designed. To be fair though, I almost wonder if Audi charges higher fee for licensing or something? Leading to more cost cutting? Just wondering out loud, because it sure does take away from the overall look of the diecast. Thanks for pointing it out. 👍

^^ Yeah I paid $30 for 1:64s that have a sticker for grills. That's quite the let down. Even Mattel can afford to punch some holes in their castings.

Welp- No 1:18 pics for you then :)

I picked these and a few others up at Toysrus yesterday during lunch.

I was surprised they had a lot of the Huayras and about 6 of the Skylines, but I got the only one they had that had decent looking tampos. Normally I avoid this Toysrus since its not close to my house and its popular with scalpers, but I decide to go there since a friend of mine lives really close by and I had some time to kill since she didn't answer her door when I stopped to visit her.

I also go this a couple days ago as an early birthday present from my mom.

Really want that R35, McLaren F1 & Mazda pickup.

Yeah, but weren't you referring to the main grille? It looks damn good!

I'm pretty sure I've never seen a preorder on a Green Machine.👍

No neither have I. Was just able to order too, makes up for missing out on the Lancer. :D:tup:

Fingers crossed they come through on the order.

Edit: It's disappeared from my August order. Oh well, easy come, easy go.

I wouldn't mind so much, if it actually looked halfway decent. Looks like something you'd find on a cheap Chinese knockoff model, at a market. Very disappointing.

I own the same model (yes, I made the dive), and personally I'm not too bothered by the sticker intake, because I think the metal transfers and the detailed Michelin prints on the tyres make up for it. In fact, I think they did pretty well for this model.

But then I could be biased, as I like the livery, and I watch the Nurburgring 24 Hours, so to each his own. :)

With that said, however, it was difficult to find one which looked perfect, and they can definitely do better in quality control.

Yeah, that's a bit stupid if I'm honest. I want to make sure I get a quality product when paying such amount. Put simply, it's cutting corners.

Wal-Mart had some great stuff yesterday.

Three different ZAMAC variants were a pleasant surprise. These are the first ZAMACs I've found, so I was pretty happy to pick them up.

These other two were icing on the cake.

Also, I need one of these in my collection at some point:

Three, you mean. The Nissan service one in February, will be my fourth. :P

:embarrassed:
You pwn'd me so much. I lost this battle to your fleet of minivans, without a doubt. :(

I like that zamac Focus. Not enough to buy online, at least not yet.

I think I have that, but I didn't realize how much it's risen in value. :embarrassed:

I'm not even sure if it was on a card, in a box, or beat up & loose. That's long time ago!

I like it, too. I wonder if I picked one up for my de nephews, then I can steal it. It is cool. I'm going to have check out this $TH version now.

I tried to find the Mercury Sable by Matchbox, but it looks like either I already sold it, or put it away in the wrong box. I couldn't find it with the Matchbox, but found couple of cars I didn't even recognize, but nice!

Some Mazda RX-7 race car.

This is my favorite type of Matchbox. 2000's + it's Europa!

The fleet could grown even bigger yet. I'm rather tempted by the white and silver ones too!
Oh my god, there's more!?
Also don't know if you saw this crown van? I grabbed it to go with the Nissan service Prairie for February.
They already have February preorder!? I might have to do the Crown. I am a fan of that casting.

Of course you wouldn't.👍
I'm filled with high quality traits, like shelf-restaurant, dcplan self-restraint, discipline, etc. I can even spell them easily, because I'm 100% full of them. You should learn from me.
I'm still on the fence about that one. It's nice but I don't know.
It's funny, because that color totally reminds me of this car. And I think this is the only post in my blog where I went head-to-head with another collector & his model.
Green is a January release. You can have both!
Tomytec sales associate of the month!
