I found this error, the one I mentioned the other day looked like the riveting tool missed the proper spot and shot through the front wheel.

Not too bad of a Volvo.

Oh yeah that's right, those do in fact exist. Forgot about those. If I can find them that's probably what I'll use unless someone else has a different idea that I like better. Thanks! 👍

It's not the best, but only thing I've found so far & used for last 2, 3 years. Those thread holding cases that everybody use(as do I), they are limited to cars with somewhat standard length, height, or width. While not remotely the prettiest or most efficient, this case can handle extreme width or height, in addition to the obvious room it has for longer castings.

As you can see in one of the pics, sometimes I am forced to store the cars laying on its bottom, or side to clear enough space.

I'm familiar with the room issue. There's two types of tackle boxes I'll use, a different size Flambeau case like you have in your pics and some cheaper off brand ones. The latches on the Flambeau cases are indented which takes away just enough room for most cars to comfortably fit, but the latches on the cheaper cases aren't and every compartment can be the same size. I've used the thread cases before and I still would, but I can't find them in stores anymore these days and I've looked everywhere but Hobby Lobby since there's none in my area.

Those thread cases are absolutely awesome with standard size castings, but I doubt they'll work with most of Hitch & Tow sets, if at all. In my area, I saw them for the first time at Fred Meyer(our Kroger chain), but they were still bit more than what I would've paid with Walmart online.

I definitely could use some of them if I could find them somewhere. The store that I buy the tackle boxes from rarely has them and it's at least a 30 minute trip to the next closest store that sells the specific case I buy. Not to mention they'd definitely come in handy for my toolbox for fuses, fasteners and other such things.

Hopefully Majorette reconsiders their packaging, considering that their scale models are obviously larger than 1:64...

I bought the Mitsubishi VGT, but I had to adjust that poor mangled rear wing.

And then some oddity I found as well:

Apparently the Aventador SV Roadster is a high performance off-roader.

They're out!

Ooh, I wonder when AmiAmi will get them in? I'm starting to regret ordering the Dream Tomica Circuit Wolf Lotus, only because it isn't scheduled to be released until "mid September". Hopefully it doesn't hold the order up for too long. I want my 787b and Flatbed, NAO!!!

Mainline Tomica's should be next week.

Some purchases of the day.

Akado Custom Tomica Singha Honda Civic Type R Black Gold

Special edition of the Singha with a price tag to match. This cost more than the rest of this post combined. There's a Black Platinum version which costs even more...

Onto the TLVs of the month.

Not much love for these with the two big TLV releases of the month. Had to buy these as I had bought the other Gazelle from last month.

Love these loaders. Silver is a nice colour.

And finally. Well, after all the hype, this is a little disappointing. Cheap looking plastic side mirrors, plastic rear spoiler, DIY aerials. Not good. And the paintwork is glossy in some parts and matte in others. Very inconsistent. I actually expected better for HKD350.

Thanks. But that was just the same 'ol two year-old white cartolina background with added red gradients from Photoshop.
I figured as much, but it really works well with that car. 👍

Great write up on the 787B. 👍
I can imagine wheel swaps happening.
I want this so bad, but stores in my area keeps filling with trash nobody buys. :yuck:

I don't understand that ugly windshield header on the Silvia droptop. Neither the Japanese or USA cars had one. Must be for ease of toy manufacturing.

Got to say that the front wheels don't look particularly great either. :indiff:

Atlas looks awesome in silver. 👍

I'm a little angry right now. I just had to uncard this 90s First Edition 333SP because I dropped it and ended up stepping on the blister when I took a step back to find out where it landed.

If it makes you feel better, these 333SP aren't worth a lot anyway.

I've seen a lot of people make TE37s by trimming down Matchbox truck wheels, as well as making their own casts. Or of course, you could just buy new cars to save yourself the work and/or special orders.

One of the stores nearby my home released a preorder for Tarmac's 1:64 Aventador SV. And I can already see one fault.

Rear wing too tall. I wonder if they still have those easily peeled liveries.
