Heads up to anyone collecting the HW Honda CRX, new one in a 5-pack. (doesn't look bad either)

Not bad as in quality. Bad as in you can barely see the cars. Proper marketing is close up, well lit, detailed photos. That makes these ones horrible.

These are photos from the MiniGT HK facebook page, which I think is managed by the HK distributor (Tiny). You won’t see these photos on the global MiniGT Facebook page. Also the car is a HK exclusive since TSM is based in HK.

But I do agree maybe TSM themselves should have marketed it better.

I’ll be going to see these after work, so I’ll take some super duper photos with my iPhone!

2018 Hot Trucks Datsun 620. Highlights & shadows came out super well in this shot.

Posting this as I believe at least one of these is a chase piece. Can anyone confirm and/or provide additional info?

The car on top has gold trim, interior, rims and chassis and is limited to 3000 pieces. The one on the bottom has chrome window trim and rims and black interior and chassis. This one is limited to 6000 pieces.

Went to the toy show yesterday and took some photos. Maybe I should have taken that bazooka with me as the iPhone was totally inadequate. I was left feeling really disappointed with what was there. Basically the display booth was to promote Tiny products, and they had loads on show. In just one glass cabinet was the TSM stuff. No in your face promotion of what should be the next disruption in 1/64 diecast. No fanfare whatsoever. Did order the HK exclusive but won't be released until Q218!! And no prototype to look at either.

This was clearly zero attention by TSM, and all arranged by the distributor. I am speculating whether Tiny (who make diecasts themselves) is just using the TSM name to get a foothold in the international diecast market.

Anyway photos:

They had a MiniGT64 catalog, which revealed more than the show. https://domalorite.blogspot.com/2017/12/tsm-minigt64-catalog.html

Some interesting stuff of notice:

Two US exclusive Liberty Walk models!

Quoting an image of yours:

Is this now a Tiny x TSM thing?

I really get the feeling it’s a Tiny thing. Using the TSM name to push MiniGT64 to international markets. Tiny is pretty big in HK, but their cars are solely for the HK market. I don’t think they have any presence overseas at all.

That’s just me talking trash of course so don’t quote me
