They have my attention...
Same.
Honestly I'm still not overly interested in either the GTR or 86. But man, they look extremely impressive.
They have my attention...
Ya guys should just get on Facebook.....
1/64 launch is focused on the international market at this time
On the flip side, they did state that while this 1/64 launch is focused on the international market at this time, they plan on releasing vintage cars, eventually.
Hopefully something other than Hakos, 510s, or 240s. Those have been done to death.
If they go with the flow, they could be making solid money without having to risk not making sales.....
That is of course if they make their castings look better than M2 and Greenlight and whoever else.
Well said. 👍Understandable, but also ironic at the same time.
Normally, I would agree with this logic. With ignition model however, I love their Skylines & Zs. I want them I want them I want them! XDHopefully something other than Hakos, 510s, or 240s. Those have been done to death.
M2 might come close, but they are really rough around the edges IMO. Not really worried about GreenLight. I'm still trying to figure out WTF they were thinking with this one. That is of course if they make their castings look better than M2 and Greenlight and whoever else.
I'm hardly rolling in resources but anyway...Damn look at you rollin' in resources.
If you're going to do laser-cutting, you can definitely take huge advantages of the time-consuming/difficult work it would be to do certain complex parts.
Interestingly enough, these images popped up on the Tarmac Works Instagram page... They're only distributing the cars, right?Oh em gee.
Sharp clean edges, rivets, actually holes in the grills, clean-cut spokes, tire treads. Material looks a lot lighter in a mix of metals. May serve to create thinner, finer, and sharper castings.

Guys, it might be time to lose your poop:
Announcements to be made on the 8th. I'll keep us posted.
If they're 40 bucks a pop, I'm not interested.
Unsure what TLV base prices are generally like these da
I think specialized models go higher though. Really rough estimate at this point, but I think IG 1/64 cars would be comparable to something between Crazy Ken/Snake Motors at the lowest pricing, and maybe as high as something like those rally 510/Bluebird cars.Just going off the prices on AmiAmi. Cheapest TLV's are 1700-1800 yen now.

Having said that, IG's initial announcement I think stated the MSRP at the $24.

Pocket Cars of course are the Tomica exported to I believe North America?
Won't see those ones either...M2 . Feb releases:
Tiny Bricks are $1.50 each?
Sweet Baby JesusThanks Andy & Jarrod for the heads up & latest info. I just updated my blog post on this ignition to 1/64 scale thing, but on the ignition model's own blog, in Japanese, they made it sound like they are't too sure about that launch window(from Facebook live vid: May 2018 release) or the MSRP($24). On the flip side, they did state that while this 1/64 launch is focused on the international market at this time, they plan on releasing vintage cars, eventually.
