On my blog, I had to break them into two parts(too many pics):

I'm quite impressed with them. With their first batch of releases, IMO, they already are one of the best in detailing & craftsmanship in 1/64 scale, if not the best. I'm thinking the latter.
But they have to be the right size nuts.
It's such a cool idea, but seems useless because of this. Still, it had to be done.
Another perfectly stickered car from Inno.
XD I hope to get my hands on that Idemitsu one soon.

Do they roll better than Tarmac? Also there seems to be a flaw on the front bumper.

No rolling. For display only. I see the flaw. Has a big smirk on its face

@domalorite, are they not tampos though?

Maybe 98.24% water slide decals. The odd lettering *might* be tampon printing. With these complex liveries and at these price points they no way can do full on tampon printing.

Top 10 diecast photo ever. Your thoughts match mine. They truely are amazing. So not flipping them now I guess? :)

I'm not seeing the edges of the what would be a clear indication of decals.

In that Tarmac video I shared a while ago, there was a combination of tampon and decals being applied to their sample model.

I’ll take some photos of light reflecting off the sticker edges. The roof and bonnet numbers and wordings sticker edges are visible to the naked eye. Sides of the car have been very well applied with little or no misalignments, so hard to spot the decal edges.

Mixture of tampon and stickers seem to be a compromise to keep production costs down.

As I mentioned earlier, I got some pics of the Attack Beast disassembled and it's definitely worth taking note of. ;) Like the Mars Rover, Dixie Chopper and Submarine action packs I have, this one also has screws on the bottom instead of rivets. Not sure why some of the action pack vehicles have them, but it's neat that they do! :dopey:

So here it is with the base and the body separated without the interior. Body is plastic and the base is metal.
IMG_2758[1].JPG
The interior and the brush guard are all one piece. It may not seem like much to look at right now, but here's the interesting part....
IMG_2759[1].JPG
IMG_2760[1].JPG
The base has no prongs to hold the axles in! The body has some parts on it that hold them down instead, but once the body is detached, they literally just fall right out!
IMG_2761[1].JPG
So what that means is all you would have to do is unscrew it, pull the body off, swap the wheels and axles with something that fits and reassemble! It's quite possibly one of the easiest wheel swaps you will ever do!

As far as wheel swaps go however, I won't be taking this one a part again since the front screw was fairly stripped when my brother got it and it won't take much before it's totally useless. I do however plan on getting one of my own to do this eventually and i'll post pics when I do. As of recently, I am thinking about getting the Dante though, wanted that casting for years now and hopefully I will get it soon.

Awww.... stahp it. :embarrassed: I'm the worst photographer I know, because lazy(plus semi-point&shoot camera lol). Thanks!

Tarmac Works one is a keeper. I had decided to keep the black one as well, and I still would, but I think I'll list it on eBay. Just to draw potential buyers to other stuff I have on there. :P
Well hello there.
So unlike the outdated stuff I find on the pegs.

Would hardware store or somebody carry a screw like that?

If it wasn't for the ludicrous pricing I'd be all over these...

Which is why I've been grumbling about this ridiculous "999pcs" per color. That's just short of 3,000 releases in this first wave of Pandems GT-Rs(don't have the white one), and it's the secondary market pricing reflecting the market demand.

I paid about $30 each(shipped), and I think they got the pricing right, based just on the quality alone.

On the bright side, the chance of this depreciating is much lower than some of their 1/18s.

But wait, that might not be though. These depreciating ones I'm thinking of were produces only at most 240 pieces.

But then again, no one wanted NA Miatas oddly enough. Maybe it was because it wasn't decked out in Pandem branding and riveted fenders.

I wouldn't overanalyze this one. 1/64 market & 1/18 market couldn't be more different, even when done by same manufacturer. If anything, 1/64 demand was even higher, because IMO, while IG 1/64 certainly picked up demand from your run of the mill1/64 collectors, some existing IG fans ended up jumping on the bandwagon, too.

As @a6m5 mentioned apples and bananas. 1/64 is a completely different market. It’s much much bigger. I see quantity as being a big factor in scale models. Single and double digit production runs tend to be the allure.

In the 1:64 market you could produce 10000 of these IGs and they would still sell out at that price. Just notice those highly valued Hot Wheels with production runs in their thousands going for 4-5x the retail price (e.g. pink Datsun 510).

The resale market for 1/64 versus other scales shouldn’t really be compared.

But the price point is already high, so they're selling a product with a glaring issue (the waterslide decals) at a higher price than their competitors with the same issue (which, let's say are Tarmac and Spark who both use waterslide decals as well). I can't say if the INNO cars are better than those since I don't own any, but I'd like to see them either go all out and do full printing or cut down on costs to be more comparable to the competition instead of this half and half approach.

Do Bugzees use waterslide or tampo printing?

higher price than their competitors

Inno is actually cheaper here than Tarmac. I don’t follow Spark but I think they are similar price also.

I would be happy to pay more (double and more) if any manufacturer were to produce high quality accurate diecasts with full tampon printing.

I bought customised Tomica’s because those small bespoke companies are willing to add tampon printing. The only let down is their continuous use of the mainline Tomica Honda Civic FK2 casting.

I long for Tomica to produce new castings like the D1 drift series again.

Oh, that actually makes a lot more sense then. I suppose even for myself Tarmac and INNO are closer in price than I first thought. But then again I don't think Tarmac is worth the price most of the time either. Spark certainly are cheaper though (in my case) and are becoming one of my favourite manufacturers lately. Even with the waterslide decals.

Bugzees uses Tampons IIRC.
Worst example:

*Replaced with larger picture. Earlier one I uploaded on my phone & didn't realize how tiny it was. :dunce:

Chase car Camaro would be a good pick....

Passed this up many times before the prices got insane. Finally found one that was (relatively) reasonable. Unfortunately there are two versions, so I’m only 50% there.

EDIT: Also has the tacky tires that affect older TLV’s as the plasticizer leaches out. Makes me wonder if a lot of them will be totally ruined in another 10 years.

If you're that crazy about fire trucks, I have 8 that are looking for a new home.

Well, the offer came in less than 60 minues anyway. Countach is really cool. Got nice chuck of change for these jewels.

Found this one in my collection the other day & I did't even know I had one. :dopey: I used to have one, sold it & sent it to Taiwan & I remembered that. Now that you've brought it up, I looked up my records & it turns out I snipered another one on eBay & picked that one up, along with white/blue Hino(lv-n44b), both for really cheap. Unfortunately, I do recall now that tire thing that you are talking about. I don't remember if it was just one of the Hinos, or both from this purchase. It's weird, because I've yet to see that from any TLVs from my collection. Over the weekend, I took pictures of one of my very first three TLVs. No tires problems. :odd:
Quickly trying out something else. Skyline 2000 GT-R Racing from Kyosho
Nice. In the beginning, I only liked the green striped one, so that was the only one I bought. Other color stripes has grown on me since. 👍

I think he's just crazy about TLVs.

Hot Wheels 2018 50th Anniversary Black and Gold Series 1/6 Bone Shaker
Hot Wheels 2018 50th Anniversary Black and Gold Series 2/6 Twin Mill
Hot Wheels 2018 50th Anniversary Black and Gold Series 3/6 Rodger Dodger
Hot Wheels 2018 50th Anniversary Black and Gold Series 4/6 '68 Dodge Dart
Hot Wheels 2018 50th Anniversary Black and Gold Series 5/6 '64 Impala
Hot Wheels 2018 50th Anniversary Black and Gold Series 6/6 '65 Ford Ranchero
Hot Wheels 2018 50th Anniversary Black and Gold Series '67 Camaro

I had a friend from Singapore able to get me this set at retail price! My personal favourite is the Bone Shaker and then the Ford Ranchero. I'm not fond of the plastic body Camaro. The casting can't save that one, as well being overpriced in the secondary market.
