They can’t seem to decide what it is. Base Challengers had a flat hood. The Challenger Rallye had front fender scoops. The two features were not found together on the same model.

Yep, the TLV whacks Greenlight out of the park.Picked up the Greenlight BRE 510 Datsun. Here it is with a TLV 1600 SSS Datsun for comparison:

IMO, Greenlight knocked it out of the part with this release. Better than the stubby Hot Wheels 510. Obviously doesn't compare to a TLV, but it is miles above the 510s released by M2. Seeing the GL BRE 510 up close makes the debacle of the 240Z even more jarring; almost as if created and designed by two separate diecase companies. Greenlight is releasing future 240Zs with a lowered chassis, so we shall see if that improves the casting.
Going by today's MSRPs though, it's probably around $16 for TLV to $6 for GreenLight though, give or take.Yep, the TLV whacks Greenlight out of the park.

Looks like they simply swapped a flat hood onto their previous Rallye casting. The hood is correct here:

Am I missing something? The new AW 1973 Challenger isn't billed as a Rallye...
Duh, going by brand name and price point only there's no surprise.Yep, the TLV whacks Greenlight out of the park.
Yes it's a hefty premium but my god are they worth it. I love my TLV's, even though I just have 4 of them!Going by today's MSRPs though, it's probably around $16 for TLV to $6 for GreenLight though, give or take.
Same. They do lot of stuff right!Yes it's a hefty premium but my god are they worth it. I love my TLV's, even though I just have 4 of them!

You know it. *makes fist*Sparkly paint especially, right?
You noob, there was Wonder Woman Invisible Jet in there!!Crazy Classics5Pack. Well, 4 pack technically. This one was missing one when he bought it, so he got a discount on it.

You know the deal; Once you open it, no resale value.
That's a good one.
It was already opened when my brother found it, so who cares? You know the deal; Once you open it, no resale value.
I hear you, and I think you already understand this, but just as how it makes sense to play with, or display the darn things, it would make perfect sense for someone to preserve the collectibles in untouched condition, too. Especially when the item is older, or rarer.I always open what I buy because apart from selling or giving them away (both of which I never do), I think buying them and never opening them is kind of pointless. Heck, you could give me a carded redline and i'd still open it. I still try to preserve their condition however, some of the more meaningful ones I have I tend to put back in the blisters when i'm not using them, for safe keeping.
Probably the cleanest tampo application on a mainline I have ever seen.
Perhaps, but i'm just not fond of keeping them in packages forever and ever while they collect dust. I'd much rather roll them around some and make some good memories with them.I hear you, and I think you already understand this, but just as how it makes sense to play with, or display the darn things, it would make perfect sense for someone to preserve the collectibles in untouched condition, too. But if you can't see it, how do you know it's mint? Also, when it involves Wonder Woman Invisible Jet.
You know what they say; Different folks, different strokes!Perhaps, but i'm just not fond of keeping them in packages forever and ever while they collect dust. I'd much rather roll them around some and make some good memories with them.
I'm more stunned by the numbers.I know someone in a Hot Wheels group on Facebook that has 60,000 Hot Wheels in his collection and 40,000 of them are unopened.
Do not ruin my fantasy for me!!But if you can't see it, how do you know it's mint?
Indeed. You know what they say; Different folks, different strokes!
Me too. I can't help, but wonder how he even stores them. I only have about 2000 Hot Wheels in my collection, i'm not sure what i'd do with a collection that huge!I'm more stunned by the numbers.
Do not ruin my fantasy for me!!
Digging the color & the chin spoiler. I was looking at the pictures of their A-Team van the other day. Those visors that go over the front windshield, it was done horribly & it looked like a wing from a race car or something was resting on top of the windshield? Quite in contrast to how good the chin spoiler looks here.Nice job GL, definitely my favourite out of the series (better than the BRE imo).
Yeah it looks nice, quite contrary to the R35 one. Holy hell it looks crap.Digging the color & the chin spoiler. I was looking at the pictures of their A-Team van the other day.
