I haven't been collecting as much lately but I somehow managed to find two $upers back in July.

Got one a few years ago :P
It's a crispy model, easily one of my favourites. When Alex Kersten from Car Throttle bought one a real one in mint condition, I had to get a model of it. My dad never paid any attention to the 944 but it's a good car. Hard to believe it was designed 40 years ago.

Bought these because they looked nice (I have around a hundred muscle car Hot Wheels already) and the Galaxie caught my attention because it looked like it was "made too well" so to speak. Little did I know that it was a Treasure Hunt, it's been so long since I've bought Hot Wheels actively that I had no idea the entire TH recognition system has changed. I come from the era when they were still green. :embarrassed:

Found this Dodge Rampage at a Walmart in SC on vacation. I see someone posted one in their pickup from a couple of weeks ago. But this was a nice "find" for me. Store had plenty of the Ford GTE race car on a hauler, but couldn't justify paying the price for one. I had a Rampage from Hot Wheels in the early 80s. Red with yellow tampo & real rubber tires. This car takes me back. My original one looks much like the red one here.

But it looked good new.

Really want that ST205 GT-Four.

Travelled around the state for a few hours to different stores. Turns out I managed to find some parts of the Modern Classics car culture set not that far away from my town. Only found three of the five, but happy to at least have gotten the Evo and 3000GT. Didn't expect to find the F&F cars too. Hoping to maybe at least find a second set of Modern Classics before the holiday shopping starts to pick up, because of how bad it gets. A little odd I never saw the truck car culture set before the Modern Classics.

Also found the MB set.

Actually I only wanted the Ford GT in white (since I do have the black one from the first HW-GT-series years ago) and the R34 + maybe the McLaren F1. But prices for the R34 are completely nuts with 20-30 $ shipped for the GT-R alone so I bought the complete set with all cars for ~38 $.

I've decided to get back into customizing, but only to the extent of wheel swaps. Just to add some more cars to my "premium" collection. So here's the first one:
