Would you guys say this is worth about...under $3? I'm contemplating on buying it. Originally looked at it when it was 11 cents... Now it's almost $2. :indiff: Unless any of you guys are going to outbid me for this. :P

You........ don't have to worry about me.............. for sure.

I'm bidding on this, but I doubt I can hang on. If I was still collecting, I would've made sure I got it, but I'm just bidding chump change. I also bid minimum on this. Now, I'm trusting you guys. ;)

The Fast Felion's thing in it's undercarriage is the engine's oil pan, people.
You gotta be :censored:ing :censored:ing me. That actually make sense. :dopey:

Have you seen that before, or do you think this is something new they are trying out?

Unfortunately, I have a bad feeling the Toyota's price will be going up considerably since there's about 4 days left... Too much time. :ouch: Those Tomicas you're bidding on seem pretty cool. And no, I won't try and bid on them. Promise. ;)

🤬 that's awesome. That first batch in card, $2 for Hall of Fame cars!!! And the black wheels on the Nissan, a steal. Also, the Ferrari 5 pack is awesome, I didn't know about it.

As for the Corgis, even more awesome. The Cement Mixer, School Bus and the Zakspeed Capri are cool, I had never seen the Capri. How much did you say those were?

I paid $17 for the 20 cars. :D

I saved the seller. I'm watching his Merak SS. Its gorgeous.

Old stuff, they've been doing the "thing trough base" thing for a while now. At least ten years. Check out the base of your AE86.

oh screw you, lol.

I am, too. :P Seriously, if I get lucky with the Countach, I was gonna try to swipe that one later. No sweat though, we'll find out tomorrow, but I think my bid's only like four bucks on the Countach, so it's a long shot for me. :P

Nothing on there!

Nothing on there!

Unless they changed it for these later editions, but last I saw one... heck, last I tore one apart, the flame logo on the base of the car follows the exact same principle.

Well, AOS said his Felion from another year didn't have it, so I can understand it. I am convinced that you are right. Thanks for the help. 👍

Haha no - I just did that for fun - took it out to take some shots for a6m5, then put it back upside down so he could see the label on the package as well as the oil pan. In case you see a6m5 tell him, too (just in case) the round things on the corners of the car are wheels - they go round and round.

This was an error:

Could have been assembled backwards, it could also just be a reflection of a window pillar.

However, I do see that the front windshield has been dislocated.

But before that, how in the world do you people catch these things?

I usually only catch wheel errors because they are pretty obvious. There's collectors who collect nothing but errors and they spend quite a bit of time going through all the cars. I don't have that kind of time or patience.

I go through each peg myself, but I only look at the name tag on the side so I won't catch any THs without a green label unless someone here told me about them...

Usually the first thing I do is quickly scan the very first car in each peg to see if there's anything I've wanted, then I search through each peg, going up and down each column. On occasions before I start digging, I look under each card to find a "TREASURE HUNT" print, and because they're on pegs I can scan it pretty quickly. It's a good idea, but I never find any THs.

I never look at anything closely(note to self: don't buy used car), so it's pretty much guaranteed I'll never find an error model.

Also, that Tomica Countach I bid four bucks on? Check this out.

Oh, whatever Harry. Whatever.

Burn!👍

Yep, same here. Like R16, I don't have the time or the patience to go though every single car looking for errors.

Tomica Toyota WiLL Cypha is currently at $2.65. Next bid must be $2.90 or more... Questioning whether it's worth going after anymore. :( (Any suggestions? I'm sure there are people in here who know the values of Tomicas pretty well)

I can give you a suggestion, but you probably wouldn't enjoy it. :P That car has been hit with a ugly stick. More than once.

Not surprised. Tomica, Majorette, Siku and other brands are very expensive en E-Bay because they are pretty hard to find in countrys that are not tehir place of origin. That's why Hot Wheels are comparatively cheaper.

on my side, I just got ahold of these.

LOL! Sorry a6m5, I couldn't resist; I know you like a good joke, too. I was trying to imagine your face when you were reading Cano's post about the oil pan - I nearly fell over laughing. Confession - I am the same; every knob, button, protrusion or suspicious-looking dohickey must be pushed, pulled or fiddled with till made to work. Or broken. As soon as I saw your post about the Felion I tore the package open and was intent on making something pop, fall out or generally go 'sproing!', but nada. Zip zilch and zero. Anyway I posted the pic to confirm for you that, yes, other Felions also have . . . well, that oil pan thingamajiggy. That doesn't work.

The opened one has backwards windows.

Edit: Or the wrong windows all together?

I was hoping that would catch your eye, Turbo, and yes, it did; nothing escapes the eyes of the Hawk. Here's the story: I bought one of the Fish & Chip'ds awhile back - liked the flame job, and wanted to have one put away as an investment ( ;) ). Later - and I don't usually go for the 'fantasy cars' I decided to get one for modding - I like the Fleetline's lines. So a few day ago I decided to open the second one - I was opening a whole bunch of cars, so not looking too hard as I opened - and just ripping open the package, putting the car aside, next package grabbed and so on.
Well after it was all opened I settled down to looking the cars over and when I was checking out the F & C'd, I felt something wrong but couldn't put my finger on it. Then I suddenly realised that the window glass had been put on backwards. Actually my first thought was "Crap, R1600 would kill me if he hears about this."
So I go scrambling for the double and take a look at the package - and now I see for sure that the opened one was an error! :ill:

Here are some pics - I have taken some with a mirror placed to show the untampered screws (in case some paisan thinks I lie):

What I'd like to know is - if anyone has one of these and if the window glass on one side of the car extends completely from A-Pillar to C-Pillar.
I should have looked a little more before I started behaving like a kid in a candy store - what I'm sorry about is that a Collector who really loves to have a packaged error missed out. I myself am not interested in errors ( though this one now goes on a display shelf as a conversation piece).
I have noticed though - that the unopened package I have may also have an error - if my guess about the window is right.

I never look at anything closely(note to self: don't buy used car), so it's pretty much guaranteed I'll never find an error model.

Same with me - in fact, I just scrapped one of my real cars (was a used Lincoln I bought that turned into a money pit.) So back to one car now. :grumpy:

Edit: Cano - those trucks are a steal. Can I bid against you?

I like the A-Team & the Samurai. 👍

Exactly, you can't just dish it out all day long, sometimes you have to laugh at yourself, too. I'm good looking, so it wasn't easy, but I do my best. :sly:

Seriously though, it was just such a weird feature, and I had never seen it before, so it really did catch me off-guard. Thanks for posting the pic. 👍

Now that's what I call some true decation.... Or is it?

That's what I do myself, but sometimes I mix it up by digging between the first two or three pegs to see what's buried behind the first couple of cars on the pegs. I usually just brush my hands against the packages and spread them slowly so I can read the car's names and/or get a better look at them.

Harry, that's quite an error to have. That's got to be worth a great deal of money to error collectors, because a lot of casts don't have a structure that allows the windows to be installed the other way around without the chassis not being able to fit.

Andy - True. That is the whole reason I was somewhat miffed at myself. Not easy to turn the glass around like that in most cars. If I had discovered it earlier then I would have told you guys immediately and saw that it got passed into the right hands - since I myself am not really into them. My advice to all is look harder at those Fish & Chip'ds on the pegs - the QC may have been asleep or distracted and quite a few errors may have passed Quality Control.

Unfortunately I was opening a whole bunch at once:

I notice that red is a popular colour with most Brands. Me - I can never have too much yellow! :)

I specifically collect errors and variations. Your Fish & Chip'd still has some value out of its package, since it's a hard error to fake. Keep it out of harms way. Will post some of my most prized errors when I get the chance. Included are some window errors. :)
