I still say I don't buy the fantasy cars(that's what I call them ), but I know I got handful that I just thought looked cool.Guess I'll take a step back and go back to my first rule and that was to collect only REAL cars. I got too carried away looking for anything 2012 that I probably picked up at least 30 artificial rides by now.
For some of us who are part time, half-assing collectors, what hurts us in trying to keep the collection under control is that we all have too broad of range taste in cars. Add that to the different colors/wheels, variants, premium series, Tomica, Hot Wheels, Matchbox, etc., it can get bit out of control. And like Cano noted, you start filling up your totes, and personally, I'm like "WTH am I gonna do with all this stuff!".
Edit: I finally got my Treasure Hunt & Super Treasure Hunt of the Olds 442 today.
I mentioned it before, but I completely spaced that there was a S-TH version of this car and bought the standard TH on eBay. As soon as I realized that there was Super version, I had to go get it. Real thing didn't disappoint though. This is the car(standard version) that got me hooked into Hot Wheels initially, and I do love it.
It's friendly in here. We all just need to appreciate Cano's playful personality, it is all good.I smell a vintage vs. modern battle coming up.......
Supermarket collectors..... Prepare the battle stations!
