Same casting, but variation exists and cosr per car is low. Worth collecting imo.

I have 4 variations of the Fish 'n Chip'd, plus the cast iron black custom I did on another.

Just ordered that Chevy Nova from the HWC site. Was going to skip it since I didn't really have the money, but it's on backorder until December and they don't charge your card until it ships. So thats kind of a heads up to anyone that wants it but doesn't have the money at the moment.

Came back with a bunch of stuff today. I also went ahead and made this small backdrop in about 35 minutes. I thought some of you may want to try it yourself so you can take some photos that looks a little more professional than using your drawers and coffee tables.

It's small enough to store away easily, and big enough that your camera won't catch the ends of the backdrop. Also, it's hella inexpensive to make. It's all tape and foamboard.

It's nice to have the backdrop rise at the back so you don't need a large amount of space, nor a large piece of paper. I can even list down a short list of simple instructions on how to touch it up a bit on Photoshop or GIMP if anyone wants. Anyway, I used that to take pictures of these purchases today:

It can be opened up fairly easily.

Ohhh you got the Celica and Beetle.
And the black 458 with the tan interior; is that a more rare version then the one my girlfriend has with black interior?

Edit: Hey, what'da know. Look what I have in my donor box. :D

Damn you Canadians and your 2013 cars. :P

Nobody is sure yet, but we're leaning on the edge of the Black/Black being the hard one to find. The base code on the bottom is older on the black interior cars, so they may have started with that and switched over to tan. There's even been some gray ones found. Also, there's a black base & Silver base variation too.

I also found one that has a grayish-tan interior.

Every time I come home with a bunch of cars, someone always tells me then that I could have possibly missed a rare variation.

Luckily for me, there was only one black 458 today so I couldn't have missed one if it was there.

He was talking about 2012 though. So it being a 2013 car doesn't count. :P

Funny, because he sure didn't mention the year in that post. Either way, confound the fool responsible for the trechery!!

As a matter of fact, I have been forgetting to post my purchases from Friday.

Finally got my hands on one of these Porsche 914-6 (and yes Cano i made sure I didn't get the names confused this time:sly:) Got the last one they had!:dopey:

Still nothing new here... Same old yellow 458 Spider, 2012 Beetle, etc. And yet, that is so no fair that you Canadians get the 2013 Celica already. Jelly! :P

As for that Datsun 510 wagon...must...have...

Anyways, it's been a while since I posted here. Only recent purchase, Maisto Elite Transport Evo X from Target. Tempted to get the COE flatbed with the Beetle and the tow truck with the Challenger R/T on the back. But...JDM, of course.

Cars like that you can't list them for what you want. Its only worth what someone is willing to pay. Start it low and watch it fly...

Just beware of a6m5 and Captain Cardiac. They're hardcore in disguise.

Disguise my ass, Harry! My collection(if you can call it that) has no direction, it's all over the place, and it is tiny.

I wonder if Vspec even know about his new nickname.

Has anyone other than Medigo find the Boulevard series Vector yet? I'm gonna look again this weekend, but they've been very elusive!

P.S. Spacegoat's new sig is not rated PG at all. It's intriguing nice disgusting, but mostly sexy.

They really do seem elusive. I bought the only two I've ever seen in my area (Walmart). Gave one to my brother, since he's had a thing for Vector as well ever since GT2. I'm sure you've at least got the Grand National and Delorean that I missed out on though. If you do, I'd be jelly enough of you. :P

Speaking of the Boulevards, has the '32 Ford know to be a tough find?
Likewise with the Packard and Rigor Motor.

Grand National & DeLorean, I just saw a week or two ago. '32 Ford & Rigor Motor, I've seen them, but haven't run into them lately. Packard is something I'd buy, but I've never even seen it. I know Jason(R1600) have one. I think he got it for one cent.
