OK, do you guys remember me and goat slo-chatting about treasure hunt, how I wish I ran into them soon...... I also said in regards to Jason's comment about how he left the duplicate treasure hunt on the peg, and how I'm also awesome like that?
Today, I was out of town, so I visited this K-Mart WAY out of my area. Coincidentally, very same, very first department store I ever visited in the United States(1987!). Any who, don't get mad at me, but I'm only a human. I see a green label, so I'm like, "score!". I keep looking. I see another of the same treasure hunt, I'm like "what are the odds....", but I don't even touch it.
Then this happened.
God really hates me, because I didn't even really want the first one. Then here's the second. There the third. By the third one, I'm like, I have to take all of them, if only for funny picture(only to the hot wheels collector).
It kind of made my day, but feels like I also got kicked in the jimmi jammer at the same time. I was glad something amusing happened, but totally let down by the cars I felt was forced to take.
I also got these in other stores:
Been wanting another Back to the Future and Curiosity Rover for stock. Extra Chevelle treasure hunts are available for trade, or sale at cost, but in my honest personal opinion, these cars suck.
I don't think it's worth the shipping.
P.S. When I first started collecting, I was bit concerned about other people looking at me going thru the pegs or bins, but I don't care anymore. I've never had anybody looking at me funny, though I've had people talk to me. Girls working at the stores are the best. They get a kick out of me getting kick out of hot wheels. They absolutely laugh when I show up at Walmart register with a ammunition for my guns + couple of hot wheels! I've been warned couple of times that collecting hot wheels get out of hand, which I wholeheartedly agree.
Do you have to keep buying all
my cars.
You have awesome taste in cars.
