Nice Wabbit, Cano. 👍 I also do like how Hot Wheels' bugs are put together. If they looked stock, I'd be drooling over them.
My dad found it on a whim in one of the stores I wasn't checking every day for them. :ouch:
How much are they? If they are around a dollar, what's gonna stop me from buying the whole box, selling them on eBay? j/k :P
So you guys check stores pretty much everyday?
At least once or twice a week. Stores I check for cars are stores I usually shop for other general things.

it's an odd shade of turqoise. Quite hard to get in pictures, I'd have to go photoshop on the car, select it and all that, forget it.

Thanks for the comments (:

You're welcome 👍

I see what you mean now about the turquoise - those are hard photons to capture - I hate fiddling with the photos after they're taken, too - I hardly ever edit unless it is to crop, or throw a border around it.

The pictures are zoomed up, not macro'ed.

Yes. Obvious from the perspective; I do a lot of zoom myself. I would hazard a guess that you are using a tripod, maybe even a cable.

Ugh I don't. And I want it.

See me in twenty years with plenty of shekels. :)

^ Love the Ford GT's. 👍
Sorry Spacegoat - I got you mixed up with Sonygamer - :ouch:

Well, our user names are similar.....................kinda. :sly:

Cano's Beetles are so sweet, especially the red version with the flame job.

A Hotwheels Flint Mobile.
Check that out!👍 Never seen or heard of that one at all! Love it!
As for the Shark - do you collect them, too? I know Spacegoat has a shaol them so I actually picked it up for him - in case he hadn't that variation and would like me to send it to him. It was the only one on the pegs, but if you are a Shark collector, too, I'll definitely keep an eye out for you.
Well i usually collect every sharkruiser i see or any other shark vehicles, although i have missed out on 2 which i should have got:indiff: There are many i do wish i could have.:dopey:
You must have me confused with someone else, Harry. I only collect real cars, so I'll have to respectfully decline, your very kind offer.

Although, I can't express how much, I appreciate the thought. 👍
You mean me?:D
Sorry Spacegoat - I got you mixed up with Sonygamer - :ouch:

Dare someone ask me again "What's in a name?" :grumpy:
Alittle confused here:confused:
Well - the offer still stands - but I see that he already has it. Now I'm stuck with a Shark circling my collection. Good thing I got the Sharkhunting El Camino.
I have a good collection of sharks:D You quoted a pretty old post from me:lol: To be honest i posted that picture because i was bored and plus shark week had just happened when i took the photo.:D:lol:
Well, our user names are similar.....................kinda. :sly:
Frankly i don't see it, the 1st letter is the only thing simuler if you ask me:lol:

Cheers. For the record, no, I don't own the freaking Mexican Rabbit. It is one of the most sought after cars in this country, and obscenely expensive most of the time.

Nah, all handheld, just bumped up the ISO to I think 800. One of the reasons I bought the SX40 is because, even if it's one of those hyper-zoom, do-it-all cameras, the thing has Canon's CMOS sensor directly out of their DSLRs, so it's practically a fixed-lens reflex. The quality of the pictures, even at a mere 12 megapixels, is unsurpassed for its category because it's practically DSLR quality. ISO noise is practically unexistant. The thing rules.

Oh dear God. I don't know if you keep your cars always in there, but I'll offer this advice. PUT THEM SOMEWHERE ELSE. The sun is a car's worse enemy. Your windows will go yellow, your paint will fade, go yellow too, and crack, the chrome will go yellow, and the white things will go yellow. I can't stress this enough, if you really always have them there, they will deteriorate a lot with time, and you won't notice right away until it's too late.

R1600Turbo I think you're going to like this!:sly: I went into Kit Kringle again Friday and I picked up not one, but two Miatas in there and an orange Nomad.:dopey: In all my 8 years of collecting, I think this is the 1st time I have ever bought 2 cars of the same cars in one day!:dopey::lol:

Stopped by Walmart, Target, TRU, and the indoor flea market. Absolutely nothing! And sorry Ben, seems like someone already grabbed both Vectors... :(

Though I did find this Shelby Cobra Concept. Wheels looked cool.

Edit: SkylineFaux, cool model, but it belongs in the GTplanet Scale Model thread. ;)

WHAT IS THAT?

Oh so I went on my first big eBay "shopping" and the total's racked up to $257.

I realize I don't have that much money to pay so I'm taking 1/2 the big list off and saving it for later...

Awesome!! Getting back a car you had as a child is cool as heck. Pics when it arrives, I love Polistil.

Cheers Cano. 👍 I wasn't gonna get it at first (have only ever bought about 8 items off e-bay my entire life), and i did think it was a bit pricey, but i realised i probably wouldn't come across another at that price again, so took the plunge.
I'll post pics when i get it (2 weeks shipping).

BTW. Awesome!! green Auburn and Beetles. 👍

Cool Skyline aswell Skyline.

WHAT IS THAT?
A sweet-ass R32. :)

Dude that car is awesome! What series is it in!?!?!:dopey:
It's from the 2003 Preferred Series Sweet Rods. R1600Turbo is correct though, they were only released in Japan. Got this one from a local collector a few years ago who had three of these at the time. Very thankful this one's out of the list of Skylines to find. :P

Those wheels look absolutely horrible on an otherwise cool car. HW really needs some modern wheels in it's premium lineup. You can't slap Torq Thrusts or Hallibrands to everything.
They honestly don't look so bad. I mean, they look better than the 6-spoke ones they put on the $TH a few years back. I'm more annoyed by the chrome interior.

Maybe. And to think those are the onlu modern looking wheels HW has in the entire Real Rider lineup. It's a disgrace.

They should really bring about the wheels they use in the IZOD Indy car series.

Speaking of R32's a came across this pic a while ago, it's obviously a custom (probably belongs in the custom thread really), but i thought i'd post it anyway...

Tomica casting is so much better than the HW.

Just to make it clear, that's not my custom job (wish it was though), and i hear you about the wheels (R1600), but the depth/offset and diameter suit it i think.
[EDIT] you're right though, there are wheels that would have looked better.

Cano, as far as i know it's a Tomi.
