"Nandato" is the confrontational version. It is correct.
And welcome to the club TB, didn't know that the moderators collected as well.
I don't think he's a collector yet, Vspec. I had that many in storage even when I wasn't collecting. :D
But I tell you guys, if you want those two, start feeling your opened RX7s and Aventadors (or the others) and get to know how they feel, especially in those smaller bags and push them closer to the window viewer and look. That's how I found them, loving that FB RX7! :D
Dude, don't you remember about the last Mystery cars? I think Medigo or somebody posted a youtube video about how the numbers of the cars are printed right on the front of the bag. No feely -peeky necessary.

and 2 boulavard Porsche 914s one for the car, one for the wheels!
I don't know if I can spend $3-whatever for just the wheels, and let the car go to waste. They must be nice wheels!

That's a lot of guys.... why you so greedy for, huh?

Nah, I wouldn't say greedy though, those are the main manufactuers I usually look for when I'm building my collection and are my favorite brands. And besides, I usually pick up two, sometimes three cars only if I like the car and have a idea for a custom built one(excluding the old school JDM and EU cars though, I try to get at least 4-5 :guilty:.)

And I would say Audi, Toyota, Lotus and VW, but HW and MB need to create more cars for these brands though.

Well, need to bring out the collector bugs again for TB and the others who collect scales .

I think it was Medigo who posted that video, I need to look it up though, been a long time since I seen that video. And to top it off, I kinda forgot about the numbers of each car, since I don't see Mystery or bag cars all the time :indiff:.

Struck gold. Found a $TH '59 Chevy Delivery and a TH Chevelle on some activity book bundles (yeah, these things [THs] are always in some sort of bundle). Don't really mind though, normal cars cost P99 each (that's around $2 for you guys in the US) and these bundles cost P129. My only gripe is that they put double-sided tape on the back of the cards so that ruins them. That and the cards themselves are in poor condition because of how shoddy packaging is. Nonetheless, it's cool to find these on the pegs.

I know i can spend that for wheels, but i cant let a perfectly good porsche go to waste, i have a old set of wheels for it!

I never find nothing, but that Chevelle is one of the few I have found on the pegs. I'm not sure what kind of bundles you are referring to, but is it that something common where you live? Either way, congrats on TWO Treasure Hunts. 👍

Yeah, that TB is a cool guy. ...........when he's not banning people.

Well, the numbers for every car in the series are printed on the back, number of the actual car on the front. ;)

Yeah, I figured. Hopefully they are nice set. :D

Yeah, it's a fairly new scheme by the stores here. Rare or sought-after cars are usually attached to activity books. Not complaining though, it's an avenue for some THs to actually make an appearance in stores (for a rather good price) instead of the odd convention.

Also, I feel your pain on finding absolutely nothing most of the time. The only time I actually find something good is when I open a box, and even then there are no THs. I did find a Hidden TH not so long ago hanging on the pegs. In my (and my dad's) years of collecting, it remains to be my only legitimate TH find. So satisfying actually finding one in a sea of pegwarmers. Here's a pic of it.

a6 is right. Stamped number on front of baggy matches printed number on back. No touchy feely necessary.:dopey:

Edit: thought I would let everybody know that WalMart.com has the 2012 Boulevard 30 car set for $100.

for $100? What are you saying? We should chip in and split the cars?

What do you guys think of the Kyosho brand? Stumbled on a seller
with a fairly large line up of cars, but was curious about its cast quality.

You're not welcome here anymore. :grumpy:

From pictures, they look pretty good. I've got an even smaller scale model from them in a trade with Ben. How much are they charging? And what models do they have? Interested in some...myself. :P

They have race cars... lot of race cars... but I have dibs on an F1 GTR. So don't buy it before me.

Comparing it to other pricey brands, $8 doesn't sound like a really bad price... M2, Jada and whatever else go for about that much if I'm not mistaken, but they don't make race cars, which is the real selling point for me.

Edit: Here's a seller that has a selection of... wait- how did I get from Kyosho to Tomica? http://www.ebay.com/sch/webwin88/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=&_trksid=p3686

Oh here's a seller who's got a range of Kyosho:

I've yet to find any Super/Hidden Treasure Hunt. That is very cool dude. 👍

This activity book bundle thing is little different, but I guess it's working out for you just fine.

For most of us, who already own most of the cars we want from that line up, it's probably a "pass".

What have you done.

P.S. Hey, Medigo just hit this thread's 10,000th post!

Kyosho is an extraordinary brand. My paint friend has ordered some and they have amazing detailing and accuracy, and indeed they do a lot of race cars. You can also look for CM's Japan if you like Kyosho-style cars, they do a lot of Rally cars, which I know are your weak point, AOStina, but they are harder to find.

Here are two I have:

I also have this CM's Miura:

You can also look for stuff by RealX, but their range isn't as varied as Kyosho or CM's; I have a couple Skylines from them:

dsfjhu011.jpg

and Autoart also makes awesome 1:64s, but they are more expensive. I'll take pics later of the few I have if I can find them. I myself have some Kyoshos, but they are 1:43 scale. Still awesome.

I know my friend has pictures of his Kyoshos, I'll ask him for the links tonight, so you can see them.

Harder to find? No problem! I just won't look for any :P

Also, if you cars are looking through Kyosho on eBay, I got dibs on the F1 GTR. *shakes fist*

Yesterday I stopped at flea market that I've been past almost everyday of my life. There was a large room full of 1:18 scale cars and boxes of Hot Wheels. When I went in, I told my girlfriend "Now, I only have $6 so we can't get anything." A call to my mother for some money and $42 later, I have increased my collection by about 50 cars.
The more cars you bought, the more you save and my purchase worked out to be 67½¢ a piece! I priced them all and they're worth over $110! The 7 Hot Wheels 100% and Hall of Fames I bought were not part of the deal however at $2 a piece. Plus, I found so many that are on my want list from when I was younger. Pictures will be up either tonight or tomorrow.

I'm getting rid of my hot wheels collection. Anyone up for a trade?

What I have:

What I want:
Ferrari 599XX Super Treasure Hunt

Motormax Pagani Zonda

*I would prefer this Speed Machines F1 GTR. If you can trade this one, I will throw some cash in the shipment. If not, any other Hot Wheels F1 GTR will do.

PM me if interested, I'd appreciate if someone could trade for all (or at least most) of what I want. Thanks!

^I've got a 599XX Super T-Hunt and I am interested in that Kyosho McLaren F1... Hmm...

Sounds awesome! Hope to see what you found there, what kind of 1:18 scales do they have?

Nah, just mentioning it. $100 seems like a lot but that' actually cheaper than individual retail.

For most of us, who already own most of the cars we want from that line up, it's probably a "pass".

But then you don't get the exclusive cars. :sly:

Sounds awesome! Hope to see what you found there, what kind of 1:18 scales do they have?

Every kind. I didn't really look at any of them, but I did notice a very nice Dodge Viper GTS-R. All of the cars were in their boxes I should add.

You guys have done a really bad thing to me by making me aware that Kyosho makes 1:64s. I guess that's where all the high-quality HW-scale non-domestic cars were hiding. I'm in trouble now.
