1/64 Model Collectors Thread

Our local distributor spread 500 of these, and it costs the same as a regular Tomica.

There's no one that I know of, around here that stocks Tomica's. So, I'm stuck with good old E-Bay.

Black 86 looks great anyway. Though the torn box, makes me sad.

Yes, I'm picky about stuff like that.

Idea: from now on, on Friday nights, if some of you have nothing to do between 6:30 to 7:30 PDT, frequently keep up with this thread during that time.

I'm seeing A LOT of stuff at this Hotwheels meet that I know you guys would want, and most of the cars are anywhere from $.50 to $2.00 each. Stuff like Chaparrel 2D's, Lancia Stratos, Mercedes-Benz CLK-LM's, etc, etc. I'll post things when I see them, and if you want it you should speak up pronto!

Or just miss out.

Where are you going? I'd love to visit this place in person.

Not that I care about mint packages too much, but a "mobile compact shop" I imagine would be one hell of an exciting shopping experience. I don't have any CLK-LMs, I'd get a bunch of those, a few more 911 GT1's (grab me a couple next time you go, hopefully they aren't over $3), Pikes Peak Tacomas, and any other older race cars. I need 'em for my White Series.

I'll look around next week. As far as the 911 LM car, its the one with the green/purple/yellow tampos.

Hmmmm.... as far as I know, even the distributor here in the Philippines did not release it in major toy stores like Toys 'R Us. I guess it's a Japan-only release...

The distributor did release the regular Camaro SS.

Well in Kit Kringle again and me and my brother had another shopping spree there! Great selection of old vehicles!👍
Here are my purchases:
VW Golf

Porsche 928. First time I've gotten one of these.

A metal flake Mercedes 540k. The paint is actually really sparkly but the quality of the picture prevents me from seeing it.

London Taxi (with opening suicide doors). My brother got this one about a year or two ago, I liked it so much, so I got one of my own. Thinking about detailing it later.

Finally! Now I have a Speedasaurus of my own!

My brother's purchases:
Chevy 1500. My brother has loved this truck since he was little!

Another Ambulance to replace his old damaged one.

And yet another Radio Flyer Wagon to add to our collection! Never seen one with these wheels before! They had two other ones there with 5sp wheels as well.

Found a lot of good vehicles yesterday that I had wanted, found everything but that blasted Rigor Motor! Thought for sure Wal Mart would have it because that Boulevard was rather plentiful, now it's gone!

Thank you MczachenF1138! Kit Kringle is my local toy store i go to often and old vehicles like these come very easy for me, thats literly the only kinds they sell! Ones from the 90's and early 2000's! I knew that Radio Flyer Wagon was a first edtion, they had two others with 5sp wheels just like it there to! My brother owns one he got a long time ago thats kind of beat up. I almost got one of them but i felt like i had too much in my hands. Frankly this is the first one i have seen with basic wheels, nice touch if you ask me.👍 Curious but whats your favorite?

As long is a EP3, that's what I need for my Civic collection. But I love that white EP3 with the Type-R vinyls all over it the most.

Some from shopping today, some from eBay & Toy Peddler. That is the third Fisker I've bought(second of the same color). I like the casting so much, I ran into it today at the grocery store, I had to get another to actually open one. Same with Mazda Fry.

I see that the Japanese love the Transformers as much as we do it seems. Now what would happen if Gundam and Transformers bots got together?

Transformers actually started off as a Japanese toy called Microman.

I have to slow down. I love what I have, so I'll keep just about all of it. I'm gonna start selling off the tiny bit of excess from my collection on eBay(stuff I don't care for, nothing you guys would want), really go slow filling up the remaining room on these nine cases.

Yes, from HW's Ferrari series of a few years ago, picked it up because that was the first time since it's 100% series intro that the Dino had been available to the public.

Nice cars, but you gotta open some of these guys sometime. Just looking and touching them is like the actual car, you just gotta get behind the wheel to enjoy.

Woah, after reading that wiki page about the Microman series and how they started Transformers since the 80's. Gotta give them props, major props. 👍

Because without any Autobots, we would be 🤬 from the T-800s robots from Skynet, not the Decepticons's threat and rouge bots like The Fallen.
