Super Bee or Bumblebee?

Super Bee

Cano, you know that it doesn't count since you've said yourself that you buy lots like that with selling in mind as well. :P

No no that was early on in my E-Bay career, take a look at the pic again and you'll see GT5, I bought it on Ebay also because in here it was like $100; it's that old. I do admit having sold some cars from there, but mooost of that I kept for myself.

Told you you were fibbing! That's a lot more than you said you buy! That's way more than 170, anyway. You're secretly 'stocking up', aren't you? Does Ahmed know about this? Is this why there hasn't been too many pics from you lately? You actually have close to 7000 now, right? (Or more?) At this rate you'll overtake a6m5. Unless he starts collecting.

I was talking about 350, not 170 (: 170 happens way more often. The pic is old, most of what was there you've already seen troughout the thread. Yes, Ahmed knew, he got several of the cars that were sold off of there  and I don't think I have 7k , I may be close to 6k, though, and more are on the way, sadly

I'm what they call the "Sreeping Giant" in Asia. Do they have online engrish translators?

P.S. Bumblebee's a VW Bug!!!!!

My porka collection is growing

SO SPORTY!!!

This one had the QC stamp.

BTW - Andy - sorry about the Elise, it's a keeper. If I ever see another one hanging on the pegs (without actually having to go back in time) I'll grab it for you.

Welcome to the club, velly. Nice 914s! And quite a sweet Porsche collection going there.
Here's some of mine; we seem to have many of the same:

My collection is feeling rather small now lol...it is so easy to spend a lot of money on these lol

Well . . . it's not really a contest, so nothing to feel bad about. Some have more of something, others have more of something else (except for Cano - and you'd better get to know who that is - because he has the most enchiladas).
Also - amassing a huge collection overnight isn't a big deal - just big money (and online purchases will get you almost anything - even the fabled RLBB comes on sale sometimes.)
To start to put together a collection while young (and poor), and keep at it it patiently and not give it up as you grow older, richer, and crankier, is the thing . . . and then one day you'll have this fabulous collection of Porsches that you can actually 'show off' with a sense of accomplishment - the accomplishment being actually that you didn't quit. To me (if you've only just started - as in a collection that is only a couple of years old) your collection is quite a fine one to start with.
In fact I would bet that not many collectors in this thread have every car you have shown in those pics.
I don't. I'm missing that lime-green 914 . . . but it'll appear on my doorstep one day.
Maybe Cano, Ben or the Panda might have everything you have. You can call your collection small after that!

And . . . showtime:

Do the multiples mean variations?

Different colours. Oh I also have a MBX 911 wheel variation too. I forget to count carded ones. Sometimes I wonder why I even collect cards. They just get tossed in a bin and become forgotten in minutes.

This is true; it's another reason I don't buy online as much as I used to. Not going to spend $3-5 on a single car when if I get lucky I can find it in a store.

Collection size seriously doesn't mean a thing; what does matter is whatever your particular interest in collecting is. Mine is mostly real-life cars, with a focus on Japanese models, Lotuses, Classic American muscle, and wagons.

I also have a limitation on what I buy - because I keep mine carded most of the time, I don't have all the space in the world to keep my cars (even though I live in the basement with its spacious room size.)

If I were to estimate my total number of cars, I'd say about 70-90 carded, and about 100 loose ones. Some uneducated people would think that that figure is high, but when compared to Cano, Ahmed, and the other regulars here... I'm miniscule. Not that that's a bad thing, I'm not as passionate about this (mainly because I'm a serious tightwad) and I don't have the time that other people do.

(By 'uneducated', I mean the passing people on the street.)

You're forgetting my neighbour, Ahmed is way worse than me, and the Panda. He's hardcore too.

Except your neighbour only shows up for custom hot wheels. If we had a tier system, you and the other two are easily A-Tier :P

Not going to spend $3-5 on a single car when if I get lucky I can find it in a store.

You spend online to get cars you won't ever find in stores like 3 years and earlier. Buying current mainlines on the web is about the dumbest thing to do.

Ooh I lied. I did a quick recount on my collection just now and I have 773 cars. 500 was wishful thinking it seems!

To tell the truth, the K-Mart by my house still has stuff from 2009 hanging on the pegs - they don't sell many toys in general at all now. Same with the ShopRite in my area - haven't seen a 2011 or newer car there ever since I started looking there.

Could just be that I can't find new ones because they're taken already, but I seriously have no idea.

In that case, your store doesn't get shipments often probably because they aren't selling well anymore.

If you check back in 4 months, they might have it if a case of hot wheels are on their order list. Otherwise, it's probably just going to sit there until it's all gone.

lol...thats is epic! I havent counted all my cars? I need to give them a good sort out. We have lost one of my Batmoblies. I think one of the kids have nicked it 👎:yuck: I know all my cars are intended to be played with (the joys of having a 3 yo son) just does pee me off when his friends steal them.
this is the one I am missing now :(

Nice one Kakashi. 👍

So much for me collecting, just when I thought I was done, I ended up ordering a whole stock order in the past week.

I think the kid sold it to somebody in Australia. j/k I know at least one went there to a member in this thread.

Hmmm, looks just like the HW version.
Like larger scale one? Definitely not the mainline though, right?

Edit: Yeah, my bad. Found the pic of the Tomica, and it is different:

I think this may be it:

1/50 Hot Wheels. On a related note, somebody should buy these off of me: Lot of two 1/50 Batmobiles.

Shameless plug, and yes, they suck. :P
