With all the selling in this thread lately, from Jason's stuff a month or so ago to Andy and his giant1dollarpercarloteveniftherearecarsineachthatcost5timesasmuch to now Shinji, what the hell, people?

I mean, it's not like you don't want to collect anymore. A6 was just complaining that he got a shippment headed for home, Andy keeps buying stuff and Jason just spent $30 last friday. Why are you selling stuff you still collect?

It's not like they are all repeats. It's not that you'll stop collecting either. And you're not making any profit, some of you are actually loosing money. It seems absolutely absurd to me. Really.

My move's totally practical. Don't take this the wrong way, but trading is awkward at best for me. I'm just trading some cars for money, so I can trade fund obtained for cars I really want.

"Trading for money" is selling.

Canoe, I said it before. Having a handful of recolours only to stop collecting a particular casting is pointless, but at the same time, it just hogs up space in a tray I won't look at again. Fro ma collector's point of view, if I have a casting, I may as well get more as having only a few feels incomplete. But then there's the problem of ever finding any more (scarcity and/or high auction prices) and for the sake of saving money (considering that I don't even have a proper income), I should just eliminate them from my collection altogether. This way I can narrow down the amount of recolours I'll go for and spend less.

I'm not looking to profit because selling collectibles is about the slowest inconsistent way to make a living. I just want to make back some of the money I've dumped into buying these, and I can assure you $1 per isn't breaking even. Most of the cars were actually labelled for 25 cents. Even most of the premiums were marked under retail. I only marked the few HTF Hot Ones higher.

Damn it, Andy. Domestic shipping only!

Hey. Do you want money or not?

Or actually, are you looking for a Hot Ones Toyota Truck?

Of course it is. I was trying to illustrate the point though, and you've missed it!

Canadian money's not worth the hassle, we've been through this. :sly:

I'd like to have it, maybe someday. No, I'm not looking for one at this time. Sorry.

Change in collecting habbits, you know this. And a majority of that $30 was new Retro cars.

@A6: I have a loose Toyota truck that can go with your ECTO.

I think i may have got the wrong pic as it is the hotwheels one I am missing (it was in a 5 pack of "Dark Knight" cars)

I would be happy to hunt down a replacement ;)

I may buy one of those Dodge A100 vans, but after getting the Johnny Lightning version, it's like.... meh.

Which series is it? Yeah, I'd love to get that from you as well. Regardless. 👍

Come to think of it, I got all F&F cars secured, so if you want to send me the cars at your convenience, I think I'm good to go. Thanks Jason! :) Edit: Oh, yeah. Let me have the total, so I can pay. :P

No worries. I'm just playing. It's about as silly as the time I was on eBay and there was a listing titled "Lot of 1! Hot Wheels!"

I really should recount my collection again, haven't done it for some time.
Same here, mine is probably in the 1700's range now.
Liar, liar, pants on fire.

Pics or no go.
What do you want 1500+ pics of everything I got?
But it's hauling pandas. Wyvern is there.
:lol::lol:

Curious but what is that red Porsche next to that Targa?

Tell me how a $13 parcel from Australia arrives faster than stuff from the US.

A speedster?

Yes, by Maisto, good casting but the wheels are horrible, and in this one the windshield is unforgivable. I grabbed one to wheelswap but the car has been just there because I can't find something toi replace the random plastic blobl that is the windshield.

Dunno everywhere else, but this black one was very very hard to find over here.

hahaha that has got to be the randommmmest model ever made by Tomica. Screw that, that has to be the randommmmest model ever made by any japanese automanufacturer. Why that cracker box, dude?

Ive got one of those Gemini's aswell. My first real car was a 1984 Gemini so when I saw them on ebay I had to get one. I think I even got it from the same seller as you did goat. My collecting will probably slow down allot since Im not working but I do have a interview tomorrow and have been getting some temp work.
