Jelly, very jelly. The one I've got (mentioned too many times in this thread already) looks like garbage compared to that one. Not that it matters to me, but I love the way that one's done compared to mine.

Still no sign of the F&F cars, might just buy the R34 and Supra on eBay or Amazon. Only ones I want of the lot.

But don't get the impression I spend hours working on my spreadsheets on a daily basis. I do like to keep it up-to-date as soon as something comes such as finishing a custom, or receiving new purchases. There's less chance I'll forget about it.

Did you forget I work in quantitative amounts? You mustn't have browsed my blog. Obvious statement aside, I do because I have a box full of cars - two actually - waiting to be customized. No, not a dinky little parcel either. Most already have decided projects but I can't remember all of them so I keep record of them. This will prevent me from getting repeats.

The number of customs I got on queue is up in the hundred range. It's going to be a hobby that will keep me busy for years to come.



What. You guys don't like to be organized? Doing this means I can pull up an entire list of cars I have at any moment. No "oh hold on, let me go through my bins and drawers - wait where did it go?!" moments.

I keep track of my collection, yes. I do that so I can check it at the meets so I don't buy multiples of stuff I already have. But stuff that I have for trade/sale and customs I don't even bother with. My collection is probably 1/5 of yours anyway.

I'm so bummed right now.

I ordered some M2's from this diecast shop website. This set was $44.95, but was on sale for $31.47 + $8.95 in shipping($40.42). I jump at that, I receive order confirmation and it says $44.95 + $0 for shipping. I email them, politely asking for refund for the difference. This is the reply:

We gave you an in house credit for the over

Instead of refunding the overcharge, they actually billed me for additional $5.47, which only was possible by ballooning the "actual"(word they used) shipping cost to $18.95. $18.95 to ship six cars. I told them I'd file dispute with my card + BBB before I pay that.

I only keep track of where are the cars, in the form of pics of my boxes. Whenever I need to upgrade a car, I go look for it in the pics then take it out. I don't really keep track of my collection, as I remember what I have almost perfectly... tough it has happened thaat I forget/add an extra of a car or two.

I've been lacking on the thread since I couldn't find ANYTHING in my stores, except for Kinsmarts and 1:24 Maistos. But no sign of any new or unique HWs.

I much prefer /DRIVE than MotorTrend, but I couldn't not watch this.

Either I haven't been paying much attention or no one's really been posting up grabs from the usual big box stores. I've been wondering about the new cases and none of my stores have updated in a long time. But...I have been checking around a couple of times. Walmart and Target with nothing worth grabbing. And today, I stopped by TRU, looked around, saw signs of the K Case, but nothing more. Until on my way out I found these! 3 Huayras and 1 NSX! Also grabbed the Toyota Pickup.

I don't forget cars, I forget variations. Like when I have a car with blackwalls and Gold Hot Ones, or with a slight difference in tampos, but I've never forgotten if I have a car or not. A photo register for the cars with most variatios might become necesary as they keep on coming to my hands.

Believe it or not, that was my first GTO(of that gen), and it is frigging sweet.

Haven't grabbed much this week, did get a couple of extra Atari cars for opening (opened the Tempest Chevy Panel, no bike in it though)

I'm gonna start looking for another one as well, maybe even one that's already out of package. Yeah, I didn't think it came with a bike, but I finally won one on eBay that does. It was just over $5, and I really wanted that bike.

For whatever reason, Walmart stores in my area does not carry these, and I was forced to buy them online. The diecast store I'm having a dispute with, they have threatened to send me to collection agency if I don't pay up, so we'll see how this goes. I just sent them a email as soon as I got home telling them that I received everything OK, and I would be willing to pay would accept the first invoice I already paid($4.53 more than the checkout total), and if they would be willing to drop the second invoice(shipping surcharge of $5.47), I would walk away without filing complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

Their argument is that checkout amount is irrelevant because they have the separate actual shipping charge linked on the order page. Who actually reads the fine print when the checkout says it's this much for the cars, this much for the shipping? And when I suggest coming to some sort of resolution, they threaten you with the collection agency?

I often buy things from smaller online merchants, and while you run into this & that on eBay, this is the first time I had trouble with actual online business storefront. It's very scary, because eBay isn't there to protect you, and they are in the driver's seat with your debit card.

If they charge me for the second invoice, I will have a huge fight on my hands, and while I will file thru BBB, I would not refuse to pay, because you don't want this on your credit report over five 🤬 dollars.
