Well, where I work, I think we could pass you on to the collection agency if you refused to pay whatever bill. I'm not really sure about the technicality or legality, but I'm just too scared to risk it over $5.

Cool news for Canadian residents. Because Matchbox cars have dropped in price ($1-$1.26), Dollarama is now carrying the most recent cases (the same you'll find at Walmarts) for $1.50 each. The plus side is that Dollarama isn't a store targeted by collectors so if they may have something you've been looking for. Also, some stores don't have cameras.

Picked up the new Zamac cars tonight (Nurb VW Scirocco, 68 Mustang, 70 Monte Carlo) and a white Kombi for my Dad. Oh and a Mardi Gras Nissan Titan. All for $8.

Today I found out that specialty toy store is closing down and everything was 40% off. I was hesitant on the 5-pack but I decided it was worth it even though I was really only after the Mini Cooper even though it's ugly as balls. Turned out there was also a Paradigm Shift (which was even more hideous) but I decided to keep it anyway. Pass'n Gasser is a new keeper. Back then I'd skip this all the time. I'm glad I didn't. The Chevy Vega Pro Stock's up for trade. IZODs are as well if you can stop me in time before I take its wheels that is. The Sarah Fisher is as well but I'm keeping the wheels. They're messed up so I don't want you guys to have it. [/nice guy]

They are kinda cool, but I still can't get over why I don't see more stretch rods(M2). They are epic awesome.

UPDATE: My dispute regarding the stretch rods was settled. I told them that if they waived the second invoice, I will walk away. I got email back from a lady in their accounting, she says that there was misunderstanding on both ends, they'd be more than happy to make the second bill go away.

I'm just disappointed by their handling of the whole thing. Pricing, even $5 above the checkout amount was a good deal, and I would have been a repeat customer of theirs, and you guys are familiar with my "habit".

Only cheaper car I've found in that series is this:

Did not come with a box, and it was something like ten bucks. Maybe even less. My Nissans I got pretty good deal, and I think they were about $25 for two. LeMan winner 787B I think was around $25, just for one.

Yup. Initially, they were nothing special. Within days, people discovered the supply-demand of the car & it reached Super Treasure Hunt status. So happy I have zero interest in the car. P.S. If you find the R35 from the F&F series, I am definitely interested. Only one I don't have. Also wouldn't mind a spare orange Supra. I know, super long shot.

When I used to go on a "hunt", I could find all mystery cars, Zamac(exception of R34, that's when I quit), but I no longer find anything. Kool Kombi, I have yet to see one in the wild, only F&F car I ever saw were new crap Dodge Magnum or whatever car.

At Walmart, I also grabbed two more of those loose car cases(now sold as thread spindle cases). Now I got six of them.
