Don't listen to him, Jarod, I still think it's awesome. In the sea of JDM-yo, American muscle, exotics, etc., etc., yes, it's random, but also a much needed change of pace. Not to mention the TL "Vintage Neo" quality.

MONEYINDABANK! đź‘Ť

Ive got one of those Gemini's aswell. My first real car was a 1984 Gemini so when I saw them on ebay I had to get one.

Awesome that you had one in real life. My first car was a '81 Datsun 1200 Ute, wish I still had it.
I think I even got it from the same seller as you did goat.

I dare say you probably did. I've bought a majority of my Tomica stuff from that seller.đź‘Ť

It's unusual, that's why I like it so much. Same story with the Lancer Rally car, I got ages ago. And the Vintage quality is great, I'm impressed. đź‘Ť

Cano, are you bidding on that Chevelle on eBay? I was going to, until I found bunch other fishes to fry. :D

Wait, what. What Chevelle?
Disone. It's from that seller Andy linked a few days ago.

I was looking at that one, and also couple others, but flipping Humvee sent me on a epic derailment. I ended up with two JL Hummers, amongst others.

But it's hauling pandas. Wyvern is there.
No no, no. That's Uncle Gan, Aunt Lei and cousin Piao in for a visit. I thought it was weird when they said they were shipping ground. I thought they rented a car...

Velly had posted a collection of porsche and there where several responses including:

Maybe Cano, Ben or the Panda might have everything you have. You can call your collection small after that!

Speaking of the Panda...

I couldn't help but notice some of my favorite castings missing, so I spent a couple hours rummaging and here's what I came up with.

Porsche 959

Yeah I understand, I like crackerboxes too. How much?

$20, though it looks like Ben grabbed the last one at that price. The cheapest one I can find at the moment is $22.

Edit: Ooh, the Yellow and White versions look the business, but $31?

While this did not win the 24 Hours of Le Mans, I like this more than the # 55 car. This is just simple and not too bombarded with graphics and decals that sometimes hurt the eye.

I like that 787B more than the green and orange one too.

Oh, I didn't even remember. No I'm not bidding on it, and it's already high including shipping, altough there are other cars there as well that I might try to nab. Thanks for the reminder.

Mmhh.. most of what I see I have, at least the versions I like, but there are several there that I'm missing, specially the chrome 911 and the color changer 930. Cool stuff Panda.

Uck. After the trip.

GAHCK. After the trip.

Will you people stop making me spend money I need? :grumpy:

I much prefer /DRIVE than MotorTrend, but I couldn't not watch this. :D

[YOUTUBE VIDEO of Larry.]

Nice one, Zachy - loved it. Watched it on my laptop - but can't wait to throw it on the big screen now and watch it all over again. Maybe a couple of times. Thanks for the link. đź‘Ť

Funny . . . I was just telling my kids the other day about 'Fun Jobs' and the huge amount of them that exist if one only looked around, picked something that they are truly passionate about and went after it. The fact that the other guy didn't like his job was telling, too - if he hadn't asked Larry to take over - wow - what he world would have missed.

How the Bone Shaker came into being was interesting, too. Glad I have the FE and a whole other bunch, including the Monster truck and the Joker's Shaker.

Hot Rods Rule!!

Cano, get over here and support me.

Those Porsches...and that 787!

Either I haven't been paying much attention or no one's really been posting up grabs from the usual big box stores. I've been wondering about the new cases and none of my stores have updated in a long time. But...I have been checking around a couple of times. Walmart and Target with nothing worth grabbing. And today, I stopped by TRU, looked around, saw signs of the K Case, but nothing more. Until on my way out I found these! 3 Huayras and 1 NSX! Also grabbed the Toyota Pickup. :P

Of course they rule, they're the originators of enthusiast car culture, the entire world owes hot rodding whatever their car culture is/has been. and they're bad ass of course. even if the Bone Shaker is as ugly as spitting in church .

đź‘Ť đź‘Ť

The Generale has spoke. So shall it be written unto the law.

I have been sorting through my older collection (90s, 00s) in search of my scattered FEs, since I want to change my 'Wall' around a bit - a little tired of looking at the same cars (especially when there are thousands of others to look at) and so I thought I would create a small display of my FEs. Came up with quite a few of them . . . pics presently.
(I should be actually working on some other documents . . .but, heheh . . . I'm the boss. ;)

iceprince - what on earth are you doing, trying to unleash the Panda?
I'd hate him just for the Corgi cast Targa alone.

Apok - Cano is right about the Porsche Speedster from Maisto. It is what he says; bobble windshield and all.

Didn't even realise I had this. I've seen one loose in Andy's collection:

Which I'm now selling.

I spend my money on hot wheels too compulsively. I still am today. :ouch:

Gimme dat Huayra, Kevin. Unless you're doing custom work on it. Also, can I please get an update on what's in my box some time this week?

i need these. I will give you a cookie for them!

Great. I was itching to open it. More valuable open than sealed then.

Yup. That was the R34's entrance. And my exit. Gotta run. No work done at all!!

Just got myself another blue Corsair. Anyone dying for one? If not I might just paint it. :sly:

Aside from that. I also bought another 20-something cars for 20-something dollars.

Looks like the '59 Caddy convertible, Baja Beetle and a few others will be blacklisted, while the '69 Vette ZL1 will be taken off said list now.
