As a big fan of the Rotary engine, I had to buy this one, and so I did...

I just received some more Kyosho's in the mail today. That takes my 1:64 Kyosho collection to

3 Dodge's
9 Nissan's
2 Lamborghini's
1 Mercedes
1 Porsche

Ill try and get some pics for you this weekend. I got stuck playing GTA V last weekend.

Said I blacklisted '70 Road Runners...

Plymouth+Road+Runner+1970+%25281998+First+Editions%253A5DOT%2529.jpg

1998 First Editions. The harder-to-find 5DOT variation. Bought it from a dummy who didn't know.

Plymouth+Road+Runner+1970+%25282004+General+Mill+Promo%2529.jpg

2004 General Mills Promo. The tampos and wheels won me over instantly. (shrugs)

Plymouth+Road+Runner+1970%25282008+Treasure+Hunt%2529.jpg

2008 Treasure Hunt. Now I can really conclude the end of Road Runners.

Oh crud. I'm running into the mac-gray-pc-black display thing again.

edit: bigger crud. Seller doesn't know their crap. He lists CM6 McLarens, this is what I get:

I did not pay $10 each for these POS OH5 variations. He better have something he can do about this.

You're right. They've indeed stopped making them.

I bought these on Amazon. I wouldn't have bought something only to complain about it later if I knew what I was buying.

Some speed machines were being re-released in Asian countries with the PR5 wheels. Nobody knows the true story on them though. Even the Mattel guys on HWC had no idea where they came from.

Well if you don't want them, would you like to send them to me? Not like I can find a lot of interesting ones anyhow.

I'm trying to negotiate a partial refund on one of them and I'll keep one to swap CM6s into it. Didn't want to, but given the situation, it's probably the best move financially speaking. I either take this OH5 F1 (which goes for $15 everywhere, which I only paid $10 for) and turn it into a CM6 one, or I wait for a CM6 one and pay $15+....

*shrugs*

Sony: Like Cano said, it's Matchbox. That Ferrari F1, exotics, also the Aspen pickup truck. Sorry, I should have stated that when I posted those pics. :ouch:

Kakashi: Cosmo's a classic. Everyone should own one. I should get the police car version, I'm sure you've seen them around!
Frigging sweet. 👍

Oh awesome, I've got the Aspen pickup too. Though yours is a lot nicer than mine. And Dat M1.
I also saw them with canopies, but they were too much money. It is a cool truck. M1 and other Matchboxes, usually not my cup of tea, but they do look cool in a funky, cartoonish way.
Was out yesterday (for my B-day of course) and managed to pick up the Toyota 2000GT (Finally) and The Lamborghini Aventador J (which was a surprising find as I don't remember that even being shown). Still no luck on finding the Huayra, would think it'd be out around here by now.
I don't even know if I have the mainline 2000GT(do have $TH). They are nice casting. 👍

Those are the wheels I was referring to couple days ago. I thought you knew! I don't know if it's true, especially after reading Jason's post, but supposedly, they were sold equipped that way overseas. At least that's what I read online.

Difference is one is legit and the other not so much.

Oh well. I'm losing patience. My one big excuse is that I can't imagine me selling it to anyone anytime soon. It's not the money I'm after.

No no. I know about the stupid OH5 variations. I knew about it a while back. The seller on Amazon had one photo of their listing and it was a picture of the same F1 with CM6 wheels. The "legit" Speed Machines. The product description–even though I knew it was a cut&paste body of text–stated co-mold wheels. Product was advertised as such, so I expected it to be as such. I was wrong–deceived, lied, tricked, fooled. The worst part is that the seller wasn't even able to identify the difference after I pointed it out to him. Guy's clearly not a collector–he's scum! I managed to get him to offer me a refund for the price of one of them and I'll just keep them all doing the smart thing for the both of us, I agreed to it. I just await his action now.

Really got my hopes up though. I wanted to have one to keep and one to trade, because this CM6 blue F1 is definitely one people are after. I just hope I won't have to do the same with the red/black F1.

You are probably coming across as some unreasonably picky collector to this Amazon seller, but I totally get your point. I hope the seller make it right for you. Bummer!
Kyosho hasn't produced a police version of the Cosmo Sport in their Minicar Collection line yet.
I did not know that, but I was referring to just any comparable model in general. One I've seen must've been a Tomica Limited or something.

P.S. Nice buys as usual, Wyvern!

Edit: If anybody's still looking for Treasure Hunt RX-7 & Fiesta, here's a lot of 2 RX-7 & 1 Fiesta for under $10.

Haven't stopped by the local indoor flea market in a while, so I decided to see what was new. Don't have pictures at the moment but I'll list them off.

Dodge Caravan (same one that I had as a kid, with different wheels though, and unfortunately, it was an error that I didn't spot until I opened it... A loose dashboard)
black Viper SRT-10 ACR (Had to pick up another one)
MB Range Rover Sport in green
MB Corvette C6 in red (not ZR1)
and finally an HW Ford GT40 in Gulf livery, without...Gulf.

Amazing part of this fiasco – no sarcasm – is that he didn't respond to me like I was being ridiculous. He didn't acknowledge his mistake or the minor difference of the two (as a product). If you aren't big on something, something this mundane doesn't seem important, but again, he did list it as a co-mold McLaren so it is – at the very core of being a seller – a case of listing the item inaccurately so I wanted some form of compensation.

Here's a real Speed Machines though.

Can you tell I'm a huge fanboy of Speed Machines? Notice how often I distinguish the wheel variations as "real", "legit" and of the like?

Partial cheese, partial bandwagon. Awful combination. Some of you know what it tastes like.

Great stuff guys:tup: that 787B, so awesome:drool:

Got an eBay delivery yesterday Snowman's W900, so grabbed the Firebird out for a pic :

also a few things from the shops, grabbed a second '56 Chevy for a wheel change

You know the OH5 versions are also legit and probably more rare hence worth more, right?

I don´t know where to post this...
Just made a track layout for my 7 years son, trying to pull him to the drift side as soon as possible. Perhaps on GT6 ill be able to replicate it.

I'm not saying they're fake, I personally don't want to count them as part of the Speed Machines roster because they don't have the co-molds.

As for rarity, that's (practically) not the case any more! All you find are the OH5s, all ragning from $10-$15. Ugly as ever. If I can pay $15 for an FXX with CM6s, I'd rather do that than pay $15 for a McLaren with OH5s.
