I'm going to have a look later.

I'ts not got dammit. That's why I hated that series with a passion, they were freaking expensive and used wheels that a few years earlier could be found in the basic line. As lame as (most of) the cars themselves.

You are crazy. I'd take away points for those cars not having real riders, but they are still cool. Certainly not as cool as how much some of the models go for, but they are still nice. :D

Maybe half the buyers don't know that they have plastic tires.

P.S. This reminded me of a debate/argument I saw on HWC. Real Riders versus I think what they call Neo-Classics. I like Real Riders.

Where I got them they were around $2 each I think. Not that expensive considering the packaging, etc. Now the new Cool Classics are expensive...

Have you guys seen the Road & Track series? I believe they're done by Autoworld? They're supposed to be "true 1/64th" and it consists mostly of muscle cars. I was gonna buy the Henessey Camaro because i had that issue of Road & Track waaaaaaaay back when.
Plus it was supposedly only 2.75. It had headlights and taillights, rubber tires (plus the large mesh wheels were slightly wider in the rear. They had more dish), the hood opened, and it came with a display case.

Took it to the cashier and it wouldnt scan :( so i said to forget it, it was like 2 am amd i had been waiting in line for a while.

Same thing happened to me on the Olds 442 from the Car & Driver series from Auto World. It was a Toys R Us, and it didn't scan because they said the receiving people didn't check them in properly(already sold the car to Ben, though haven't shipped it yet). Car cost way more though, and it came with a display case.

Edit: Unbelievable.

I don't know how I didn't catch it before.

Thanks, Captain Obvious! I know that now.

Still looks better than the standard wheels by far, but Real Riders are the 🤬.

On recollection it was Car & Driver. I checked the tag multiple times, i was surprised it was like two buck so im sure its much more. Oh well :)

No wonder you like the Speed Machines so much!

On a totally unrelated note, I'm mad. I mentioned how TTP seller's been letting me down. I finally emailed one of the seller's and he says he just finally shipped it yesterday. Like a week & a half after the payment was received.

My best record on the longest wait between payment and ship is 2 weeks. Better luck next time. :P

CM6s are dope, guy. Did you now they are identical the the wheels used in the Honda Racer 3D renders you can find on the web? They look the closest to those 6-spoke wheels JDM nuts love. Whenever I see any stupid-looking cars on TTP with those wheels for $2, I grab them. :D

edit: Some dude just bought 4 HW Classics Mad Propz listed for $2.80 each; red, blue, olive and black. I was planning to grab it myself because they do look really cool in that two-tone/chrome scheme. That was partial impulse kicking in. Kind of glad someone bought it though, because I just saved myself another $10.

I googled what Jason typed & it came right up.

Ugh. I don't know if the term "best" apply to this.

URJ2
Fixed it for you! :D
They are dope!
Poor Shinji.

Still that Mclaren is pretty damn cool.
I concur on both points.

Love that one you blacked-out. 👍
