I'd almost welcome that...... but Mattel sure have been underwhelming with the Matchbox brand.

"Ex-Johnny Lighting now-Hot Wheels casting". It's a travesty!

Most JL cars weren't of my interest, though they did look pretty as a diecast and had rubber tires. It's too bad they go for more than I'm willing to pay, and we have Hot Wheels to blame for that.

Great stuff as well Dwight:drool:

Also got some grabs from yesterday, finally found BMW 1M, I've been looking for that for a while now:)

Thanks. And is that a blue Audi R8? Is that a new batch or something?

Also, has anyone seen the Dodge A100 Matchbox truck? I saw the pics on lamley months ago, but still have yet to see it in stores. Feels like awhile since the latest MB batch too.

I am a genius.

Guy lists two individual Speed Machines McLarens, I bid $7.50 for one, $15 on the other.

Lost the $7.50 by a dollar, win the $15 on the dot. 2 chances of winning; didn't lose completely.

Only way this loses is if you lose both auctions, or if you win both. I was ready for the latter because it's easily a valuable trade material.

Of the 3 scenarios, 2 of them were victories. Therefore, I'm a genius.

BTW that OH5 dark blue Speed Machines McLaren is still up for trades if anyone wants to come talk to me about it. ;) Better contact me before I turn it into a GaGa-inspired piece of art.

You snooze, you lose.

Just won a Kyosho longtail McLaren F1 in yellow for $1.50. Why? 'Cause no one else found it, sucka!

Still, you snoozed, and now it's gone. :P They probably negotiated with someone. I did that with a seller and he's still got an MR2 on hold, but still hasn't got back to me yet. Or they could've sold it elsewhere. For example, I had to idea of selling a lot on TTP and auctioning it on eBay simultaneously. If someone buys the listing before the auction ends, I take down the eBay listing. Otherwise, auction winner gets it and TTP's listing gets taken down.

BTW: 2 badass Kyoshos, 4 CMS Intergrales. $50. Get jelly.

edit: here's some more cool jelly. It's not a variation, but I found something you don't see everyday:

This thing just doesn't have that metallic brilliant finish like the regular ones. In fact, it's almost a completely flat dark blue. The shimmery flakes are still there, I think the undercoat is missing. That's assuming they prime their bodies with white.

Would love to see pics. What about the price of shipping?

Did come across...some B case cars at Toys R Us. Although...there were barely any. Some kind of futuristic buggy and a red BMW M3 E30. And that was about it.

@MedigoFlame, Like.. $8? It's coming from Japan. Some anime fanatic informed me that shipping costs from Japan are currently low (I don't even know how he got that kind of info). So I got on eBay right away for Kyoshos. Not even kidding.

Photos will exist once I get it in my hands in 2 weeks (maybe 1 if I'm lucky).

My opinion on darker/lighter cars is a slight difference in paint shades from week to week at the factory. Different date stamps on the bottom?

On the base? 2011, with the punched code "F12". Both of them. I compared it to my own as well as two other M3s at the store. It's even darker than the two Then And Now Mustangs ('71 & '12).

Found out why no one bought from that seller who had that Kyosho McLaren.

Guy made up his own little combined shipping rule which is ridiculous. Thought it would've been nice to buy a 1:72 model plane to place on my desktop, but I ain't buying it if adding that one more item brings my shipping up to $20.

Congrats on the MB cars Dwight! Hope to find the 1M soon...

Don't know if I'm late or not... But there's the new Holiday Hot Rods.

"White" white. Right.... I didn't want to look for a Yur so Fast, but I'm shocked to learn they put said car on the card and not have it in the series. The hell, Mattel?

Agreed, the Mustang would be cool...without the Holiday tampos...

Stopped by the flea market and Walmart. Found another Dropstars Nissan Skyline, VW Beetle Cup (only had one from my original collection back then, might as well get another), and even a 1:87 Malibu Internationals Porsche Carrera GT for 75 cents. (Should the CGT be in the scale models instead? >_>) At Walmart, I found some B-case cars. No Civic, but two DB5's!

Your Malibu works just fine here.

We're almost at the stage where we can change this thread to Small Scale Models. We've been breaking it with Kyoshos and Johnny Lightnings for the longest time.

Saw the actual pics of the HWC Grand National on T-Hunted and called to cancel my order. Decided I don't want it after all.

Gotta have the Datsun though, hopefully the guy at the meets will sell me his extra.

Meet gets:

- Matchbox Dodge A100 Pickup x2 for Canooooo
- Matchbox Nissan 350Z (gray)
- Matchbox Mazda RX-7 (pink)
- Hot Wheels Ford Focus RS in Green (AOS you needed?)

Passed on paying $5 for a new Herbie, thinking the price will come down. Nothing else caught my eye.

Just bought something from this stall again.

I found out that not all the Lambos are from the UCC. BOSS also had a promo as well, offering a set of Lambos too, in which I bought one of its cars.

Later, I'll post the photos of what I bought.
