I did get a message back for the other item. Guy has it listed for $10, so I asked him if he would take a cash offer for buy it now. He said he would consider it, so I offered $25 shipped and he declined. Apparently he paid $75 for the car in 1995 and although he doesn't expect to get that money back, he'd rather see how the auction pans out. Said there's a dozen people watching it too. So I guess I will see where it goes and if it's over my limit, so be it. It's a car I didn't know about, so not a big deal if it slips through my fingers.

This one:

I actually like those rims. I also found lime/green rims on eBay while looking at that one, and they are nice, too. Nice, considering they are plastic tires.

I just cancelled the Gulf GT40 order. This is the one that I ordered just one when I was completely new on Hot Wheel Collectors & didn't realize the shipping is same for one, or two cars. I then asked the customer service to change the quantity to two, but they said they can not. So I just cancelled it, reordered it with two GT40s this time.

That was an intense round.

4 MBX Land Cruisers, won 2, lost one for bidding later than someone else, and gave up on the last.

The good news is that I've finally got hold on some lesser common ones – the first editions and 2010 5-Pack, but I also had the chance to top the leading bidder for the Lesney Edition if I just put that one extra dollar on top since our max bids were the same.

The red one, the one everyone goes nuts for, wass already beyond more than I'm willing to spend a few hours ago and concluded at $81: http://www.ebay.com/itm/221312126570

Also, I found a new attachment to planes. Not the movie. I haven't watched that yet – heard it wasn't great, but I'm talking about Sky Busters. Totally on-topic too. I'm planning which ones to buy when I assemble (or acquire) a display frame for it all. What's sad to know during my search on the history of Sky Busters, a lot of the earlier recolours and castings were SO BADASS.

A versus? Is there even a contest?

Wasted all of yesterday planning this arrangement (while trying to keep the number of different sellers I buy from to a minimum)

I took too long and someone bought out the SR-71 Blackbird and the F-117A Stealth Fighter from one seller so I ended up having to look at 3 other sellers.

I thought of doing that. I even know how to get that made, but I haven't had time to due to school assignments.

$38 is a reasonable price for the vacuum-formed styrene you're paying for.

Is that Focke Wulf on the left? I like the F86, too. I don't care for the paint jobs, but I do like war planes. Personally, I'd be after a6m5(:P), BF109 for the WWII birds(probably Hellcat, too) & F4 for something more modern(but still totally & absolutely obsolete lol).
He pays what I paid or I keep them for myself. :P

Also, anyone ever seen these?

Not sure they are worth $38 + $12 shipping, but they are nice...
Boy, it's more than I'd spend for display, but that's because I don't display the cars. If you are looking to do that though, I think it looks quite nice for fiddy.

@a6m5, On the left, it's the F-117A Stealth Fighter, Dive Bomber, Stunt Plane, and Super Hornet somethingsomething F-18A. The middle two are likely based off a real plane (lol likely), but they never put a product code-like name on it so I'm not sure.

Looked up pictures of the Focke-Wulf, The Dive Bomber doesn't resemble it completely. The Focke-Wulf's got a portable septic tank attached to its bottom and a silly clothesline on top. :P

One below the "Dive Bomber" looks like a P51 Mustang(American). I'm gonna have to look at the Focke Wulf, but maybe Matchbox just loosely based on the real thing(I don't like that!).

Edit: I was going off the iron cross marking on the Diver Bomber's wings, but looks it just mislead me. First one I found on google had marking similar to British or French.

Going strictly by its features, it looks almost like a hybrid of zero(a6m5) & something like Hellcat.....

Let it be clear I've scored myself a spectraflame Black Cobra, as well as a spectraflame black and teal mad propz. So those on the look out need not grab one any longer. Thanks. I've secured myself a red, and can access the purple mad propz rather easily.

The SR-71 is my favourite plane, The B2 and F-117A are nice aswell

I third the sentiments on Sandman. I'm so mad at zak right now for shorting us of the shot from the front(he got the bottom! lol), otherwise, it's one of those cars that make you got "That's 1/64!? Really!?". Not to mention how awesomely unique it is. 👍

I hear you bro.

I don't even get into bidding war anymore, I either make the initial bid count, or last second snipe. Nothing in between.

My last eBay auction:

First & last in this case. It's playing dirty, but eBay system encourages it. If you can save money, you should save money. Personally, I've always said that bidding time should extend as long as people are placing (last minute)bids, but oh well.

Lastly, I mentioned that I had ordered Tomica Scion xB/Toyota Bb before? After tracking update died at the parcel being received at Hong Kong, I got my money back via eBay. I've been hitting the "tracking" button on the purchase page every now & then(not like I have life), it started moving the other day. Over a month later. I'm gonna wait until I actually have the item in my hands, but it looks like I'm going to owe certain eBay seller some money. :D

Edit: DUDE, it's $37 + $6.50 in shipping! YES!!

Edit2: I checked out the bid history. I guess the last two dollars was the competition bit. :D:tup:
