I forgot all about that car. It's one of those cars that if I see it in stores, I'd get one, but weren't they going for close to ten bucks online? Pass for me.

What makes me sick is that I bought two of those. I know I bought one for my nephew, so this makes two. As for the design, I don't think folks at Hot Wheels were very big on the "box".

Every time I look at the HW Scion, a6, I want to take a hammer to it. I resist with respect. It's still a Scion. Tempting, though, very tempting, and obviously designed for toddlers - bright and candy-like. Urg.

Salvage 5-speed transmission and everything to go with it this weekend, then all the new parts I need to complete the swap in a couple weeks plus registration and insurance. Gonna be crazy.

I can't believe you don't like the car itself, even. Then again, you probably hated the nostalgia series '55 Chevy Panel too, right? I loved that one.

I will pass on the car. I added it to my cart, along with the A-Team van, but together with shipping, it's $70+ for two cars. Granted, collectible hot wheels holds value, but when they are starting out that high, I just don't see it going up by much.

Yeah, thanks guys. $40 is too much of a starting price point. I like the casting, love the paint job, LOVE the box, but it's too much. I even passed on this A-Team van with a box that's just as cool, if not cooler($20 + shipping). I'm currently committed to eight hot wheel preorders & three tomica preorders. Never preordered so many items in my life!

I ended up running into older, but awesome RLC car(mine's still sealed). Much cheaper & at least to me, just as cool. It'll have to satisfy my hot wheel fix for the night.

That A-Team seems to be just a Retro Entertainment van with mud and display case, though you made me second guess & I almost ordered it. Pass!

Been away from this thread for a while. I picked up a 5-pack Maisto 2010 Fresh Metals yesterday from a $5 and under store and then another 8 Hot Wheels and 2 Matchbox from Target.

The Maisto pack is a Panamera (my reason for even getting the pack), Ford Super Duty, Dodge Charger, VW Jetta and Dodge Challenger. I'm going to open this pack up since it's a multi-pack.

HW I got are a black/orange Porsche 911 GT3 RS, Bump Around, Mystery Machine, black Toyota 2000GT, green Aston Martin DB5, Delorean, red BMW M3, and Herbie. Matchbox are VW Karmann Ghia and Lotus Europa.

I'll get pics later if I can find a camera.
