No but seriously, I'm not a fan. :P I just happened to like how you captured that spectraflame blue.
Thanks....... I guess.

As for the C-Case, Herbie & Civic, but rest are just 'meh' for me.

Same, although I want a Mars Rover but only with the brown tires. I found one today with the black tires and left it behind as it's exactly the same as the one from last year.

They're mostly prototypes/unreleased/paint test stuff, and of course that 700th million truck, which I had just seen in books. I'd gladly tap that redline Pacer, that thing is just unbelievable!

EDIT: Hell I'll make my own  /sad :indiff:

Great stuff A6, that Blown Delivery is awesome:drool:

Grabbed some stuff over the weekend:

Finally some 60th Anniversary cars I needed, only need 2 for the set now:D

X-Ray Grave Digger and lastly ERTL Ford FW-60

I hate this thread. Shut it down. But, then again - that still wouldn't prevent me coming in to see that bloody green E-type.

Alright, the truth, then: stupendous pick-ups. I'm all jelly. In fact I gone back to being just a salty mass, more jelly than a jelly-fish itself. Need to go shopping for cars soon; a lot I haven't posted, though, for lack of time.

Wow. I don't know anything about old hot wheels, but going by the prices, that's some big league stuff!

Generally, the older the car, the more valuable it is. That counts for both opened and unopened cars. Finding a car that old in decent condition is pretty much every hardcore Hot Wheels collector's dream.

Poop might go down at eBay for me because of this scumbag seller.

Ordered 2 items, $8.55 shipping on one, $12 shipping on the other. Combined shipping? $20!

Granted it's partially my fault for not reading the single line he place in the listing stating that's how he calculates combined shipping, the idea of doing that is ridiculous and lowly so I asked to take the second item out.

I asked three times and didn't get a single response. They were however attentive enough to open an unpaid case on me 4 days later so I could tell they were disregarding my messages deliberately. I'm not about to get my account suspended because they decided not to work things out with their buyer so now I'm waiting on what an eBay representative has to say about it.

Yeah, you've got to read the shipping policy like you are an 🤬 I always do. ALWAYS. Most sellers don't figure to make money on shipping, but there are sellers who do. eBay don't appreciate the sellers profiting from shipping, but I'd be surprised if they intervene on this one, if the auction clearly list their shipping cost structure.

Let this be a $8.55 lesson I'd say. "I'm sorry this happened to you."[/rickgrimes]

I noticed that too & had EXACTLY same thought.

Thanks zaky, I like your Matchboxes. đź‘Ť I've gotten the same Land Rover after seeing it in Andy's post awhile back, and it's one of those mainlines that casting & the paint job works so well, it gives you a realistic impression for a mere $1 car. :D
Some amazing cars in those Auctions Cano and finally someone else showing some Monster Truck love.
I have one in my collection. One.

I'm one of the exceptions, as older hot wheels do nothing for me. Every time I see the prices, I'm not gonna lie, I'm kind of glad.

For me, they are a moneymaker (if I choose to sell them) and spice my collection up. I found a loose (out of package) Greased Gremlin that's worth $8, and is the first version of the casting ever made. If it was carded, $80.00. Both prices and the picture come from here: http://www.southtexasdiecast.com/hwguide.

$15 counting the item I no longer want if I have to pay an extra $12 to get that shipped

I'll wait on eBay's response first.

If not, I'll just buy it anyway and leave a huge negative feedback. I only came to such a decision after I looked up their record and them not responding to people is not an unusual case, so I feel a little better about letting this scumbag feel my wrath.

I should take a step back from trusting sellers so openly and going back to when I first began using eBay. That was when I was looking up PVC figurines and had to check on everyone's feedback rating to see if they're legit or known for selling counterfeit stuff or poor service. I guess I got too comfortable over the two years not having any issues with most hot wheels sellers.

Yeah, going into any transaction on faith, on eBay or in real life is way risky.

Speaking of sellers who won't respond, my Tomica Scion xB/Toyota bB from eBay? When I initially opened case against them for lost shipment, they wouldn't respond. eBay take the side of customer in these cases anyway, so I got my money back. After I got the item, something like 6 weeks later or whatever, I contacted them telling them that I got the item, please send a PayPal invoice. Non-responsive. Again.

Oh, well! :D

Nice, nice, nice, nice. Gimme. I have lots of Gremlins. Not this one, though.

I keep a special eye on my packaged older car collection; and also why I buy First Editions and store them away. There's a lot of money in older cars - that's where the hard-core big, big-money collectors fish.

Check yard sales, toy sales, hobby stores, and any other place that could possibly have old Hot Wheels. And eBay. ;)

I had one recently. Sold one of those Jada Import Racers cars last Saturday and the guy didn't send payment right away so I sent an invoice on Sunday night. Got to Wednesday and nothing, so I sent him a message that he had till Friday night to pay me or I was posting negative feedback and re-listing the item. He waits until that night to send me a message saying he can't get PayPal to work for him to pay for the item or some BS. Luckily there were a couple other bidders and I sent one of them a second chance offer and they sent payment for it ASAP.

So...... I might receive my bill by Friday? j/k

:P

Well, at least the second chance came thru. Come to think of it, I had a guy like that on my Asics shoes on eBay, but he was the sole bidder. Fortunately, it went for more on my second try!
:lol:đź‘Ť
I was hoping someone recognize that.

Sorry, but you'll never do $8 nor $80 for neither of them, no matter what STD says, the GG is one of the most common early Black Walls, a minty one miiiiiight do 4-5 bucks, a carded one 15-20 depending on the card. I've bought mint ones for a buck.
