To continue the trend of variations and mishap production:

Found several rollcages myself.

Card's got a creased side, but whatever.

Car got rotated. Even the side light missed the mark!

I'm going to list this one. How much do you think I can get from this?

It even dripped onto the mirror!

Edit: ^^^ Not much on that Civic, if you sell it at all.

Just gotta know what to look for. Keeping up with the variation forums on HWC, etc. I read and knew about the wheel vari on the Circle Trucker so when I see them in stores I just glance at the wheels as I skim through them.

I think the Vari with the roll bar on the BMW is not as hard to find as many have said. It's got to be a regional thing, because all of them I have seen up until today have had the roll bar in them. First time I have seen one without today.

I'm going to see if John Ong will buy it off me. He insta-friended me on Facebook when I mentioned I had a tampo-less E30. But first I wanna see if someone is willing to bid even $10 on it. I've noticed as soon as something gets blown out of proportion, everyone rides an inflated hype train like a dummy.

Thanks Jason. 👍 Yes, my checking account now shows two charges by Mattel(Gulf GT40 & 917K), and it will soon show $77 by BRE. I wanted one of those cars anyway, so it was a no-brainer for me. Had I succeeded in securing the preorder, I don't know. Their choice of wheel(neo-vintage?) takes it down a notch, maybe two, for me. Real Rider's golden on most any cars, at least for me.

$77 is easy investment considering the autographs, but it would help tremendously if they actually number them by hand, or by sticker, or better yet, throw in a certification. They didn't mention it in the order page, but I hope they do. Thanks again for letting us know about the car.

Decided to go to a local hobby shop today scored 6 great 1990s first editions there were alot there but I didn't have enough money. They were $1.98 each.

Yesterday & today I checked Toys R Us for some hot wheels, but found nothing really. I did pick these up for my nephew(thanks for the tip on the LEGO cars Jason 👍):



There I see this older dude going thru hot wheels, right? I drive down to Target later, I quickly browse the hot wheels section, see nothing remotely new, I move on...... then I see that same dude from Toys R Us just starting to go thru the hot wheels again. As I'm walking off to get some food, I discover these on a separate pegs in another aisle & also in the small dump bin:



Score. Some of the new cars I've been hoping to find soon, but it's not over. As I look for the shortest line at the check out, I end up behind the same man. He has no hot wheels, but since I saw him going thru the pegs at two stores now, I'm certain he's a collector. Sure enough, he sees what I got on the cashier conveyor & we start chatting about the new cars & how he missed the other hot wheel bins altogether("oh, new cars!" lol). As I'm driving off the lot, I see him again! He was walking back toward the store. The End.

P.S. Those wheels on Civic, painted sort of flat black is MONEY. I very rarely like stock mainline wheels, but I do like this combination. 👍

Maybe I should try a Toys R us, I've found a few 2014s at Wallmart, Meijer, and Target but I haven't looked at Toys R Us yet. Hopefully if I go I can find a C7.

Herbie's next, right? I get the feeling this one's gonna be the next Back to the Future, or A-Team van. Impossible to find, at least at first. Just as long as it doesn't turn into the Ghostbusters, which was impossible to find at first, then it stayed that way!

The A-Team was a pain, I only ever saw it once and obviously grabbed it as you may recall. Back to Future I ended up getting from e-Bay, only for it to appear in abundance on the pegs after that. Hopefully Herbie's going to be a little easier to find.
