1/64 Model Collectors Thread

The A-Team was a pain, I only ever saw it once and obviously grabbed it as you may recall. Back to Future I ended up getting from e-Bay, only for it to appear in abundance on the pegs after that. Hopefully Herbie's going to be a little easier to find.

If I don't find it, most likely, I'm going after the Retro Entertainment one when it comes out.

Also, anyone need a Boulevard Skyline 2000GT-R? Picked up a loose one for a good price. If not, I'll just customize it or something.

I grabbed these from the same store as the 20 pack. There are a pair of yellow Bump Arounds, Ducati Diavel, Hiway Hauler 2 and another Mars Rover.

Edit: Just glancing on eBay to see if I could stumble upon an MC5 variation of the EF Civic, and I found out why nobody can find the damn things. Everyone is trying to sell them in lots of 3 to 30 cars! WTF people!

Either all the stores around me flat out suck or people get them before they hit the shelves. Nothing was worth grabbing for me so maybe ebay sometime soon since I'm not spending gas to drive all over in search.

Found a new light source for taking photos! Mah baffroom!

This is the truth. I know you hate guns, but guns are black & very tricky to get adequate lighting on it. In bathroom, I could take a photo of guns 24/7!

Either all the stores around me flat out suck or people get them before they hit the shelves. Nothing was worth grabbing for me so maybe ebay sometime soon since I'm not spending gas to drive all over in search.

Yeeeeeaaah that's what I'm talking about. It's unfortunate to say most Sky busters now have silly colours. If you want the cool ones, you should check out earlier releases. Same goes for Maisto Tailwinds!

Are you referring to TTP or Hot Wheels Club or whatever it is? I already signed p for TTP a little while ago since I had no clue til Jason brought it up but haven't done much looking there.

I found someone selling Neo-classics Shelby Cobras for $10 whereas I bought mine on eBay for $25 thinking it was a decent price.

Gulf GT40 is still available(HWC/RLC). It was the only Gulf series car that didn't sell out. It's $10 + whatever the shipping is(I think it's around $5~6 for one car). P.S. I'm not Jason!

Edit: Swung by different Target for some fish oil, this one netted me these:



Got two Civics, because the first one had bad tampo job(offset corner light). Way to pay attention, because while I checked the corner light on these, one has really 🤬 up b-pillar tampo. I don't know if Mattel's people are unskilled, or just don't give a crap, but it is disappointing.

They put above average detail on these Alfas:

It's the same casting as the mainline though isn't it? Don't know if I want to pay a premium for something online that's pretty much the same as something I can buy for $2 in the stores.

Very nice haul, jealous of the Alfa, Kombi and Herbie. Saw a Mars Rover yesterday but as there was nothing else I found, I was too lazy to wait in line for it. Already have two from last year anyway.

Got shipping emails for HWC gt-40 and Porsche, and bank was hit with drag beetle too. I guess they're hitting the ground running getting these out before the holidays

I hear you, but real riders tires are score big points with me. $5 price tag(MSRP) is a whole another thing though.

I have the Curiosity from last year, but been looking for this one, since it has the Martian dirt on the tires. I was shocked to find bunch of Kool Kombi(got 1 & another for my nephew), as earlier Kombis were pretty hard to find!

I did get the shipping confirmation on the GT-40, and 917K seems to be on the way out. 👍 I'm just sorry it's such an long wait for the "prize", the Gulf Drag Bus.

Have you heard any word on the Holiday Drag Dairy? I think the backorder release date was still January sometime......

Been awhile since I posted on here, but I'm baccckkk!!! Any cool cars you guys picked up or posted for hunting? It's been kinda dry for me in the HW and MBX, even in San Diego, the cars were dry, except for the recent cars I already got and at least I got to look at the 2014 HW lineup though !

Love the Lambo and BMW Z4 GT RCK. 👍
