That's horrible! You be one of those sellers who charge $22 to ship a 5 ounce item! :yuck:

LOL, I normally under charge folks but eh it is what it is and even worse since postal prices went up recently. The weird thing is shipping in the states it's only a couple bucks difference between priority 2 day and first class usually, makes no sense.

I got an electric scale at Walmart for super cheap, think it was under $20. For a single loose car I usually charge $3.80 and the actual charge for the shipping is around $2.50 using the online service. It's always more expensive to pay for shipping at the post office.

I bet it's more expensive at the post office because they round up on the measuring. I've done a calculation using the website and when I take it to the post office, the amount is a tad higher.

What I mean by that is that they aren't getting exact measurements by physically lining up the tap measure to the parcel. The lady here slants her measuring tape which would make a longer length when reading the tape.... just to save time.

Three cars today...... No School Busted! I've been holding it off, finally order them, they show arriving on Saturday, but I did not get a pick up notice. :( Anywho:

Hot Wheels Collectibles/Limited Edition/Black Box 1957 Cadillac Eldorado

Pink's the new one, green's the old.

Hot Wheels Toyota Supra The Fast & the Furious(Walmart Exclusive) + Mainline

Auto World has a GT40 out right now that is really nice. I would buy it if I had the money bags like you guys to get the expensive cars. :P
I had no idea they made one. That sounds delicious.
Legacy for me. Been looking at that particular one for a while now, but I can't bring myself to pay the $20 they go for on e-Bay. One day......maybe.
Legacy isn't on my list, but it's a looong list let me tell ya.

You can't get rid of me that easily. :P
Sometimes, I think to myself........ If SVX never created this thread, how much $$$ would I have saved? Do I wish I had a time machine?.......... Probably.
Atleast it's not as bad coming from the States to you compared to the other way around (I know a few folks who buy stuff here and shipped cheaper than they can buy it there). So far there are a few places I buy things from in Australia that are good about trying to work out the best deal (2 1/43's are about $20 bucks shipped but that transporter was $50). I think it's the motorsports superstore that charges a flat rate of $12 bucks for anything you buy or regardless of how many shipments too (only thing that sucks about them is you can't make payments).

So far the best person I have dealt with outside them is Trevor at T-bar model cars!
Why did USPS do away with surface shipping? They are killing me(and Ben)!
International postage on one car would not be worth it, but next time your thinning out your collection let me know.
I sure will Ben. Before too long, I think.👍

Where in the store do I look for something like that?
Does this mean you already got one? P.S. When will BRE charge us for theirs do you think?

Dat Espada :0

Also, VEEEEERY nice Cadoos, A6. Been chasing them for a while myself.
KinkyRasta69 on TTP listed the pink one few weeks ago..... I already had the green one so I fought off the urge, but that last time, not so much. I'm glad, it's pretty. I have few more cars coming from the same seller(recommended seller), maybe this week.

Near the packing/office supplies I think. You can also use a food scale.

No I got that off T-Hunted. Don't know about you but they charged me for mine right when I bought it...

I'm gonna have to check it out. 👍

I was thinking we knew what they looked like already, but I guess majority of the members haven't seen that card yet.

Was it $76.95? I just checked my account & found this: "DEBIT CARD DEBIT INT*BRE 702-558-3374 WA" 12/1/13

It says BRE, so that's probably it. Come to think of it, it was roughly $70 car with $7 shipping. Money($76.95 more)in the bank!

I can't believe someone posted pictures of Subarus and didn't let me know. :(

You mean you don't get a notification when someone posts a picture of a Subaru? Probably should talk to Jordan about that. :dopey:
but it's a looong list let me tell ya.

Aren't they all?

You've got way too much time on your hands, a6.!

2000GT, no doubt.

Yep, 2000GT gets my vote as well. Looks great in that shade of Blue. 👍 Actually I really like the look of that Celica underneath it too.

I hadn't seen it but I don't really like that one compared to the other variation with Real Riders (not that I have either or will score one) since I'm always late to the party.

You guys paid roughly $77 for that?

Kyosho 1:64 Lamborghini Espada:
That blue color really caught my attention. Fits very well with the Espada's rather awkward styling.

Dear god yes

Difference is, ours will come autographed by John Morton, the driver that took the BRE Datsun to the Trans Am title in 1972 (iirc) and the guy who prepared the car for racing, Peter Brock. So, yeah, a bargain at $80 if you ask me.

Well it's coming directly from BRE, so I doubt it.

Exactly, that is why I did jump on it. If it was a retailer offering it or something, I would have passed, but coming directly from BRE, I trust it will be the real deal.

I also much prefer the real riders version. As Cano said, we are getting the double-autographed version straight from BRE, so it's sort of a $77 investment for me. Most likely, I will get the stock one from eBay or TTP, but I won't pay any more than $30 for it(hopefully closer to $20).
Could've been signed by some nobody for all we really know.
In which case, we'll just resell it on eBay. There are always some fool who'd fall for stuff like that........ wait.
