Which one's more uncommon? These are landing here already and if I remember correclty mine has the rollcage, so I'll keep an eye our for the other one.

Hot Wheels Drag Strip Demons Roland Lelong's Hawaiian Charger

I was going to say you got a varaiation of this car in the form of front wire wheels instead of the more common small Torq-trust style like mine has:
$_35.JPG

but after a bit of digging it turns out mine is the less common variation, at least worldwide. I don't remember ever seeing one in here with front wires (yes, at hard as it may seem to believe, the first batch of these marvels were sold here in stores), all had small Torq-Trusts. So I think mine would be rarer than yours if it was with you, and yours would be way rare if it was with me.

Oh, and it's Roland Leong (:

I appreciate your insight, and it is SO funny you bring this up: I went back & forth between TTP & eBay looking for your variation, but I couldn't find one for $4.99, so I finally decided on mine. I really wanted that chrome ambulance from Kinkyrasta, and his combined shipping's reasonable,, so..... Finally, I just think the rear tire/wheels are so wicked on this thing, I had to have it. 👍

I also have the black snake one from the same series. I bet that has your style front wheels, as I don't think I've ever bought a car with these BBS-looking wire style wheels.

Lol BBS. Come one, dude, BBS wasn't even around when this was happening. These things wore wire wheels in the most literal sense of the word:
page9_blog_entry106_summary_1.jpg

But there is absolutely no way you can pull these off in 1/64 scale. These and the JL wires are as good as it gets.

And yes the black Snake Cuda uses small Torq-Trusts at front. No variation of that car that I'm aware of.

No no no no no, you come on. By "BBS-looking", I was referring to the toy wheels, and how none of my hot wheel cars have it.

So, its now just one day until Christmas, so in case I am not on GTP on Christmas, Merry Christmas!

Hope you get some goodies. I'll post whatever I get.

Base codes on the ones with the roll cage are around F40 to F42. Most found without the cage are F44. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say the ones with the cage will be harder to find, but not super hard.

I sold one of the red Seagraves, and wish I hadn't. I do plan on hanging on to the two yellow Seagraves I picked up. They are awesome.
This has to be one of the coolest things you've posted, ever. Digging that Fury too. Screw you.👍
Thanks, but really? My favorite funny car is this one:

By far, my favorite. JL Fury's are very cool. I think I have another Fury police car, and it's in the next batch of cars to be opened. One of the few cars I bought new, and has risen in value since!
If I get some time tomorrow, I'll post the thing I'm getting. Spoiler alert, it's awesome. :D
Goody! I can't wait. :D

Eeeww. The casting is good, but they have never released it in something remotely resembling a funny car. I've always wanted one to really do something with it.

When the hell did you get that? Like to think I would have remembered that particular one. Still, my vote goes to the Charger. 👍
Goody! I can't wait. :D

You already know what it is though.

Also Lamley posted this, 620 re-colour.

Them fine female-doggin' cars you shared, Shinji. 👍 👍

I forgot to ask, @Jasoon, is the rollcage an unofficial variation or could it just be an error?

Contrasting reactions. Me, it's one of the best purchases I ever made.

I posted it probably few months back.

Ah. Awesome car. 👍

Thank you man. 👍

Yet another official cost cutting variation by Mattel. Never understood how getting rid of a small piece of plastic saves them money on a car that probably costs them .20 cents to make.

Less than actually, but the investment likely does add up in their favour in the long run.

Anyhow, the Land Rover Defender is a casting I'm out to complete, but I may have to skip on the 2007 Toy Fair one. This is why. Note the variety of high bidders signifying how much people are willing to pay for it, let alone the one dude who's out for blood.

I don't go out to stores all that much these days since I have little shifts each week. Even then, I haven't found anything other than MC5s on my search for the PR5-let alone spotting OH5s. Do you want to defer the trade for a later date in that case?

That's fine.

Edit: @AOS- Borrowing my parents car for the night so I plan on hitting tons of stores. I'll report back if I find one. Don't go out of your way to look, just saying if you happen to be at a store keep an eye out. :)

Went out to do some last-minute Christmas shopping, and no surprise that I wandered off to my our natural habitat, where I found some Cool Classics to add to my collection.

Even the castings I like, I've passed on Cool Classics. Just do not do it for me. I did buy the same Beetle, but I ended up giving it to Ben. If they do throwback JDM, I may get them.
Ah, okay. Clearly I missed that.
I do post a ton, and I don't think I can remember them all(but I'm old lol).
Indeed it is. Can't wait to get my hands on it tomorrow. 👍
Get a niiiice light on that paint job!
Retro, without being boring. 👍
Also, @a6m5, you gave me an idea with the BBS thing. But I need a donor ):
Don't look at my car! j/k

You are crazy. People were telling me that retail stores, especially the parking lots are going crazy.

Cyclone doesn't look too bad. The Turbine is still the only CC I've wanted to have.

The Turbine is pretty awesome. I love those things.

My plan for the CCs is to get all 30. I missed this opportunity with the Classics series from a while ago, so I intend to make up for it.

EDIT: @a6m5, check this link out, and keep checking periodically for updates to the list:
