You're basically paying extra for a box with a brand name.

I could get a similar one for half the price.

Off-topic.... I could get the TLV Nismo iDX when I go to Japan this August. By that time, it has been released and available in pegs.
Got that link again?

Is that a "special" dealer edition? ...i think things like that are rip offs

Yep, it's a special dealer edition. They also released a Tomica casting of a GT500 R35 GT-R with Motul livery.

For 28 USD in Daboxtoys...

I could've got that Motul R35 for around $8 that comes with Lego rip-off figures and a few other stupid little accessories.

The point of this post: Don't buy it from DaBoxToys.

That annoys me. Not only because of the casting...but just the price in general.. infact, the Kyosho Motul R35 was cheaper...

I knew that Hot Bird was special but I had no idea it was as special as your CIPSA. I nearly brought a lot of 200+ cars a couple of years ago to get a brown Hot Bird but I was sniped. The lot of cars that this Hot Bird came in only cost me $9 AUS plus postage.

You missinterpreted my comment by a few thousand units  a brown Hot Bird will never be as rare as a CIPSA, but it is indeed a great piece, that is why I said it was the most signifcant car to be posted here since my CIPSA, but far from being as rare or as valuable. Still a great car and a freaking steal at that price, and with great extra cars to boot!

Neighborhood Market? Never heard of that. :dunce: We only have a Super Center here, although I suppose I could take the half hour drive to another town if I really wanted.

It's like a smaller version of Walmart, with mostly a grocery store vibe. Not sure if there are any in your area, they are all over here.

My work appears to have stopped stocking Hot Wheels again. A shame as there was a solitary 458 in black with a stripe. Was hoping to get some new 2014s.

Future collecting, investing, and customizing are what's on my spur-of-the-moment to-do list for that car. First collecting, as always.

These two took over 3 weeks to arrive. Also, 100% Celica came with the blister partially open. Not all sellers are equal. :ouch:

Hot Wheels K-Mart Mail-in '55 Chevy Panel

Hot Wheels 100% Toyota Celica

Also, some random cheap, but neat cars:

I've been to just one(brand new). No hot wheels.
Here's a nice pic of it on the card.
God, what is up with the color. I also think FTE wheels would have improved its looks[/MRPICKY]

I like the '55 Chevy Panel. I just had to have this one, too(I think it's my fifth or sixth). Airplane is neat. Reminds me of WWII Navy plane due to the color. 👍

Been routinely checking 3 Walmarts for G case dump bins lately. One of them got theirs in, cleaned out of Fiats and Zamacs. Other two stores are behind the times I guess, still no bins. 👎

I'm looking for a flat black Honda Civic Boulevard car. The one I have now has a couple of splits on the blister. The ups and downs of collecting. I'm going to try to find one tonight if I go somewhere. :(

I'm pretty sure you guys know which one I'm talking about, but I'm going to look for a picture. :)

Please excuse my ignorance towards the subject of collecting cars, but what do you mean when you refer to a "g case" car? And I picked these up today:
