@Johnny1996 Free. Nice. That black/gold on the Turbothing really hits the spot. đź‘Ť

I opened one package today, but this one contained quite a few cars:

Johnny Lightning Dodge Super Bee

Greenlight '70 AAR Cuda & Convertible

Greenlight '69 Dodge Charger R/T

Johnny Lightning '59 DeSoto Fireflite

ERTL '58 Plymouth Fury

Johnny Lightning '67 Plymouth Fury

JL '67 Plymouth Fury II Ottawa Police

Racing Champions Fast & the Furious - Dom's '70 Dodge Charger

JL '70 Plymouth AAR Cuda

M2 Machines Drivers - '71 Plymouth 440 Cuda

Last Cuda I love so much.
Thanks for those cars and Im glad to see you finally got a Zombie truck.
I am, too & you are welcome. :D:tup:

Isn't that red/white Cuda the best? Too bad I can't take pic's worth a damn. When I opened the packing to see the car with my own eyes, I went "whoa". I never go "whoa" revealing a hot wheel car!
Your sudden love for Ma Mopar has made me love you even more. Great grabs dude.
I've always liked MOPAR, but that's not why I've been buying them like crazy. It's due to the trend by this TTP seller.

Actually, lot of them have been impulse buys & some will be shipped to Ben & some I have marked up & put on eBay. It's my theory that wide variety of listings attract potential bidders to other, cheaper items you might be selling, so even if they don't sell, they may buy my mainline cars. :P

Stopped by Walmart to get some parakeet food and came across the dump bin! Quite barren, but manged to find one Fiat 500.

First photo taken with my new phone.

I just don't get the fascination with the Fiat. I don't get the real car, I don't get the hot wheel casting. That red Alfa was kind of nice, but I pass on most mainlines these days. I simply have too many for my liking.
No, it's not. The best 1970 Cuda casting is the one from Greenlight. Not even the M2 car can touch it, the Greenlight is absolutely, perfectly spot-on.
You are right, it is dead-on....... but M2 still wins with style points! At least for me. :P

Edit: Interesting fact: That Greenlight Cuda's whole roof is plastic. It's just painted over plastic. Kind of neat, actually.

Of course you don't go "whoa" with a Hot Wheels car, because they are $1. I'm sure it would be different if they were $5+ like your fancy pants cars, Mr anti-Hot Wheels.

Scoped out my new hunting grounds tonight, a single Walmart and a single Target. Yay for small towns. Anyway, G case stuff already picked through and no Fiats. :grumpy: Target was a bust.

Yes, it's plastic. I have both that ragtop version you bought and a green ragtop off the Auction Block series. I had never seen the AAR version. Now I must have it.

I meant 'hot wheel car' as in any toy car of its type, likes of M2, Kyosho included.

Then why'd you tell me to buy one?! Are you trying to make me go broke?!

HW Fanboy detected.

Nope. Settings never changed, so it couldn't have been. I was suspicious it may have been blogger and I confirmed it after uploading to facebook and noticing colours weren't lightened up. Turns out it was Blogger's auto-enhance feature that was screwing it up. The amazing part is that I haven't touched that setting ever and only now had it become an issue.

All the more reason to mod it now.

Also found this on Ertefa:

Pic is bad ass , glad you found the solution, my computer changed colour specs on me. Love the pic

Christ, Andy. That wasn't me, it was this guy. Come on man.....

Its called "truth". Afterall this is the Hot Wheels &Matchbox thread. Maybe the fancy pants cars need their own thread.
I think yabig has it right:

Let's just all enjoy little toy cars shall we! :D

If this was a hot wheels forum, I tend to agree with Jason. On gtplanet however, yet another hot wheel-related thread I think is a stretch.

Then maybe we should stop talking crap about a brand I enjoy collecting. And don't call me a fanboy ever again, I detest that word and all you're going to do is piss me off.
Did you read my reply? I think it was just a misunderstanding & I don't think anybody said anything about hot wheels.

Of course, you look thru this thread & there will be jokes, rants & constructive criticism about any of the brands(mostly by me lol), but that's just how it is on a internet forum. *shrug*

I can only speak for myself on this, (but diecast brand preference aside), the reason the HW Fiat 500 is desirable to me, is that it's the 'Fiat 500 Sport'.
I have 4 of the Majorette casting, but that's the 'Fiat 500 Popular'.
I only wish i could find the HW 500.

I'm sure you'll start seeing them eventually. Walmart where I found one of those for Ben, it was the only one with the new releases & they had handful of those.

500 is certainly popular in my area & I do see few of them everyday. I think I may associate the design with the old, 80's Honda Civic, and I find this Fiat design just done to death....... don't get me wrong, it is a neat design & it's just personal taste thing. I've yet to see one on the street, but that blacked out Abarth edition from the TV commercial does look really cool.

HW casting, I think Mattel did a decent job, but it doesn't look anything special to me(then again, the real car is 'meh' to me ;) ).

Are people not allowed to have their opinions on a casting? I've been made fun of for buying a lot of crummy mainlines in the past and even I don't get offended about it.

I have no intentions of peeing you off, and I personally find it difficult to get along with you when you get upset that easily. The fanboy remark was a joke, take it easy.

Just found 3 homers on the shelf at my local dinkie little supermarket. Pretty happy with that! Also had the falken supra, that fastbed hauler thing and some other cool stuff without really digging through. The Homer's will do me for now though.

Gives me hope to find them in Melbourne!

What brand supermarket?

One of the most aggravating things about collecting Hot Wheels up in Canada is that it's like I never even got a chance at some of the cases/castings.

I don't even care about that Homer, but I do wish I got a chance at a DB5.
