Kyosho has officially announced their first ever Subaru Minicar Collection:

lineup.jpg

Release date: June 3
:drool::drool::crazy: That's so awesome.

I don't know much about Majorettes. I'll take a couple of pics when I hit the stores.

That could be interesting; what's on the pegs out there north of Jutland?
Here's what we would most likely see over here:

The HWs are by Mattel, of course.

Not many people collect cars here. Those who do, mainly collect Tekno. (I believe)

Tekno! You said Tekno! I haven't heard that name in years.

The Lonely Hunter.. I like the sound of that. 👍

Err... not mine ... comes from the title of a book: The Heart is a Lonely Hunter.

An online shop..
Don't you use the word "webshop"?

Not over here. Or in thhe middle, either. Over there is that what it is?
I'm going to use that word now, make everybody around me feel real backward and not 'with it.'

Oh, by the way... What's up with the off/of thing?

Bad English. Don't learn from me. Editors throw mice and blue pencils at me. :D

Land+Rover+Defender+(2006+MBX+Metal:Small+6spoke).jpg

I think I should uncard a lot of my cars. This one had a poor condition card. It's a 6-(small) spoke variation 2006 MBX Metal Defender 110S. The one with the bigger 6-spoke wheels is going to be tough to find. I'll probably just forge it. :P

with a group shot from me:
That is a diorama shot of parking lot, right after Jack Johnson concert ended, right? Fans spending two hours to get out of the parking lot?

I really want & need one of those BRZ's to go with the two Kyosho OEM Toyota 86's I have.
That would be neat. 👍
You don't have an idea. The other day, out of the blue: "I just surpassed 200 Kyoshos!" So yeah, what can you say to that?
Term "mind blowing" comes to mind..... oh, it's gone. :dunce:
Ha, they're not neighing!
You are one sharp cookie. Good catch. :D:tup: @RCKakashi14 - Great couple of posts, by the way! 👍

I almost always do this now. Some cards come in nasty condition, like it survived Katrina or something! I throw away dirty, nasty cards. If it's bent, it may be gone also. *shrug*
Real is better.
I don't get it. They are both 24/7 or whatever, right?

By "Real", were you just referring to the original setup(w/original wheels) then?
Andy likes to create fake variations to please himself, I said real variations are better. Then I posted a photo of my newest acquisition. No fake cars here.

SVX
Finally, this is the day a well known company brings out an SVX.

That Jasper quote, classic. And I think that might have been the first time I've seen a model of the SVX, don't recall ever seeing one before.
You don't have an idea. The other day, out of the blue: "I just surpassed 200 Kyoshos!"

!

Yeah well, I've got three. Actually technically it's four, one's still in the mail.
That would be neat. 👍

It would, definitely going to have to get at least one BRZ. 👍

You don't get it? I'm adapting what you once told me and am applying it to forgery. :P Here, I'll apply your same idea again:

Andy likes to forge variations to please himself. Jason likes to buy real variations to please himself. It should actually be "Andy forges to please others." I can't lie to myself.

Having a real variation is self-fulfilling in that you know yourself you got hold of something legit, therefore you can show off that wonderful rare variation to everyone else. There's no lie of any kind, what you possess is truthful (the car itself is real), thus what you share has to be truthful (that photo is of a variation). But be aware that self-fulfillment is something we can't feel. We can only believe that you have something real.

Having a forged variation won't be self-fulfilling, but only I would know which variations I post are legit. No one has evidence to prove whether a photo of a variation I post is truthfully real or not. All you would know is that I'm sharing a photo of a wheel variation. In the end, we both do that. The only difference is that you yourself know your own cars are real and that nobody knows if mine are fake.

It's all perspective thinking in short. Hope that makes things clearer.

It's funny to me that you think that is ok, it's obvious you don't care. You just strait up labeled yourself untrustworthy, I hope you know that.

I'm talking in the subject regarding truth and lies of photographs. Maybe now you'll understand the big picture of what I'm saying.

But in response to your post, that is partially true (because I am setting myself up to look untrustworthy), but most of this is actually (believe it or not) you jumping to conclusions that I'm untrustworthy. It's a psychological thing most people don't notice. I mean, if you think about it... I didn't label myself "untrustworthy". You did. I said something about forging variations (I didn't show you proof of anything supporting it), and then you took that allllllll the way to "untrustworthy" on your own. Re-read your post. I'm not even trying to upset you, I'm showing you a brain-teaser. ;)

The thought-provoking question I'm trying to say is "who's to say any of our photos are legitimate? That they belong to us and that the cars depicted in those photos are real?" And to take it closer to the point: "Who's to say they aren't real?".

I can understand i you still don't get what I'm saying, but that's what I find amusing, not making fake cars. Does anyone understand the point I'm trying to make about the extent of legitimacy in photographs?

@photonrider, I'd love to hear what you can say about this.

Hi guys, cars I got today.

Toyota-Automobile-Museum-0403-copy.jpg

That's my new Tomica case, I swear to god(mike garrett is my middle name).

I also got a new real life car today. It's a GT-R race car from the 60's.

That's me on the right. I apologize for the cellphone picture(hand me down from gotbeefboy).

If you report me on that ludicrous claim thread nonsense, I'll kill you, thanks.
Must do better, Shinji.
If it wasn't for those damn double-digit shipping fees! Maybe we should merge our collection by having yours shipped to me, then we may have mere 190 or so to go? No? OK.

Seriously, great score for the price. Congrats. 👍
Thanks! :) I wanted the Tomica Limited Vintage version, but they are $50+.
