B-spec is not going to be forced, except maybe for a license test tutorial.
See that picture of the Professional Hall in the middle of page 9 on the right? The top event only has an option for B-spec. Not a good sign.

The top event is cut in half (notice only the bottom of the '5' is showing) so you can only see B-spec. The A-spec option is still there.

oh nice
they mention about having track day style driving. you pay admission and u can run along AI cars. not like a empty track with yourself only during free run

Sounds intruigung; could be interesting and frustrating in equal measures. On which page is it referred to?

Still no infos about racing modify...

In GT4, the body will be weak if you have mileage.
If the body is weak, it will effect to cornering.
You know the old cars are Strained, shaken and creaken
when you runs it fast.

"Body reflesh plan" will get back the strenght of the new cars has.
5,000,000cr.....Maybe factory workers are rewelding and adding
carbon parts or something :)

"Roll cage" is not use to protect from the roll over this time.
It will improve your cars strength. The old cars and open cars
body is weak. So if you want to get better handling, you can
add the roll cage.

This time, used cars body is weak as it mileage. If you want to
run Cobra427 fast, you must to reflesh the body, and add the
roll cage. Very expensive isn't it?

I'm guessing since it's in three stages, that's Weight Reduction making a return. I'm probably wrong though.

It could be 3 levels of body regidity. I cant see how a strut brace can represent weight reduction.

Hmm....I don't think PD use strut tower bars icons for weight saving.
Well, we can use bars to change handling in many ways.
It is not strange to have lot of stages.

Looking at the Tuner Cars, we have:

HKS
Opera
Tom's
RE Amemiya (er, however it's spelled)
Spoon
Trial
Amuse
Blitz
Mine's

And most likely others, although I'm confused as to whether TRD/Nismo/Mugen would be included there or not, since they're so closely related to the original manufacturers. I can't make out the American Car companies, but it's interesting to note Polyphony is counted as a maker in Japanese Cars. So there's a fair chance the old F1 cars will be returning. Or something new...

Also, the Mugen S2000 seems to be in, judging by the final scan. Excellent 👍

Well, it may look wierd, but it's the same icon that they used for "Lightweight" (Stages 1, 2 & 3) in GT3 - (I just loaded GT3 to check)...

I wonder if Sony / PD have restrictions on what is allowed to be featured in the reviews in relation to content.

It just seems odd to me, that no new Track locations are featured in the review other than those already announced or seen before, same deal with the cars (with possible exception of the Carbon R or does that feature in the Official Demo book list?) :odd:

Uh actualy they are parts of the original manufacturers.
Like Ford's SVT division.
Or Chrysler has SRT
A company closely related that does tuning would be like Saleen, Roushe, Steeda, Kenny Brown, etc..
TRD, Nismo, and Mugen are just the performance divisions of Toyota, Nissan, and Honda repectively.
Like in Japan you can special order a Nismo Skyline through certains Nissan dealerships. Just like in the USA only certain Ford dealerships can sell SVT Cobras, SVT Lightning, and SVT Focus. Although the Lightning and Focus are done for now.
Also the same with Saleen, Roushe, and Steeda. You can only get em through certain dealerships, usualy the same ones that carry SVT vehicles and parts. Kenny Brown however is less closely related with Ford. You have to buy a car then they will tune it afterwards. But they still have ties with Ford and Team Mustang.
And Chrysler really has two performance divisions, but one is specific to Dodge.
R/T or now it's RT is Dodge only. But SRT is used across the board on Chrysler, Dodge, and soon to be extended to Jeep...

i think its one big preview, not a review...

What exactly do the American manufacturers list say?

Plymouth -> ?????? -> DMC
Pontiac -> Chrysler? -> Eagle
Saleen -> ?????? -> ??????

u are pretty wrong.
Chrysler/Dodge have Mopac. SRT is just a line of cars. there are no "SRT" parts for those dodge cars.... u can even get ur SRT4 to have 3 different stages of tuning from the dealer with those Mopac packages.

and TRD, Nismo and Mugen are independent companies that are own by Toyota, Nissan and Mugen. its not the same as a "division", thats why Nismo can release a limited run for 400HP R33 400R under their name.

they also have their own dealership (plus other Nissan dealership) that sells the Modification products

Um, it's Mopar, not Mopac.

Toyota Racing Development (TRD) is a division of Toyota. They are not independent.

Nissan Motorsports (NisMo) is a division of Nissan. They are not independent.

Mugen is owned by a relative of the owner of Honda. They are independent but still considered Honda's factory tuner.

R/T and SRT are just model trims. Chrysler's actual performance division is PVO, an offshoot of Mopar. PVO is responsible for the creation of the entire SRT line. Mopar merely sells parts for all Chrysler products.

SVT is the equivilant of PVO. Ford Racing Performance Parts is the equivilant of Mopar.
