p.s. i got my nitous injected mini cooper with only 267 hp (off the juice) up to 211.67 mph

is ±340 mph

WOW, Sorry I doubted you before. It's just you said without any shortcuts and the whellie trick is basiclly a shortcut, though in someways it's just an alteration to the set-up, who knows. Even though you did hit it using the whellie trick, there is no shame in admitting it first time round. 👍

okay, it isn't really that hard i know. it is just a novelty fact.

i not only broke the land speed record, but shattered the sound bearier with my front wheels dangling around in the air uselessly. the replays are histerical. funny sounding too.

Can this 'cheat' possibly apply to real life? Or would a lack of downforce already fling the car backwards at high speeds? And would the tires last, regardless of compound?

first lets just focus on power. the key component

in order to accelerate that fast with a car, you would need a horsepower amount so high it is litterally unfathomable.

the worlds fastest jet cars are reaching just on the border of the speed of sound. to put that into perspective, it has 2 (I believe) sr-71 blackbird engines. ( I am asuming you know a little about planes, the berkut aircraft are not mentioned that often)


next, wheels and tires. the wheels have to be machined from solid billet chunks of aluminum so precisley that if not done properly will literally, and I mean litteraly explode at those speeds. tires would also melt.


at that rate of acceleration and speed, body work would rip off and destroy itself.

in the game, the car acclerates the faster it goes, and only stops due to hitting the wall. the car itself is capable of so much more!!!

Sure it could flip a real car backwards. But then everything would end...you'd possibly have a dead or very injured driver! As nitrorustler said, the tires would have to be of a more advanced nature to endure that sort of punishment.

It does.

The engines are Pratt and Whitney J58s, turbo-ramjets, to be exact. It's all very interesting how it works...

yup the shock diamonds from the exhaust look sick in real life. i have seen them on the jet cars at the drag strip. watching those things run is like getting punched in the head by chuck norris. it hurts bad, and doesn't feel right, and leaves you messed up, but man it is cool.

And yet, it's a shame that the exhaust contrails made the SR-71 so easy to detect on radar despite its stealth-oriented design.

Even using a Hybrid, this would still by near impossible!

With a hybrid (without any GS or CB or AR) I have only achieved in th 390's- MPH have not broken 400, but with a power multiplier from a CB code I can achive over 500 MPH, and with the Wheelie trick I have locked up the game with some un-godly number in the Billions of MPH.
