Alright Alright sorry guys about that off topic thing I wasn't having the best of days. ;)

Great entries guys! I don't think mine would look good because mine look GREAT on my monitor but I looked on an Apple monitor a few minutes ago and my entries look like crap.

What car is that Danger? Very crisp though! 👍

Its a '62 Lotus Elan w/ apx220 HP, & yes I did beat that Skyline!

What I was trying to do with my picture was showcase my favorite part of drafting. This is when you stay behind a car for a while to build up some speed, then once you get going fast enough you can move to the side and blast by him, especially fun on a high bank like this. I will understand if my entry is unacceptable, and will try to come up with a new one. Thanks.

Details: Create a picture of two or more cars on any track (No photo travel locations), and set them in the procedure of a slipstream manoeuvre. You are to use certain effects (motion blur, etc) to the cars.
In addition, I will also allow close overtaking on the boundary of a corner (which usually results after a slipstream).

All cars used must have similar power.

I have similar concerns about my last entry. It was taken during an overtake going into a corner, but a comment made saying that there were too many shots that werent what the topic was asking so I changed it....but Id rather stick with my original :indiff:

Sorry about that. But if yours was a pic of the car overcoming the other at a corner, then your was just fine. You didn't have to change it. That was part of what the rules asked for.
 
Thats exactly the kind of shot I wanted to get, but I couldn't get it quite right and had to go with another shot. Thats a great one.

Further explination: Its right after the long stretch on the motegi road course...as you can see the brakes are redhot as they slow down for the righthander with the opel overtaking. :)

I also didn't see the glowing brakes before. Now that I see them, I can accept your entry :)

The cars in your picture have different levels of power and speed, like one of them is a racecar. One of the rules called for a similarity in speed and power so that the slipstream would be necessary to overtake.

Did you use Photoshop to get that speed blur or was it some other editing program? I've been going thru all my plug-ins and whatnot in PS (450 plug-ins) and none of them gave me that kind of effect.

I'm not saying that you should tell me how you have done that, i just want to know if it was with PS or something else.
