the thing is though, how do they patch it? lol. they can't stop people installing version 1.00 can they? and since the bug exists on any new cars how would they fix it.
They make game saves only valid for certain versions. By ensuring you can only a game save that is locked to v1.01, it stops the exploit.
That is the easiest way to do it, other than deleting everyones game saves or increasing the buying price og the GTV cars.
They need us as customers, to buy their monthly DLC packs for the next 12-18 months, and sales are down 80% as it is !
So, no, it makes no commercial sense to even try to 'punish' people that have used this expolit. But then again, it makes no "gaming sense" to create a racing / Ai system like this one either!!!!!!!!
I don't think you get it do you? You need to actually play through the game! I have only been playing for 5 days, and have all the cars and credits I need. Not to mention what you are doing is against PD.. especially if getting credits is monetised.
Have fun cheating.
But being wealthy enough to pay $120 for each 20M car, isn't cheating ????
Is it "fair" that someone who is unemployed, and has the time to spend 100s of hours grinding, gets to earn more credits that someone who can only the game for an hour a day ?
They will no doubt fix this exploit, and ruin many people's game saves in the process (this has already started !), and continue to revel in the fact that prize cars and prize money, in-game, are severly deflated deliberately to encourage people to buy in-game credits, at disgusting prices.
They better revise their policy or I for one will be boycotting their DLC and they won't get another dime out of me.
