20 million credits for free!

I did this glitch last night and got my 20,000,000 credits (or, as I am in Japan, the number looks like this 2,000,000,000 muawhaha) but i thought in v 1.00 the cap is 20,000,000 so if you were to sell any cars in 1.0 wouldn't that be the limit? How are you getting around the v 1.0 limit selling cars in v 1.0?

I'm still learnin'

Convert / Sell glitch car(s?) into buying legit cars, preferably a 20 mil car like the XJ13. Payout will be around 4.5 mil.

/edit
Pretty sure they will patch every cars selling above a certain amount, maybe 2 mil. (would equal ~420k) so we don't abuse this type of exploit. I wasn't expecting this to gain this much traction, especially since the game is officially less than 5 days old. Make haste and stack them up for your final reinstall. Have fun.

It is time consuming. Selling a glitched car and buying an XJ13 and ready to sell the next glitched car takes 50 seconds (if you rush). Lets call it a minute on average. It takes 1h40mins to trade 100 cars.

The rate you earn cars is gonna max out at one per minute and total amount limited by how many you can hold in stockyard and garage.

With that first 20,000,000 you go back to 1.01 and buy 20 more AMG VGT's. Then you go back to 1.00 and sell each car for 20,000,000 (That is 20 X 20,000,000) and go shopping. If you want even more cars keep the last 20,000,000 credits from selling the last AMG VGT then go back to 1.01 and buy 20 more AMG VGT's. Now go back to 1.00 and sell the AMG VGTs and buy more cars.

If you do all that and buy only the expensive cars that should put you well over 400 of the most expensive cars. I didn't want to go over 500 since the stockyard is broken and people are loosing cars they put in the stockyard.

Edit: It looks like you can also buy the M4 and the glitch will work the same. They are much cheaper than the AMG VGT but you get the VGT as a gift.

Its for transferring into 1.01. Its preferable to grab the expensive cars at 1.00 like you mentioned but when you finalize your last install, Get the credit limit of 20 mil and a garage load of historic cars at 20 mil. Let's say 200 XJ13, So 200 Jag. x sell at 4.2 mil + 20 mil = enough to buy tyres for a reasonable amount of time.

I don't think I'd enjoy GT6 if I had all that money to start with.. the whole point of GT is level up your garage slowly and start small and end up with super cars at the end. .

I agree ... its like buying a PS3 packed with all games available ... what would you choose to start playing?!?! ....

on top of that ... you still need to learn how to drive ...
take the thread on the Stratos ... https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/threads/lancia-stratos-15th-aniv-undriveable.292850/
or golding the S licence tests ... that's where the real fun of this game is in ...
learning to control each vehicle ...
slowly progressing and enjoying the game ...

greed .... >sigh< :indiff: ... short term satisfaction ...

All reports about loosing the cars in stockyard was from people who moved 15th anniv. cars to stockyard.
No, you've obviously not read all reports then. I moved a couple of rubbish cars over there. Next time I looked they were gone. I haven't even redeemed my 15th anniversay cars yet.

I did the glitch once, purely because I didn't want to grind for hours to have some mess around money as well as having some interesting cars to do photoshoots. So far the only really expensive car I've bought is the '61 Ferrari 250 GT, the rest of the 12,000,000 spent has just been on other cars that I'm interested in.

I also don't see doing it once as ruining the game as there are still a ton of cars that are expensive and I'll still continue doing career mode like I was prior to this. I understand some people like the "zero to hero" career mode, but everyone has different tastes and plays the game to fit them, that's what makes GT style games so great, their lack of structure make it pretty much possible to get whatever experience you want from it.

Everyone should decide for himself only. If you don't wanna glitch then it's up to you. Go away from such threads and play as designed by game creator.
I've played many racing games on PS3/PC/Android and what i preffer is to have all cars in my garage and then just enjoy the game by racing. I don't like to do the same race 100 times just to grind the money. I like to progress the career without wory that i haven't required (or liked) car. So, usually i start the games with some hacks to buy all cars and accessories. And then i start to play. That's my style. And i enjoy this way. It doesn't make the game boring or ruined for me.

Just to recap... Does this work with the M4 as well?
And also, does it affect the Anniversary cars in any way?
Thanks peeps!

When you go into the past without the patch, you will see your anniversary cars with exclamation points next to them. But when you're done with messin around, you just go to the Playstation store and re-download them.
I did not however check to see if it remembers that you drove them or whatever - so they may be new when they're redownloaded or whatever (if that matters to you)

Disagree totally. My enjoyment comes from buying cars, tuning them up, painting them, trying out different wheels and aero kits, test driving them on track and making tweaks.

For this I need credits.

What I don't enjoy is playing the same old races for two hours straight just to get enough money to buy a stage 3 turbo.

Now, I've got a garage of 200 high end cars, 50m credits and now I can choose whether to spend time my time tuning them, customising them, going in to photo mode, playing my mate at 2 player split screen using race cars, etc etc.

Now the game has opened up!

Plus, I've still got 70% of the game left to complete and that's before all the seasonal races and the DLC comes on to the scene.

I don't think you get it do you? You need to actually play through the game! I have only been playing for 5 days, and have all the cars and credits I need. Not to mention what you are doing is against PD.. especially if getting credits is monetised.

Have fun cheating.

These people just don't understand do they lol, and they are screwing PD over too.

Awesome! Thanks bro 👍

I think that when PD see what is going on, they will get their PSN blocked and all credits, cars removed, now THAT would be funny.
Pretty sure they read the gaming news, and are already well aware of it. They'll patch it & move on, like every other time most likely. Hardly seems a good use of their time to go poking into thousands of individual accts to see who deleted their update & redownloaded it or whatever.

And I'm done slumming it in career mode, darn it! :grumpy: I wanted my vintage cars like the Abarth Bertone & Muira Bertone, and that's that. I don't want to race race cars in the Super GT single player or whatever the heck.

Just let it go bro, you're making a scene

I kind of agree with your philosophy I want a real Ferrari too, suppose I better steal some money lol - I don't think so pal.

Seriously? People are comparing this to real life grand theft auto felonies??? Really???

But hey, for all you know I'm a huge criminal in real life! :irked: :mischievous:
I could be this dark underworld figure involved in some heavy 🤬 !!
I could be a hit man like Pierce Brosnan's character in The Matador, where he was all like a creepy clingy friend to Greg Kinnear. I could be any moment showing up at your house, and just taking right over YOUR playstation. And what are you going to do big man? If I'm a hit man!! You won't mess with me. I could be doing who knows what.

the thing is though, how do they patch it? lol. they can't stop people installing version 1.00 can they? and since the bug exists on any new cars how would they fix it.

If people want to use this glitch/cheat/theft thingy because they don't want to grind for mind numbingly crazy amounts of time, I say go for it.

The thing that worries me the most is that PD will spend a heap of time trying to fix the issue instead of fixing the game... a game that's been broken since GT5.

I think that the only way that PD could potentially discourage this is in an update to make the VGT cars worth 20 Million to buy, considering normally you are supposed to get them as a gift anyway. Considering the cars are worth 20 million to sell in 1.00, if you have to buy them for 20 million in the latest patch, then it won't be much of a profit to abuse this trick
