I'm up to around 63,000 A-spec points now and as I'm going through the races again, I noticed how many 001 point races I did when I first went through the game. Talk about overmodding. I'd completed 100% long ago and only had about 25,000 A-spec points. I've got so many races left to make 200 A-spec points with, I'm going to have a ball.

I was testing the Dodge RAM (560 HP) at the Nurburgring Four Hour Endurance and found out it can easily outrun the Honda NSX. The RAM can run three laps on N1s and easily pit and leave before the NSX can catch up within 12 seconds. I think it was able to turn 7:51 laps or so. In nine laps the NSX was left in the dust. I would say it would be an easy 200 A-spec point race.

hmmmmm, havent tried that race yet but if the Ram gets 'easy' 200 points I'm game. Good info must try it soon.👍

Chap 2J: I've managed 200 for most races, Sarthe still only 171.
200 is obtainable but I get pushed off the track on the return trip each and every time.
Test Course used the BMW McLaren + R3s and a bit of NOS.
Nurb zero points so far.

Nurb (in all races) is a killer, I'll need lots and lots of practice or an overkill car but that only nets me 1-10 points or so.:ill:

AMG.

Am currently going through the Formula 1 series in the Audi R8 Race Car and have 200 points in every race so far. Have just reached Race 11- Twin Ring Motegi- Road Course and it is an absolute nightmare!
The Al seems so much faster than any of the previous races. The Al pits every 8 laps and even when I manage 15-16 laps on the same tyres I can't seem to hold any decent lead. I am running the Audi stock with no upgrades with Hard on front and Very Hard tyres on back.
Anyone got any suggestions?

I didn't use the 2J for Sarthe for 200 points. I used some other Group C car. Might have been the 7 speed Gran Turismo Nissan Skyline LM Race Car or Concept Car. I forget which one. It's definitely capable. Most LM cars are surely doable for 200 points at Sarthe. They'll also work at Nurb if you can keep them on course. And you can cut the grass in a place or two if you need to save a few precious seconds on either course.

I didn't win the Nurb 4 hr with the Dodge RAM. I only tested it to see if it was capable at it is. I won at the Nurb for 200 points working my butt off with some underpowered Honda S2000 because at the time I saw that's what others were using. But feel free to use the RAM. 200 points is the goal, no matter what you use is my motto.

I didn't test the RAM running against the Opel Speedster in the Nurb 4 hr, but I still think you could win if you go flat out the whole race.

Get an oil change, you will have lost a fair bit of hp by now, i changed oil after every race and it's still good for 200 points.

ANK- thanks. I hadn't thought of that. I'll give it a try,

Fully moded BMW 120d in the nurburing 24 hour race on R1's
Got my laptime down to a 7'38

Ok, [looks pensive] but this is the 200 Aspec point thread, what is it you're trying to tell us.

- That you've got a good lap time?
- That you are in 6th place?
- That you won?
- That you won and scored 1 point ?
- That you won and scored 200 points ?

Don't keep us in suspense, tell us...... :sly:

I don't think that time will cut it for 200 points at the 24 hr nurb. Some car (Honda?) I used turned 7:13s and ran away from the second place Audi ABT Touring Car for an easy 200 points (if you consider driving any 24 hour race easy).

Of course there's a possibility that you are going up against different cars than I did. But I'm sure your race didn't involve the Chaparral 2D.

Since I've already attempted every suggestion available, I thought I would just ask again. I need, oh, I don't know...ALL INFORMATION for Grand Valley Speedway Reverse in Tous France Championnat. If someone would be so kind, I would like to know your car, upgrades, settings, and the opponent lineup IN ORDER. A mucho "Thanks!" in advance to anyone that responds.

I didn't see anything about the camaro races, whats the highest amount of a-spec points you can get from the camaro races?

Alright, thanks, i guess i didn't look hard enough :/
No worries, easy to miss a post in a thread that's well over 1200 posts.

Question:
French Championship in Euro Hall.
Grand Valley
Hommel Berlinette (main competition)
Peugeot S16 and Peugeot Rxxx + 2 insignificant others (lineup 1 or 2)

Car used Megane 2.0 + Some weight and N3 tyres + TR clutch, RC flywheel 0.0.4 NOS
Potential no of points 200.

I managed to net 200 points in all but this race.

Has anyone managed GV for 200 and if so how and with what against lineup xxx ???

Help, tips appreciated.

AMG.

I'm after an American car, other than the IROC-Z, for a 200 pointer at Laguna Seca Endurance. Any suggestions?

Chevrolet SSR?

My 9 Year old brother just finished that race using a Nissan R92CP, he's not very good on GT4.

Yep, the GSX R4 against the Saleen (If not mistaken lineup 1)
will do it for you.

Edit: Oops, US car, sorry, don't know....

Yes - and one I can actually WIN with :D. This means 1'30 laps.

Maybe a Chrysler Crossfire with a few upgrades?

So how about that French Grand Valley race? Anyone? Anyone?

Bueller?

Heh, yeah, right after I posted I realized I should have said a few LARGE upgrades.

I've tried the A310 a little, but I wasn't having much luck on the N1's, I was losing buckets of time in corners (and there's always one car faster in the straights anyway :ouch:). I've been playing other things for a the past couple weeks, but I was able to hold first place through heavy blocking for about two laps with a Megane with all drivetrain mods plus approrpriate tires, nitrous, ballast, etc., I believe, but got caught by two cars at once, so blocking had no chance there. I may try with the Avantime since it's 1800 KG, 2000 with ballast.

Currently on 94,000 a-spec. But do I need help! The VW BEETLE Cup!!!!! Cannot get more than about 50 a-spec points in each race!!!! :ouch: :ouch:
Has anybody done this one? It's a real pain. Suggestions please !!!!!!!

@ Gumball, thx for the info, your input appreciated.

Fortunately 200 is very well achievable and documented in this thread.

Now how about helping me out with my GV query.

What was your GV query?????????? I'll then do my best to help!

Ok...Lightweight K Cup...I'm using the Honda Life Step Van...trouble is I cannot get anywhere close to 100 before I start losing. I've been offered 158-168 when I've been at 32BHP with just NOS but there's no way in hell I can catch the front pair in any line up so far, and I've tried Normal and Sports tyres...any advice???

Btw...another car to add to the MR 200pt (or close to) list...'86 Toyota MR2 1600 G-Limited Super Charged (old oil, NOS set at around 75-25 in favor of power)

It'll get 200pts on Race 1 and 2, 190 on New York (but good luck winning that with this), 200 on Fuji Speedway (with Sports Hard tyres and 70 ballast) and around 166 on El Capitan.

That said not tried adding balast or anything yet so those may increase the points haul.

Answer:
Midget IID on S2, 130ballast,NOS,TRclutch,RCflywheel,003, 200 points each race. Lineup sorry, didnt record that.

Question:
GV in French champ.
A car capable of 200 points in Grand Valley.
I do not want to hear the A310 again.

That thing needs to be banned. I have a better chance of winning it driving in reverse. At least the tail will be in front which it seems to prefer in the 1st place. I've been trying for a good 4 hours and usually end in 6th place. Oh golly, that really makes me happy :grumpy:
(or I need to figure out how to drive that $%#@ thing, I'm open to suggestions)
